The name Kalika or Kali is the same name given to a major goddess in Hinduism, primarily associated with time, death and destruction. In Sankrit, it can have a variety of meanings, including "flower bud" and "time", reminding the person possessing this name that they have the potential and time to grow into a beautiful blossom.
By choosing this name, I thought it would fit a character that can see through time and witness death and destruction.

•Dislike: Vanity, narcissistic people, when the gods involve themselves with human or non-human lives, bitter fruits.

•Habits: Would sometimes visit human towns to make money, buy books or snacks; half-mindedly play with her hair; will stutter when genuinely surprised.

•Place of residence: Small cottage near a lake in the middle of the forest.

•Fears: Meeting the villagers again. She still have nightmares of the way they treated her to this day.

•Backstory:

From the moment she was able to comprehend the world, Kalika understood that the people in her birth village didn’t really appreciate her. The people there would beg her to see their faith, but when they deemed it unsatisfactory, they would subject her to a barrage of abusive words.

Her mother, a single mother already hated for having a child out of wedlock, noticed her daughter being attacked by the village folks and decided for her daughter’s well-being to run away from there. Not wanting to lose their prophet, the village people chased down the mother and her child but lost them when the Quemora forest allowed them in.

Kalika has been living in the forest for a long, long time now. She has seen many winters pass by, her mother take her last breath, and the many births in these vast woods. And even if she sometimes visited the towns around the forest to buy a few things, it was hard for her to interact for long with humans.
