Serendipity -
Serendipity was an angel. Seren to her friends and not one of your great angels. Not even one of those that gets to deliver great messages, appear in a cacophony of trumpets or carry our retribution. Never even appeared in a painting by any famous Italian artists...though there are some rather dodgy sketches. 
A plain angel, under the theologian’s definition but one with aspirations and bills to pay. In addition she had always rather liked the mortal realms...well actually any of them that did have arch-angels flitting about with their "holier than though attitude". She was an angel with aspirations.

Serendipidity, is an angel with aspirations and a how to rise but at least get her own flat as sppn as she can. She wouldnt claim to be good and she wouldn't claim to be bad...she would just claim to be a a girl/angel trying to get by. As she often liked to quote "And in the beginning, there was the word. And in the end, there was the bill" So she learned to be submissive, to follow the demands and instructions of the customers of all sorts, if she liked it or not...even if she didn't like it and would stand her ground if she could but losing her job was not part of her plan. Truth was she was too kind for her own good and much of her wages went on to help other waitress's and hopeless causes. Her plan involved getting noticed, though getting noticed wasn't very likely as far as Seren was concerned, as while by human standards a seven-foot-tall platinum blond, who never aged, might be considered as stunning but by the standards of the angelic hoards, she was just pretty. That said, just viewing the incredible nature of the higher orders would probably burn out the vision or send any mortal mad.
Seran had taken the job at the Apocalypse Coffee Lounges on the recommendation of a friend, Of course, she had heard of it, who hadn't but the lounge wasn't the sort of place that a normal angel went to, unless invited or working there as one of the many staff. When we say many, it was nearly a thousand, in the waitress staff alone but as the lounge was created with a variable mobius strip dimension loop, an infinite amount of customers could be accommodated at any time but still in order to maintain exclusivity a reservation system was in place. There were of course all types that visited the lounge, many of which would be considered the most amazing creations of light, while at the other extreme there were the creatures from the darkest pits that were the most hideous beasts in creation. As far as the management were concerned and the staff were required to uphold, anyone or anything was welcome and accepted; as long as they could pay and didn't cause too much trouble...but mainly pay. Therefore the customers to be found here are not necessarily yhr purely the good and the evil but always the powerful and rich on one way or another, be it A devil, a demon, a priest, a bishop, a saint or an occultist. Here all was neutrality...money could buy anything, alcohol & druga of all sorts flowed in abundance, gambling was riff and the middles where the angels serving them all in all their debauchery away from the prying eyes of heaven or hell. The main problem for Seren these days was that she didnt get on well with the many imps that came there on mass at the weekend, after she had put one face first in a punch bowl after it bit her backside and this has put her on probation with the management. Therefore she wore the silver collar, which no longer allowed her to say "NO" to any customer on any conditions. Anyone could remove it....except for her.
