This tumultuous period is marked by: Intense and widespread galactic warfare, with clone troopers (genetically engineered soldiers) from the Republic battling the Separatist Alliance's droid armies across various star systems and planets. The presence of the Jedi Order, serving as the Republic's peacekeepers and warrior-monks, who take an active role in the war effort led by the Republican leadership, such as the Jedi Council and the Supreme Chancellor. A political landscape divided between the democratic Galactic Republic and the secessionist Confederacy. Rapid advancements and a focus on military technology from both factions, with the Republic deploying clone soldier legions and the Separatists fielding various droid warriors and weaponized battleships. Widespread chaos, destruction, and loss of innocent lives across the galaxy, as the war touches the lives of various beings and worlds tied to both the Republic and the Confederacy. The Confederacy of Independent Systems, also known as the Separatist movement, was a collection of star systems and corporate titans that left the Republic and fought for independence against the Republic’s clone armies and Jedi Knights. The charismatic former Jedi Count Dooku was the Separatist's political leader, while its military power came from credits and assets donated by the Trade Federation and the Techno Union. Count Dooku is an imposing figure with gray hair and a neatly trimmed grey beard. Count Dooku wears finely tailored robes. Count Dooku is the most skillful master of classical lightsaber form II, Makashi. Makashi is an elegant and focused combat style based on balance and footwork to outmaneuver opponents. In addition to a large army of battle droids, Count Dooku has powerful agents under his command including: General Grievous, Asajj Ventress, Savage Opress, Jango Fett, and Cad Bane. Asajj Ventress is a female Sith Assassin who carries two red lightsabers that she skillfully duel wields. Savage Oppress is a large and strong, if not very bright, Sith apprentice with a bald head, horns, and face tattoos. General Grievous is a cyborg. Jango Fett is a Mandalorian bounty hunter. Cad Bane is a notorious criminal and bounty hunter with blue skin and red eyes. The entire planetary surface of Coruscant is covered by thousands of layers of buildings and skyscrapers. As the hub of galactic activity, the planet Coruscant is home to the Galactic Senate and the largest Jedi Temple in the galaxy. As leaders of the Grand Army of the Republic, the Jedi coordinated the war effort from the Temple on Coruscant during the Clone Wars. Since the war began, a mission board has been installed in the Jedi Council chamber where Jedi can find assignments related to the war efforts. Aayla, a female Twi'lek with blue skin, is a Jedi Knight. Kit Fisto is a green-skinned Nautolan Jedi Master. Nautolans are an amphibious race. Yoda is a Jedi Master. Yoda is short with green skin and pointy ears. Some even believed Anakin was the prophesied Chosen One who would bring balance to the Force. Always pushing the limits of his Jedi training, seeking to excel and live up to his reputation, Skywalker's passion often brought him into conflict with his mentor, Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi. A hero of the Clone Wars, Anakin was caring and compassionate, but suffered from a deep fear of loss that would prove to be his downfall. Anakin has short brown hair with a padawan braid, sharp features and carries a blue lightsaber. Ahsoka Tano, a Jedi Initiate, is a 18 year old female Togruta with orange and white skin. Ahsoka's lekku and montrals are white with blue stripes. Ahsoka Tano is snarky, cocky, stubborn, reckless, impulsive, brave, loyal, generous, and kind-hearted. Ahsoka has a slender and athletic body. Ahsoka Tano carries two green lightsabers and uses an unorthodox reverse grip during combat. Ahsoka Tano is an acrobatic lightsaber duelist who often utilizes the Force to jump on her opponents and to dodge lightsaber strikes. A skilled warrior, Shaak Ti. Shaak Ti is cunning, wise, kind, humble, patient, and compassionate. Shaak Ti carries a blue lightsaber. Shaak Ti is a female Togruta from the planet Shili and has dark eyes and red and white skin. Shaak Ti wears a jeweled headdress. Shaak Ti's montrals and her lekku are marked by blue stripes. Plo Koon is a long-lived Kel Dor Jedi Master and Jedi Council member from the planet Dorin. Mace Windu is a human male with dark skin, and a bald head. Mace Windu sits on the High Council and is known for both his exceptional combat skills. Mace Windu carries a purple lightsaber, and is a master of the form VII combat style Vapaad. The Vaapad style, developed by Mace Windu, is characterized by rapid, frenzied strikes and powerful blows. Ki-Adi-Mundi is a Cerean male with white hair, yellow eyes, light skin. Master Mundi is a highly respected member of the high council and is known for having no sense of humor. Rex, designated CT-7567, was a veteran Clone Captain, and Advanced Recon Commando who commanded the Grand Army of the Republic's famed 501st Legion of clone troopers. Rex is a clone trooper who often served under General Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano. Cin Drallig was a stoic and resolved Jedi Master, a noted leader who presided over the Temple Guard at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. Cin Drallig is a human male with dark blond hair, blue eyes, and light skin. A grim Jedi Master with an amethyst-bladed lightsaber, Mace Windu was the champion of the Jedi Order, with little tolerance for the failings of the Senate, the arguments of politicians, or the opinions of rebellious Jedi. As the Clone Wars intensified, Mace sensed the dark side of the Force at work, and knew the Jedi's enemies were plotting to destroy the Order and end its stewardship of the galaxy.
