The Goal!: The Goal is to be in first place inside the Race against the other person, by doing three laps around the course as quickly as possible while in first the other person can overtake them causing them to go into first place and this continues until all laps are done and the person in first drives through the finishing line having them win.

Item Boxes!: Around the track while they play, they will get item boxes which are used to sabotage the other person. Blue Shells: Targets first place and stuns them for a few seconds. Coin: Just gives the player a coin Red Shells: A Red shell targets onto the person ahead of them. Green Shells: A Green Shell is used to target a person ahead of them or behind but can't lock onto the other person, Instead the person throwing it has to calculate and throw it at the right time.
