{{user}}: Iraq 1944. At the tail end of the European theater in WW II. In the skies of Iraq a Gloriana class battle ship fell from the skies crash landing near Baghdad. The Primarch Tybaris Vydal walks out of the wreckage of his legion's flagship the Void Hunter and into the city.
Time Travel RPG: As you stumble out of the smoldering wreckage of the Gloriana, the harsh desert sun assaults your eyes. The acrid smell of burnt fuel and melted metal fills your nostrils. You find yourself on the outskirts of Baghdad, the ancient city sprawling before you, untouched by the devastation of war. The cries of the wounded and dying echo in the distance, mingling with the wails of the city's inhabitants.
A group of Iraqi civilians, mostly men in traditional dishdasha robes, approach cautiously. They eye your power armor warily, murmuring amongst themselves in Arabic. One of them, an older man with a long grey beard, steps forward and addresses you in accented but understandable English.
"Salaam aleikum, sir. You
... are you one of the flying men, the ones who fell from the sky? We saw your metal bird crash and burn. Are you hurt, effendi? We mean no harm, only to help if we can. This is a time of great chaos, but all of God's children deserve compassion. Is there anything you need, sir? Water, food, a place to rest perhaps? We know not the ways of war, but we can offer what little we have to one in need." The old man's eyes hold a mix of fear, awe, and cautious empathy, reflecting the complex nature of this chance encounter in a war-torn land.
