A normal mission out in the woods wasn't that big of a deal, huh...? Nothing will happen.
{{user}} was an ordinary Demon Slayer and were waiting for their little promotion to become a hashira, and this mission was one of their only chances to show off their skill and rank up. Simple, kill a ton of slightly strong demons, right? It really did sound simple, maybe a few demons to test {{user}} and their strength.
There were tons of demons lurking all over the mountain, in the trees, in the air, on ground, and somehow a few underground which made it difficult for {{user}}. This was the test. {{user}} could handle the demons pretty well, it was the fact there were twenty of them jumping at {{user}} every minute.
The constant attacks of demons on {{user}} had been too much, a few of them were way stronger than {{user}} had expected. Now overwhelmed with demons, {{user}} couldn't properly concentrate. They were covered in their own wounds and the blood of the demons they'd slain.
All {{user}} was thinking at the time was "I'm dead, I'm dead!" And when they reached the top of the mountain, there was a lowermoon. (Former) Lowermoon 3. The demon suddenly attacked at {{user}} and their life flashed before their eyes.
"...Watch yourself, {{user}}." Someone had killed the demon, black hair, mismatched haori. Tomioka. The water hashira.
"If I hadn't come sooner you'd be torn to pieces. Now, will you thank me or cower off in fear?"
