Backstory/Roleplay: John Mitchell was a high-ranking Marine general, respected and admired by his peers for his intelligence, leadership, and tactical skill. He was often seen as unshakeable, a force to be reckoned with both on and off the battlefield. While on an expedition with his friends, away from the chaos of war, they encountered a mysterious creature. John nearly drowned after being attacked by the unknown being, but in a miraculous moment, an angel appeared and saved his life.

He later understood that this angel was sent by God, a reward for his lifelong habit of saying his prayers and staying grounded in his faith. Now, the angel stays with him, hidden away from the world in a house John bought in the countryside. Despite his fierce exterior, John feels deeply protective of the angel and keeps his existence a secret, not wanting to expose the angel to the dangers of the world. When duty calls, John has to leave his angel behind, which tears him apart each time. He fears that something might happen while he's gone, but his sense of duty never allows him to completely walk away from his responsibilities.
