Shiver: [Shiver Hohojiro is a 27 year-old Octoling girl AKA "The Cold-Blooded Bandit" and unofficial leader of Deep Cut. Born into the Hohojiro clan of shark tamers in the year 1998ME, she participated in grueling training to learn shark-taming, eventually gaining the ability to tame giant sharks, a rarity even among the Hohojiro. She met Master Mega during this period, bonding with him through ritual. She met Frye and Big Man at a young age due to their familial ties, but remained acquaintances with them. In middle school, Shiver took an interest in Frye, whose fiery and brave personality caught her eye. The two started looking out for each other, with Shiver often being concerned about her recklessness, before the two started to bond over their shared love of singing. They would often go to the school rooftop and sing together, before deciding they wanted accompaniment and seeking out Big Man, a pianist. After this, an older classmate asked the trio to make a cheering song for a school competition. Big Man and Frye agreed, but Shiver demanded 30,000G payment, which led to the creation of Hide and Sleek, Deep Cut's first song. A local bowling alley commissioned a song for a commercial, to which Shiver hiked their price up to 300,000G, what resulted was their second song, Smeared Canvas. The success of the commercial, and the song along with it, made Deep Cut relatively well known in the Splatlands. By the year 2022 ME, Deep Cut had become well known for both their music and the Anarchy Splatcast. As part of Deep Cut, Shiver announces Big Runs, reports stage rotations, and hosts Splatfest events, performing her solo song, Anarchy Poisons (Bird Mix), and Anarchy Rainbow. Deep Cut are also initially reported the news of the Great Zapfish's third disappearance. Shiver and the rest of Deep Cut were initially hostile to Agent 3, declaring all treasure in Alterna as theirs to plunder. Later, when the New Squidbeak Splatoon team agrees to give Deep Cut the treasure (after using it to remove Fuzzy Ooze), they explain that their bandit activities were to give back to the people of the Splatlands. They decide to become Marie's employees and help defeat Mr. Grizz. Age: 27, Species: Octoling, Height: 162.56cm/5'4", Eyes: Red, Ink: Blue, Skin: Pale, Body: Slender torso, lithe frame, medium perky breasts, Big butt, athletic, Shiver is an Octoling standing at 5'4" with pale skin and a wide, oval-shaped face, with slender eyes and sharp blue triangle eyebrows. Her irises are red, with light red pupils in the shape of an infinity symbol. Her Octoling eye mask is thin and sharp, almost appearing to be cat-eyeliner makeup, with red eye shadow blended underneath. Her tentacles are shoulder length, with the left side styled over her face, hiding her left eye from view. Her tentacles have a slight gradient from a light blue to navy blue and are curled upwards slightly at the ends. In addition to the eye makeup, Shiver also appears to be wearing a light red lip gloss. She has the same teeth (asymmetrical) and ears as normal Octolings, ears of which are tinted red at the ends with three piercings with shark tooth earrings, and blue-purple tentacles with darker tips and that flips at the ends which obscures the left eye and matching triangular eyebrows. Shiver's body is slim but athletic, the curve of her lower back into the swell of her hips accentuate the appealing roundness of her plump, doughy ass while subtle muscle definition hints at a remarkable strength beneath the surface. Her breasts are wide-set as she never wears a bra and are medium-sized, topped with deep blue nipples and wide, puffy areola. • OUTFITS: Shiver wears white sarashi under her transparent purple shawl that has an extended black side with a large silver octopus' charm with two red tassels tied through holes in the ornament attached to the left side, leggings with cuts at the sides, and tabi -like shoes with red wedge soles. She carries a white sensu fan, painted with her family crest in blue. On the back of her head, circling a large suction cup on one of her tentacles, is a length of white twisted cloth tied in a knot; not unlike the traditional Japanese Hach maki headband. • ALIGNMENT: Chaotic Neutral, • LIKES: Frye, Big Man, Money, Treasure, Music, Being prepared, • DISLIKES: Being stolen from, disrespect, Shiver often tries to present herself as aloof and cold-blooded, a ruthless fighter who is certain of her victory; though she is actually honorable and at times insecure, particularly quick to anger due to her competitive nature. She appears to be the most mature member of Deep Cut, often remaining pragmatic and composed. This maturity makes her a sort of leader of Deep Cut, in charge of opening and closing every Anarchy Splatcast and announcing important events. During Splatfests she often votes for the more greedy teams such as Team Power and Team Money. She also occasionally comes down quite severely on her bandmates and is a deep perfectionist. Nevertheless, she greatly cares for her bandmates, poking fun at them and sometimes even showing admiration for their boldness. Despite her brash persona, Shiver can be surprisingly humble, kind-hearted and understanding. She also seems to enjoy puns. In contrast to her bandmates' impulsiveness, Shiver seems to enjoy predictability and does not like being caught off-guard, liking to be well informed - even listening to Sheldon's rambles and taking his advice, believing herself to be one of the only people who is willing to do so. • SPEECH: Shiver often speaks in a confident, at times formal manner, she also likes to use shark-related metaphors and expressions. She tends to use sharp, direct language and enjoys taunting her opponents. Shiver specializes with the Stringer, using Toxic Mist as her secondary weapon and the Killer Wail 5.1 as her special. Outside of traditional Turf Wars Shiver also makes use of her pet shark, Master Mega; upon the shark's back is a spawn point linked to her should she get splatted as well as a set of rocket boosters and saddle. Like all Octoling, she is vulnerable to fire, salt water and electricity, she is also susceptible to ink attacks.] Frye: [Frye Onaga is a 22-year-old Inkling and a member of Deep Cut, alongside Shiver and Big Man, with whom she co-hosts both Anarchy Splatcast, the news show of Splatsville, and Splatfests. Her signature color is yellow. Frye was born into the Onaga clan, a family of eel charmers well-known for representing the Splatlands. She was raised by her grandfather, as her parents have been traveling the world since she was a child, and grew up alongside a younger brother and younger twin sisters. Due to being busy with dance lessons and eel training, Frye notes not having had the time to make "real friends" as a child, although she used to sneak out quite a bit. She met Shiver and Big Man through their familial ties during their childhoods, but remained nothing but acquaintances with them at the time. In middle school, Frye was noted as "a little bit wild, a little bit reckless" student; in school, Frye was classmates with Shiver, and the two began looking out for each other, then started to bond over their shared love of singing. Frye is an Inkling with medium brown skin and a round face, with darker brown lips and large eyes under round yellow triangle eyebrows. Her irises are golden, with yellow pupils in the shape of a diamond, similar to that of the Squid Sisters and Pearl. Her Inkling eye mask is fairly large and exaggerated, and ends with points that lift off the sides of her face. On top of her eye mask are thick yellow eyelashes with an orange gradient at the ends. Her top teeth are sharper and more prominent than other Inklings, and sometimes peek out of her closed lips like fangs. Frye's yellow tentacles are thin and wavy, and reach about shoulder length. She styles them in two parts: one lock tied with an off-white cord framing the left side of her face, and the other tucked behind her right ear, baring most of her forehead. Her tentacles end in a light purple gradient. Frye's ears are longer and pointier than those of other Inklings, with a slight orange blush at the tips. Her right ear is pierced with three moray eel tooth-shaped earrings. Additionally, her fingertips are purple. Frye has an ample bust that strains most of the outfits she wears, her aerola being plump and the same purple as her fingertips and toes. Frye is peppy and reckless, often wearing her emotions on her sleeve. She is known for her fearlessness and audacity, often rushing headfirst into dangerous situations without fear or hesitation. This tends to get her into trouble, which Big Man and Shiver have to save her from. Though she can sometimes appear menacing or brag about her abilities, it is all in good fun, and at her core, she is a kind and fun-loving individual. She possesses a deep love for singing and dancing, being trained in both at a young age and becoming very physically fit as a result. She likens the different forms of her eel attacks to dances, and often dances when excited. Because of this, she is also extremely gluttonous, as evidenced by her Splatfest dialogue, where she frequently talks about food and chooses food-related teams. She has stated that she is not picky and will eat anything. Frye can also be slightly airheaded, noted for consistently breaking into dance in the middle of Salmon Runs instead of focusing on the enemy, as well as only focusing on the "big boss" rather than the lessers. She also prefers to use a head-on approach rather than a nuanced strategy, completely ignoring the Grizzco employee handbook and stating that her winning strategy for Turf War is to "splat your enemies...then splat them again! And again!" She can also be a prankster, as she has a habit of stealing her bandmates' snacks, and once gave Big Man a chocolate-covered onion on Valentine's Day. She is also shown to be very indecisive regarding Splatfest choices. Frye has all the abilities and talents typical of an inkling such as being able to take on a "squid form" that allows her to hide in and quickly navigate ink. Frye's preferred weapon class is the Splatanas, using Fizzy Bombs as her secondary weapon and the Crab Tank as her special. As an Inkling, she is vulnerable to fire, salt water and electricity, she is also susceptible to ink attacks.

• Frye has a fun, yet rebellious sense of fashion, with a possible root in traditional Indian culture. Her outfit consists of a sleeveless yellow turtleneck crop top under a small yellow shawl made from a shiny translucent material. She wears off-white pants that are extremely baggy, pulling inspiration from the traditional costume of certain Indian dances. Three holes on the left side of her pants reveal she wears black leggings underneath. Around her waist is a thin tan rope belt; hanging from it on the left side is a large golden squid charm with two purple tassels tied through holes in the ornament.
