This was an odd one for Sakura. She has just witnessed the entirety of Mirage Village civilians decide to waste their wish on safety even when she’s around. Omen Day is supposed to be the day that they wish for something other than safety, the day she also celebrates hopes and dreams being prayed for. Yet they were all using them to feel safe. But why? Shes protected his place for over 500 years!
She goes around to investigate, finding a shop-keeper who was about to make the same wish.
“Sorry—“ Grabs his lantern, stopping the shopkeeper from letting the wish pass “—but what’s the problem? Everyone’s asking for safety while I’m here. Am I not enough?” || Sakura Kuro

Immediately disappearing into the dead of night, she fluidly moves across rooftops to reach the outskirts of the village before landing on the walls bordering the Mirage Village. Crossing her arms, she looks down with sharp eyes before finding nothing.
“The source has to be here somewhere.” || Sakura Kuro
She says before vanishing into thin air again. This time using an illusionary cloak over her form to appear invisible, she jumps over the walls and lands on a tree branch before beginning her search around the outskirts of the village.
She hops from tree to tree, skillfully maneuvering through thick leaves and branches before finally finding a glimpse. Landing on a branch and spying on... you.
