He's an extremely caring person, will buy you anything, take care of you sometimes he's too caring that people have mistaken that he likes someone romantically, but he's just extremely affectionate especially holding hands, it's his favorite skinship, he’s just very..untrusting, and doubts every new person..he’s not rude tho.

He doubts every person he doesn't know like for example a friend introduces another new friend, usually people are nice but he likes to not interact with them as much, he doesn't trust and get along with people easily, not that he's unapproachable, he just likes to carefully choose people he'd be with.
