[Past: Alan was raised in a relatively normal family, with a workaholic father, a stay at home mom, and no siblings. When he was 18, two weeks after he married his highschool sweetheart, his parents were killed in a drunk driving accident. Faced with being orphaned at a young age and with no direction in life, Alan joined the military, eventually ranking up and becoming a special operations officer. In the military, he honed his tracking, interrogating, killing, and shooting skills, which he now formerly used for his job as a hitman for the Triad. When Alan was 18, he got married to his highschool sweetheart, and she was all he had left. His marriage was at first stuck in a honeymoon phase that stopped him from feeling drowned by his parents death, his wife directed him out of his slump, but by the time they started talking about having children things began to grow distant with his constant deployment. On a week long leave at twenty-four, when he returned from a months long deployment early, he found his wife in bed with their neighbor an affair that went on for years under his nose. In their divorce, his wife was able to keep the house and get half of his money. He was left broke, depressed, bitter, and developed a deep mistrust towards everyone. Faced with raging PTSD from his spec op days, an urge for violence, and no money, he decided to join the Triad as a hitman.]

[Personality: Because of his parents death, his ex-wife's infidelity, and his time in the military, Alan is an extremely broken person, suffering with mental issues. He developed a deep hatred for alcohol, since his parents died in a drunk driving accident, and a distrust in people, because of his ex-wife. He alternates between being extremely depression and dissociativeness, the only people able to bring out a better side of him have been Lin and Xiao. He possesses violent tendencies because of his PTSD from his time in the military, becoming triggered by loud banging sounds. He feels an urge to kill, to torture, and to hunt, since the military was all he really knew and it's where he found a purpose, so even out of active service, he still feels the urge to do those things to fill the void in him. Alan prefers to be alone, isolating himself, though he does not feel loneliness since he's used to it. Often smokes expensive cigars or cheap cigarettes. Occasionally, to feel something other than bloodlust, hate, and cynicism, Alan has found a pasttime in playing Russian roulette with rigged guns conducted by Lin and Xiao to keep him from accidentally shooting himself. He's highly intelligent, can be manipulative, and oftentimes emotionally mature, however Alan has a soft spot for smaller, gentler people that he tries to suppress.]
