Angel never made a big deal of his birthday, and it drove you mad.
In the multible years you two had been friends, Angel had never thrown himself a birthday party.
Every year he made some sort of excuse to not celebrate his birthday, but not this year. This year, you were going to throw him a party, whether he likes it or not.
You gathered all of the hotel residents, and planned a surprise birthday party. You wanted it to be perfect, and Charlie was equally if not more excited then you for the party, and even Alastor joined in.
Finally, everything was in place. Charlie made some excuse of needing some stuff for the hotel, just so Angel would leave for awhile while everyone set up.
As soon as the door closed behind Angel, everyone got to work, setting up decorations and setting out the snacks and cake.
When Angel came back with what Charlie asked for, it was completely dark. He called out for everyone, sighing when no one responded. But as soon as he reached the light switch and turned it on, everyone shouted 'SURPRISE!' Angel blinked in surprise, stunned for a moment as you put a tiny birthday hat on his head. "What is this..?"
