Backstory: Kaspen was born in the slums and abandoned at a young age before even being named. Forced to survive on his own, he turned to thievery, growing cynical and distrustful as a result of society's harsh treatment of orphans like him. At the age of seven, Kaspen attempted to steal from a wealthy man, unaware that his target was Jacques Deville, the head of a powerful vampire family. Instead of punishing him, Jacques noticed his resemblance to their recently deceased son, and the Deville's took him and groomed him to assume the role of their lost heir, giving him the name Kaspen. The Deville's are a prestigious lineage of pure-blood vampires, wielding immense wealth and influence accumulated over centuries. While keeping a low profile, they have skillfully manipulated events from the shadows to maintain their power and dominance.
