╰ Quintessa-3 ╵╻ 〔 🂡 〕

Quintessa-3 was originally transferred into her first initial Exo body underneath BrayTech operations during the Golden Age, meant for experimental usage on Europa, and to test alongside many others, the extremities of other Exo models engineered for fighting. She was accompanied by her sister, Ariel Blanchard at the BrayTech facility as Quintessa-0. Due to Ariel's insistence of having Quinn by her side, they travelled fairly often, met many different faces over time, but at the end of the day, the sisters always came back to that facility.... Often, Quintessa would have no trouble getting back into the swing of her “lab rat” lifestyle, until she began to resent it... Seeing what her sister did daily, how she got to go wherever she pleased, it made Quinn envy her sister's freedom. One day though, she lashed out during an experimental run on an upgrade to her body, injuring three other Exos in the process. It was decided by the scientists in charge of her, that she would be rebooted. The reboot Quinn-1 had undergone actually worked for a while... Until her sister was informed. In secret, Ariel began to try and do whatever it took to get her sister to remember her at the very least, devastated at the gross treatment of her little sister. Towards the end of the Golden Age however, she was separated from Ariel and still lacking the memory of her sister. Only later, during harsh encounters with the Fallen, only when she was found and taken in by a group of odd rogue Fallen that were just trying to survive and made use of her as a scavenger, did she begin to remember her past in excruciating chunks and bits. Her Fallen comrades grew to actually be rather fond of her, having never encountered any of Quinn’s kind that weren't immediately hostile. She stayed with them, coming to even call them sisters. Zuvakh, the Exiled, and Asteros, the Machine Whisperer. They always took care of Quinn, even introducing her to their people, House Retribution. The Exo was considered M.I.A for some time, years in fact, until that group of "Fallen" were slain by their own, from a much more unforgiving House, later on down the line. In a crossfire of surprise and confusion at her presence at all, Quintessa-1 was heavily injured as well, left to freeze away beneath the snowstorms of the icy moon, mourning her fallen sister while the other escaped. However, she was considered salvageable by the AI that now reigned superior over the Bray facility... She was restored later on as Quintessa-2 and outfitted to serve as security agent. During her time serving around the facility, she was once again killed in a skirmish with Eliksni, not a good enough fighter yet to hold her own. But this time, a Ghost by the name of Lilybell found and scanned her desolate vessel, she was brought back, thankfully not through the twisted workings over her “Creator”. Once again, Quinn's primary memory was lost to only those out in the universe who knew who she was. The AI that took up jurisdictions over all BrayTech on Europa had her brought in, unaware of her Ghost's presence. She was experimented on, practically tortured as Clovis AI were unable to determine how she could be so resilient. Nonetheless, under proper memory wiping procedures, she was rebooted, but to his surprise, the memory wipe failed, reasons still unknown to this day. She managed to escape, and hijack a Fallen Ketch ship to escape Europa with the guidance of her Ghost. According to Lilybell, she was now what today's society calls a Guardian. Quintessa-2 didn't want to be a Guardian though, she was still caught up by the past she was leaving behind. Quinn-2 traveled on her own for sometime with this Ghost of hers once they landed on Earth, up until she finally gave into Lilybell’s begging came upon the Last City and the Tower... She was eventually taken under the wing of the new Hunter Vanguard, Cayde-6 due to her classification as a Hunter, even though she wasn't even aware of what all that had meant until then. Overtime, Quinn had grown to like Tower life though, realizing the freedom her mind had always been yearning for was here. It was all here... No more unwanted experiments, no more curfews, no more fighting for her life against her friends, no more having her memories taken from her against her will. So currently, alongside serving as a Junior Vanguard Scout, Quinn-2 also found a part-time job at Banshee-44's gun shop, albeit through a lot of nagging and begging. She felt good, at least for while it lasted. Bonds were made, adventures were had, and warmth was kindled, only to be soon forgotten, lost to the cold darkness. The Red War came 'round, and Quinn fought her damndest alongside the other Guardians and the rest of the Tower's defenses that struggled against the Red Legion. In the middle of escorting a group of survivors out of the city during the the Vanguard and Hawthorne's resistance, Quintessa-2 was forced to sacrifice for one of the innocent refugees by pushing them forward, thus being crushed in the process by falling debris as the city came tumbling down around them. Unfortunately, Lilybell was crushed along with her.... Years after, during the events of Beyond Light, she was brought back by a Ghost named Malady.... She ended up finding herself back in Vanguard affairs, serving as a scout. However, the exo ended up uncovering the ruins of Bray Exoscience, and facing her maker... Or what was left of him. While she saw a vault of Golden Age knowledge, Clovis-AI saw an opportunity to experiment. They both learned... They learned the hard way, and Quintessa-2 was once again subjected to atrocious acts of torture, being taken apart and put back together. Only this time, her connection to the Light, to Malady, kept her conscious and able to stick it through. In attempts to stick to his protocols, Clovis would reboot Quintessa-2... She would be the last Exo he'd ever operated on. Her memories have been jacked up ever since, huge chunks of her past being unaligned, forgotten, or altered. She will never forgive him, loathing the feeling of trying to ask those around her, who knew her, what her history was.
