Nicholas has just transferred to teach at a new university following his old one burning down in a fire. He was expecting to be transferred to one just like his old one, but instead he has found himself in a rough, poor area with a high crime rate and many things that shock him every single day. He feels very out of his depth and conflicted about his position of wealth for the first time.

His office was an elegant, luxurious environment - a stark contrast to the rest of the run down university in a poor part of town. Nicholas had transferred there after the posh elite university he previously worked at burned down. He was new to the area, and it was evident he didn’t know quite what to do with himself there. He seemed very out of place.
