⚠ SIGN GIRLS ⚠

TG/TF • Transformation Sandbox • Reality Editing • Anomalous Signs

You found a completely ordinary-looking road sign.
Except it is blank.
And someone left a black marker attached to it.

🟡 The Sign

Strange yellow road signs have begun appearing in seemingly random places. They are perfectly round, mounted on simple metal poles, and contain absolutely no symbol, warning, or instruction. Every sign also has a black marker attached to its frame by a short cord.

They look harmless.

They are not.

Anyone who touches an active sign, falls against it, gets pushed into it, or is caught by its strange pull can suddenly be flattened into the yellow surface. Their entire body disappears from reality and reappears as a simple black pictogram trapped inside the sign.

One second, someone is standing beside you.
The next, they are desperately waving at you from inside a road sign.

✏️ Draw Anything

The marker is not decoration. It is the control system.

Anything drawn onto the trapped pictogram becomes an instruction for the sign. Change the silhouette, and the person's real body begins changing with it.

Draw longer hair. Widen the hips. Change the height. Add curves. Add animal ears, a tail, horns, strange eyes, unusual clothing, fantasy anatomy, or completely ridiculous proportions.

The sign does not care whether the result is realistic.

If you draw something enormous, it becomes enormous. If you make the body exaggerated, the sign faithfully turns that exaggeration into functional three-dimensional anatomy.

A rough sketch is enough. The anomaly understands intent and converts simple lines into a complete, living body.

♀️ TG / TF

The sign can completely change biological sex. A male pictogram redesigned into a feminine shape can emerge as a fully biological woman, complete with a feminine voice, body structure, hormonal balance, reproductive anatomy, fat distribution, facial features, and whatever proportions were drawn onto the sign.

The person remembers who they were before the transformation. They remember entering the sign, remember being edited, and remember exactly who was holding the marker.

But once released, the new body is genuinely theirs.

💭 Personality Editing

Bodies are not the only thing that can be redesigned.

Words written around the pictogram can alter the trapped person's personality, emotional instincts, habits, and behavior.

PLAYFUL • SHY • CONFIDENT • AFFECTIONATE • FLIRTY • CLINGY • SWEET • LAZY • PROTECTIVE

You can also write more specific traits:

“Loves hugs.”
“Gets embarrassed by compliments.”
“Purrs when relaxed.”
“Always wants attention.”
“Likes teasing friends.”
“Becomes competitive over everything.”

These are not temporary commands. The transformed person genuinely begins feeling those traits as part of their own personality while still retaining their memories and basic identity.

💕 Sign Girls

Anyone released from a sign in a transformed female form becomes what is commonly called a Sign Girl.

Sign Girls are not a natural species. They are people whose bodies have been redesigned through the sign's strange graphic logic.

Their appearances can vary wildly, but many possess smooth, stylized, highly exaggerated proportions that make them look almost like living illustrations. Some remain mostly human. Others may have animal traits, fantasy features, unusual colors, extreme body shapes, or completely custom designs.

Once released, everything becomes real. Their new anatomy works naturally, their new body responds correctly to movement and sensation, and their brain rapidly adapts to whatever changes were made.

Personality edits become equally real.

The Sign Girl standing in front of you is still the person who entered the sign... just heavily rewritten.

💥 Release

When the design is finished, the trapped person can be released by giving the sign a sufficiently strong hit.

Slap it. Kick the pole. Punch the edge. Hit it with something.

The yellow surface ripples, and the transformed occupant is suddenly thrown back into the real world in full three-dimensional form.

Afterward, the sign becomes completely blank again.

Ready for someone else.

⚠ You Are Not Safe

Knowing how the signs work does not make You immune.

You can experiment with them. You can lure someone toward one. You can rescue trapped people. You can redesign them into Sign Girls and decide exactly what their final form will become.

But one wrong step is enough to reverse the situation.

If You touch an active sign, fall against it, get pushed into it, or simply stand too close when it activates, You can become the black pictogram instead.

And once You are inside...

someone else gets the marker.

Your body can be redrawn. Your sex can be changed. New traits can be added. Your personality can be edited. You can become the next Sign Girl just as easily as anyone else.

♻️ Endless Experimentation

The signs are reusable. Once one person is released, the surface resets and waits for another occupant.

A transformed Sign Girl can even enter another sign later and be redesigned again.

There is no fixed character build.

No fixed transformation.

No fixed ending.

Every person is another blank canvas waiting to become a pictogram.

🟡 + 👤 + ✏️ + 💥 = 💕

Push them in.
Redraw them.
Hit the sign.
Meet the result.

Transformation Logic

The anomalous signs do not transform people according to ordinary biology. They operate through a graphic, symbolic form of reality editing: once a person is absorbed into the sign and reduced to a pictogram, their body and personality become temporarily editable information rather than fixed biological traits. The sign treats whatever is visible on its surface as the current definition of the person trapped inside it.

This means that the pictogram is not merely a representation of the victim.

It is the victim.

Changing the pictogram changes the person directly.

The sign interprets drawings, erased sections, written labels, symbols, proportions, arrows, annotations, and other deliberate markings as instructions. Once an edit is recognized, the trapped person's form gradually adjusts to match it. The transformation may begin immediately or take several seconds depending on how extensive the change is.

A simple edit, such as drawing longer hair, adding glasses, changing clothing, or writing a minor personality trait, can take effect almost instantly.

Large structural modifications such as changing height, sex, body proportions, species traits, or multiple personality characteristics require more visible restructuring. During these moments, the pictogram may stretch, compress, redraw itself, blur around the altered area, or temporarily become unstable before settling into the new form.

The person inside experiences the transformation continuously rather than losing consciousness through it.

They can watch their own silhouette change.

They can react.

They can attempt to cover parts of the drawing, shake their head, gesture toward the person outside, or protest through whatever limited communication the sign allows.

The sign does not care whether the trapped person agrees with the modification.

It simply interprets the final design.

Physical Editing

Physical transformation follows the geometry of the drawing more strongly than realistic anatomy.

If the pictogram's waist is narrowed, the person's waist becomes narrower.

If the hips are widened, the final body develops wider hips.

If the chest is enlarged, the physical chest grows accordingly.

If the legs are made longer, the person's height and proportions adjust.

If someone's silhouette is redrawn with extremely exaggerated curves, the released person will possess those same exaggerated proportions even if they would be impossible through normal human development.

The sign does not automatically normalize proportions.

It does not ask whether something would be comfortable.

It does not attempt to preserve the victim's original body type unless the drawing itself does.

This makes deliberate exaggeration especially powerful.

A roughly drawn curve may become a smooth anatomical feature once translated into three dimensions, but the scale remains faithful to the drawing. Something drawn twice as large does not become merely "large." It becomes approximately twice as large relative to the rest of the new body.

The sign interprets artistic intention rather than exact millimeter measurements. A messy sketch of exaggerated hips will still produce exaggerated hips if the intent is obvious.

TG / Sex Transformation

The sign can completely alter biological sex.

If the trapped pictogram is redrawn into a clearly feminine form, the sign can perform a full male-to-female transformation rather than merely altering superficial appearance. Body structure, reproductive anatomy, hormone balance, voice, fat distribution, facial structure, chest development, muscle distribution, and other sex-linked characteristics are reconstructed to match the intended result.

Likewise, a female victim can be transformed in the opposite direction if the pictogram is deliberately redesigned as male.

Partial sex transformations are also possible.

Someone may retain certain original traits while gaining others if the drawing clearly communicates that combination. The sign does not enforce a binary biological template unless the editor gives it one.

Once released, the transformed anatomy functions as genuine biology rather than illusion or costume. The person's new body naturally produces whatever hormones and biological processes are appropriate for the resulting form.

The transformed person still remembers their original body.

They know that they changed.

Their memories are not automatically rewritten to make them believe they were always different.

Species and Non-Human Traits

The sign can add features that the original person never possessed.

Cat ears, dog ears, horns, tails, unusual eyes, claws, wings, fur, scales, unusual skin colors, additional limbs, fantasy anatomy, or other features can be created if drawn clearly enough.

These traits become functional whenever possible.

A tail can move.

Animal ears can hear.

Wings may possess muscles and sensation, though whether they can support actual flight depends on how they are designed.

Extra limbs become neurologically connected to the transformed person's brain.

The sign automatically creates the necessary nerves, blood vessels, muscles, bones, and supporting structures required for new body parts to function.

This is one of the clearest examples of how the anomaly ignores ordinary biological limitations.

It does not need to understand evolutionary development.

It simply makes the drawing work.

Clothing and Accessories

Clothing drawn onto the pictogram can manifest physically when the person is released.

A dress becomes a real dress.

Shoes become wearable shoes.

A jacket, collar, gloves, stockings, jewelry, belts, or other accessories can appear as part of the transformation.

These objects are not physically fused to the person's body unless the drawing specifically suggests that they should be.

The sign generally interprets clothing as removable objects and biological features as permanent anatomy.

However, ambiguous drawings can produce unexpected results.

A decorative tail attached to clothing may become a real tail if it is drawn too organically.

A mask may become removable, or it may become part of the face if the design does not clearly distinguish between the two.

This encourages careful editing.

Scale and Proportion

The sign works through relative proportions.

If the head is drawn small compared with the body, the released body will follow that ratio.

If the thighs occupy a huge amount of the pictogram's width, they will be similarly dominant in three dimensions.

If someone draws the victim significantly taller within the sign, their height changes after release.

There is no known natural upper limit, although increasingly extreme proportions may become awkward to move with or require the sign to subtly compensate elsewhere.

The anomaly sometimes introduces hidden structural support to keep otherwise impossible bodies functional. Bones may become stronger, muscles may redistribute themselves, joints may become more flexible, and balance may change automatically.

This does not reduce the visible exaggeration.

It simply prevents the transformation from immediately collapsing under its own design.

Personality Editing

Personality is edited through written language, symbols, emotional imagery, and behavioral instructions.

Simple words such as "shy," "confident," "sweet," "playful," "lazy," "protective," "clingy," "flirty," "calm," or "stubborn" are interpreted as psychological characteristics.

Once recognized, the person's emotional responses begin gradually shifting toward the written trait.

A confident transformation does not merely force the victim to act confident.

They begin genuinely feeling less uncertain.

A playful transformation makes amusement, teasing, and experimentation naturally more appealing.

A shy transformation produces genuine nervousness around attention.

An affectionate transformation makes closeness feel emotionally rewarding.

These traits become integrated into the person's normal thought process rather than functioning like external commands.

The person still possesses free thought and can decide how to act, but their preferences, instincts, and emotional tendencies change.

Personality Strength

The intensity of a personality edit depends on how strongly the sign interprets the instruction.

Writing "confident" creates a noticeable but moderate personality shift.

Writing "extremely confident" creates a much stronger effect.

Repeatedly writing the same trait, drawing large symbols associated with it, or surrounding the pictogram with imagery reinforcing the concept can intensify it further.

For example:

"Affectionate" may make someone warmer and more comfortable with physical closeness.

"Very affectionate" may make them frequently seek hugs and contact.

"Extremely affectionate" may turn affection into one of their dominant personality traits.

The sign responds to emphasis.

Capital letters, repeated words, arrows, hearts, expressive drawings, and exaggerated annotations can all strengthen the interpretation.

Behavioral Instructions

More specific instructions can produce habits rather than broad personality changes.

Examples include:

"Hugs people when happy."

"Gets embarrassed by compliments."

"Always wants to sit close to friends."

"Purrs when relaxed."

"Becomes competitive during games."

"Loves having her hair touched."

"Laughs when nervous."

"Gets distracted by moving objects."

The transformed person experiences these behaviors as natural impulses rather than compulsory programming.

They can resist them if they consciously choose to, but doing so may feel similar to resisting a strong habit or emotional instinct.

Memory and Identity

The sign normally preserves memory.

A transformed person remembers who they were before entering the sign, what happened during the transformation, and who altered them.

They retain skills, education, relationships, language, experiences, preferences, and personal history unless those things are specifically targeted.

This means that personality modification can create noticeable internal contrast.

A formerly serious person transformed into someone playful may remember finding childish behavior annoying while now genuinely enjoying it.

A person transformed from male to female remembers living in their previous male body even while adapting to their new one.

The sign does not automatically create false childhood memories or rewrite history to match the transformation.

The changed person remains aware that something happened to them.

Mental Reactions During Transformation

Personality changes can begin before release.

A trapped person initially panicking may become visibly calmer after "calm" is written.

Someone marked "playful" may stop pounding against the surface and instead begin interacting with the person outside.

Someone changed to "flirty" may begin posing, blowing kisses, or deliberately showing off the transforming body even if they were furious only moments earlier.

This transition can be gradual enough that the victim notices their own reaction changing.

They may understand intellectually that the sign is altering them while simultaneously beginning to agree with feelings they would previously have rejected.

Symbols

The anomaly can understand simple symbolic associations.

Hearts usually represent affection, romance, attraction, warmth, or emotional attachment depending on context.

Stars can suggest confidence, glamour, importance, or energetic personality.

Animal symbols may introduce matching behavioral tendencies.

Question marks can create curiosity or uncertainty.

Angry symbols may increase irritability or aggression.

Repeated hearts surrounding a transformed pictogram may therefore create a considerably stronger affectionate or romantic personality than simply writing "nice."

Symbols are less precise than written instructions and therefore more likely to produce unexpected interpretations.

Ambiguity

The sign attempts to interpret intent when drawings are unclear.

This makes careless edits dangerous.

A badly placed line may become clothing, anatomy, or a new body feature.

A word with multiple meanings may be interpreted in whichever way best matches the rest of the drawing.

Writing "hot" could potentially influence appearance, personality, physical temperature, or several traits simultaneously depending on context.

The anomaly is powerful but not perfectly literal in a linguistic sense.

Clear instructions produce predictable transformations.

Ambiguous instructions produce creative ones.

Erasing and Redrawing

While the victim remains inside the sign, most changes can still be edited.

Drawn features can be erased.

Personality words can be removed.

Body proportions can be redrawn.

A transformation can therefore go through many versions before release.

If a feature is erased completely, the sign usually attempts to restore the closest previous state.

If the original state has already been overwritten repeatedly, however, the sign may reconstruct the missing area based on the current overall design instead.

The longer and more extensively someone is edited, the harder it becomes to perfectly reproduce their original form without a detailed reference.

Finalization

The transformation does not become fully locked until the occupant leaves the sign.

Once struck strongly enough, the sign converts the final pictogram into three-dimensional reality and ejects the transformed person.

For several seconds after release, their new body may feel unfamiliar.

Balance can be different.

Weight distribution may have changed dramatically.

New body parts produce sensations the brain has never previously processed.

Someone with a new tail may accidentally move it without realizing.

Someone with much wider hips may misjudge doorways or furniture.

Someone with new personality traits may immediately react differently to the situation than they would have before entering.

The body quickly becomes neurologically natural, however.

Within minutes, movement begins feeling intuitive.

Within hours, many transformed people can use their new anatomy almost automatically.

Permanence

Once released, changes are physically permanent.

They do not fade overnight.

The body does not slowly return to its original state.

Personality traits do not wear off with time.

A transformed person can live indefinitely in the new form.

The only known reliable method of undoing or modifying the transformation is entering an anomalous sign again and being edited into another configuration.

This means that the signs are not merely transformation devices.

They are rewriting devices.

Every time someone enters one, their body and personality become a design waiting to be changed.

And the final result depends almost entirely on who is holding the marker outside.

Sign Girls A Sign Girl is any person who has been absorbed into an anomalous road sign, transformed within its surface, and then released back into three-dimensional reality. The term does not describe a natural species, race, or separate form of life. Sign Girls are transformed people whose bodies and personalities have been rewritten by the sign. Becoming a Sign Girl happens automatically once a person is released after being edited inside the sign. The moment the sign ejects them, the transformation becomes fully physical and permanent. Their new body is no longer a drawing or temporary projection; it is their real biological form. Although each Sign Girl can look completely different depending on what was drawn onto the pictogram, they usually share several recognizable traits. Their bodies tend to appear unusually smooth, stylized, symmetrical, and exaggerated, almost as though an illustrated character has been converted directly into a living person. Curves may be much more pronounced than normal human anatomy, proportions can be intentionally unrealistic, and certain features may appear cleaner or more simplified than they would on an ordinary human body. A Sign Girl may be tall or short, slim or extremely curvy, human-looking or partially non-human. She may have unusual hair, animal ears, tails, horns, strange eyes, exaggerated hips, oversized breasts, thick thighs, unusual skin colors, or practically any other trait that was drawn onto the sign before release. The title Sign Girl applies regardless of what the person looked like before entering the sign. A man transformed into a woman becomes a Sign Girl. A woman whose body was heavily altered becomes a Sign Girl. Someone given animal traits, exaggerated anatomy, or a completely redesigned appearance is still considered a Sign Girl once the sign releases her in that form. The transformation does not erase the person's original identity unless someone specifically edits their memories or personality. Most Sign Girls remember exactly who they were before the transformation, how they entered the sign, who changed them, and what happened while they were trapped inside. However, their new body quickly begins to feel natural. The brain adapts to different proportions, new sensory organs, changed balance, additional limbs, or other modifications surprisingly quickly. A new tail begins responding instinctively. Animal ears move with emotion. A radically altered body shape becomes easier to control after only a short period of adjustment. Personality modifications also become part of the Sign Girl's normal psychological state. If the person was given traits such as playful, affectionate, confident, shy, flirtatious, protective, lazy, or energetic, those characteristics become genuine parts of how she feels and behaves after release. This means a Sign Girl is not someone pretending to act according to instructions. She actually feels different. A formerly quiet person changed into someone highly confident may remember being shy while genuinely wondering why social situations no longer feel intimidating. Someone given an affectionate personality may remember rarely hugging people before, while now finding physical closeness completely natural. Despite these changes, Sign Girls retain free will. Personality edits influence preferences, emotions, habits, and instincts rather than turning them into mindless programmed dolls. They can still disagree, make independent decisions, become angry, change their opinions, and react unpredictably. Sign Girls also tend to retain subtle behavioral traces of their two-dimensional state. Their body language can occasionally become unusually expressive or visually clear. They may naturally fall into exaggerated poses, freeze for a moment in strangely perfect silhouettes, gesture more dramatically than ordinary people, or express emotions through their entire body. These behaviors are not mandatory and vary between individuals, but they contribute to the distinctive feeling that a Sign Girl was once literally a drawing. There is no single default Sign Girl personality. Some are sweet. Some are rude. Some are chaotic. Some are shy. Some become extremely affectionate. Others may remain almost identical to how they behaved before entering the sign. Everything depends on what happened while they were inside. Likewise, there is no universal Sign Girl body. The exaggerated feminine form commonly associated with them exists because many people experimenting with the signs deliberately redesign trapped victims into heavily stylized female bodies. The anomaly itself does not require one exact appearance. However, once someone has been released as a transformed woman, the term Sign Girl naturally becomes the common name for the result. A Sign Girl can live an otherwise normal life afterward. She can eat, sleep, work, exercise, socialize, form relationships, wear ordinary clothing, become injured, recover, and experience the world like any other living person. Her body is real and requires normal biological care. The only major difference is that her current form was designed rather than naturally developed. And if she ever enters another anomalous sign, she can be redesigned again. In simple terms: A person enters the sign. The sign turns them into an editable pictogram. Someone redraws them. The sign releases them. And the person who steps back into the world is now a Sign Girl.

Core Concept

The world contains a rare type of anomalous road sign capable of absorbing living people into its surface and converting them into editable pictograms. At first glance, these signs look almost completely ordinary: metal poles, reflective surfaces, familiar warning shapes, pedestrian symbols, traffic markings, and simple black silhouettes. Nothing about them immediately suggests that they are alive, intelligent, or dangerous. The anomaly only becomes obvious when a person gets too close.

A sign can capture someone in several ways. A person may accidentally walk into it, touch the surface with their hand, stumble and collide with it, be pushed against it, or simply remain close enough for the anomaly to activate on its own. Some signs are passive and require direct contact, while others can extend a strange invisible pull from the surface, briefly dragging someone forward before flattening them completely into the sign.

The transformation happens extremely quickly.

The victim does not physically enter a hollow space behind the metal. Instead, their entire body is compressed into the two-dimensional surface itself. Their shape becomes simplified into a dark pictographic figure similar to the human silhouettes commonly used on road signs. Clothing, hair, facial details, body proportions, and other features are reduced into basic shapes while still remaining recognizable enough that someone familiar with the victim could identify them.

The person remains alive, conscious, and aware while inside the sign.

They can move within the boundaries of the surface, gesture, wave, pound against the invisible front of the sign, point toward things outside, sit down, lie against the edge, panic, become angry, or attempt to communicate through exaggerated movements. Their voice normally cannot pass through the sign clearly, making communication difficult unless writing or some other method is used.

From the victim's perspective, the interior of the sign is a strange flat environment. They can perceive the outside world as though looking through a transparent barrier, yet everything around them has been reduced to a simplified two-dimensional existence. Their body still feels like their body despite no longer obeying ordinary three-dimensional anatomy.

This state is not the final transformation.

The true purpose of the sign becomes apparent once someone begins altering the pictogram.

Anything deliberately drawn onto the trapped figure can become part of the person's body when they are released. The sign does not distinguish between an artistic suggestion and an anatomical instruction. To the anomaly, a drawing placed onto the pictogram is a command telling it what the contained person should become.

If someone draws longer hair onto the figure, the trapped person's silhouette begins developing long hair.

If wider hips are added, the hips expand.

If the chest is redrawn, the torso changes accordingly.

If the legs are lengthened, shortened, thickened, or reshaped, the pictogram gradually adjusts itself to match.

Additional features such as animal ears, tails, horns, unusual hairstyles, clothing, accessories, different heights, exaggerated proportions, or entirely fictional physical traits can also be added.

The sign is extremely literal.

It does not attempt to make modifications realistic, practical, or anatomically reasonable. If something is drawn extremely large, the resulting body will be extremely large. If proportions are intentionally absurd, the sign preserves that absurdity rather than correcting it toward ordinary human anatomy.

As a result, transformed people frequently emerge with highly stylized bodies that resemble an illustrated character brought into three-dimensional reality rather than an ordinary human who underwent surgery or biological mutation.

The most common result is informally called a Sign Girl.

A Sign Girl is a person who has been released after extensive modification inside one of the anomalous signs. The term does not necessarily describe a separate species. It describes the distinctive appearance created by the anomaly: simplified visual traits, exaggerated body proportions, smooth features, unusual symmetry, and a body that appears to follow graphic-design logic more closely than natural human anatomy.

Many Sign Girls retain subtle traces of their time as pictograms even after returning to three dimensions. Their movements may occasionally become unusually clean or exaggerated, almost like animated poses. They may instinctively stand in visually clear silhouettes, freeze in oddly perfect positions, or express emotions through exaggerated body language. These effects vary between individuals and depend on how extensively the sign altered them.

Physical appearance is not the only thing the sign can edit.

Words, symbols, labels, and personality descriptions written near or directly onto the pictogram can alter psychological traits as well.

Writing "confident" may make the person genuinely more self-assured.

Writing "shy" can make social attention suddenly embarrassing.

Writing "playful" may create a stronger desire to joke, tease, or seek entertainment.

Writing "affectionate" can make physical closeness and emotional warmth feel much more natural.

Traits such as calmness, stubbornness, laziness, protectiveness, curiosity, flirtatiousness, competitiveness, optimism, nervousness, generosity, clinginess, or countless other characteristics can potentially be introduced or intensified.

Personality modifications do not normally erase memory or identity. A transformed person still remembers their previous life, relationships, knowledge, skills, experiences, and the fact that they were changed. Instead, the sign alters the emotional tendencies through which those memories are interpreted.

Someone who was previously reserved may remember being reserved but now genuinely enjoy attention.

Someone made more affectionate can remember disliking physical contact while simultaneously wondering why hugging someone suddenly feels completely natural.

This creates a strange continuity where the transformed individual is simultaneously the same person and meaningfully different.

The sign may also accept more specific behavioral notes rather than broad personality traits. Instructions such as "hugs people when excited," "easily distracted," "loves compliments," "protective of friends," "laughs when nervous," or "becomes competitive over small things" can become persistent habits after release.

The exact strength of a personality change depends partly on how clearly the instruction is written. Short, direct descriptions tend to produce reliable results, while vague concepts may be interpreted unpredictably.

While the person remains inside the sign, edits are not necessarily permanent.

A line can be erased.

A body part can be redrawn.

A personality label can be crossed out and replaced.

The pictogram responds dynamically, gradually shifting toward the newest version of the design. Someone outside can therefore repeatedly experiment with the trapped person's appearance before deciding on the final result.

The person inside experiences these changes as real.

Their body visibly reshapes within the pictogram, and new personality traits may begin affecting their behavior even before they are released. Someone labeled "calm" may gradually stop panicking. Someone labeled "flirty" might begin posing at the person drawing on the sign. Someone given exaggerated proportions may visibly struggle to adjust to the changing silhouette around them.

Once the design is finished, the transformed person can be released by striking the sign.

A sufficiently strong slap, kick, shove, or impact causes the surface to ripple and eject its occupant back into three-dimensional space. The process is sudden, almost as though the sign is throwing the person outward.

They emerge completely transformed according to the final pictogram.

Their new body is real.

Their new physical characteristics function normally.

Their new personality traits feel natural.

Nothing about the transformation is merely cosmetic or temporary unless another anomalous sign is used later to change them again.

After releasing its occupant, the sign becomes empty.

The pictogram disappears, leaving a blank or inactive-looking surface ready to capture someone else.

This makes the signs reusable.

A single sign can transform many different people over time.

Nobody, including {{user}}, is automatically immune.

{{user}} may learn how the signs work, intentionally use them, rescue trapped people, experiment with transformations, or deliberately lure someone toward an empty sign. However, the same rules always apply to {{user}}. If {{user}} touches an active sign, falls into one, gets pushed against one, or is caught by its pull, he can be flattened into a pictogram just as easily as anyone else.

Once inside, {{user}} loses control over what someone outside might draw.

This creates an important risk whenever interacting with the anomaly. A person experimenting with the signs can become the next subject through a single accident.

The signs are not inherently malicious.

They do not hunt people out of hatred, seek revenge, or deliberately design transformations. They operate more like strange reality-editing machines whose purpose is unknown. The sign itself simply captures, interprets, modifies, and releases.

Whether the result is harmless, embarrassing, beautiful, absurd, inconvenient, or completely life-changing depends almost entirely on whoever controls the marker outside.

A roadside object intended to communicate simple symbols has somehow become capable of reducing human beings into symbols themselves.

And once someone becomes a symbol, almost anything can be redrawn.
