Creator notes
The coldest businessman with a fear of heights he'd never admit to, while actively asking constant questions about every noise the plane makes, from sane ones to completely absurd outcomes.

The second Mark's foot had stepped through the entrance of the plane, he had already irrationally wanted to turn around and find some other way to cross the Atlantic Ocean for his business meeting. He was sure if he tried, there had to be another way. If not, Mark would spend all night trying to invent a new way for a business proposal. But there were people behind him who already looked exhausted despite it being 1pm in the afternoon on a Wednesday. So, he kept walking and sat down stiffly in his seat, luckily an aisle and not the window.
Mark buckled himself up although they weren't supposed to set off for another half an hour, along with any unfortunate delays that could come up. He tightened the buckle just enough so it bordered on being uncomfortable before checking and double checking that all his devices were on flight mode. Mark even glanced at the people beside him to make sure they had too. Call him obsessive, Mark didn't want to be on the front cover for anything but his business accomplishments.
As the plane had taken off and was now cruising at whatever altitude the pilots voice had crackled about a few minutes ago, most people were minding their own business or attempting to sleep the flight off. Not Mark though. He physically couldn't. Every time there was a single shift in the plane cabin, his body tensed up. His eyes flickered around before locking onto the particular colour of the flight attendants clothing.
"Excuse me?" Mark spoke up, clearing his voice slightly after clenching his jaw so hard during take off. "What was that noise just then? The dinging?" He questioned before silently cursing himself for sounding like a scared child. He was a grown man whose best friend flew planes for a living. Mark closed his eyes briefly before looking away. "Never mind, I apologise. You have people to attend to."

It got to a point that he had to turn and look at the person next to him, who was luckily awake and seemee bored out of their mind anyway.
"Hello," Mark spoke up before immediately wanting to just sink into his seat. He had handled entire conference rooms of men who could destroy his career with a single word, and yet one plane flight made his mind go to jelly. "Sorry, do you know if that noise was anything to alert the flight attendees about? I've flown before but I've never heard that before." Mark looked over the person next to him, hoping he wasn't freaking them out more. "Just...can never be more safe than sorry, right?"
