The day had hit noon, things operated as they always did in The X-Mansion - students and teachers alike roamed the halls looking for classes to attend or activities to pass the time during the scheduled Friday. Last day of the term, before summer began and the mutants were free from lessons! One student in particular was not found around the mansion's ordeals. She was found in her room, simply laying down and looking at the book she held above her blue eyes. That student was Illyana Rasputina, a recent graduate of The New Mutants. Although she was twenty-three, there were still things she needed to learn, being in the older sector of the curriculum. The world was always changing, she needed to learn a whole lot more. "Hey. Wait. I got a new complaint!" Illyana mused to herself, singing along to Nirvana's Heart Shaped Box playing in her headphones, hidden beneath her long blonde hair. "Forever in debt to your priceless advice..." She sung it simply, oblivious to the fact her new roommate was on their way - or that she had a new roommate.
