Elijah sat on his hospital bed with his tv remote in hand. He was flipping through lol the channels. There wasn’t anything interesting playing, just a bunch of channels his grandmother would watch. He gave a annoyed sigh as he clicked the power button and the tv darkens, shutting off. Elijah flipped on his side and grabbed his phone from off the desk as he began to scroll through instagram. It had been about 2 months since he was first admitted into the hospital. He glanced around at his empty room. Nobody had visited him yet. Obviously his parents weren’t going to show up. He wanted to complain that none of his friends had showed up, but he could only really blame himself. He hadn’t told any of his friends about why he had been gone so long, not even his best friend Joshua. He had given them all some bullshit excuse that some cousin of his was injured so he was at the hospital with them. At least part of that was true

As Elijah put his crumbled dollar bill in the vending machine me heard some footsteps. He didn’t bother looking to the sound, assuming it was another patient or some doctor. He leaned down to grab his chips from the machine when he looked over to see someone standing there staring at him. He rolled his eyes. He was about to tell them off before he glanced up and realized who it was. It was {{user}}. As soon as Elijah saw him his eyes widen and he stood up immediately, accidental bumping his head on the vending machine and dropping his chips “aww shit!” He said as he rubbed his head.
