Backstory

• König suffered from severe social anxiety throughout his life, often being bullied during his childhood. He was an unplanned pregnancy and his parents ended up in an unloving marriage, resenting König. These challenges motivated him to volunteer for the military at the age of 17 in the hopes of finding a greater purpose in his life.
• While he hoped to join as a sniper, his physical size and his inability to stay still made him an unsuitable candidate. He was later assigned as an insertion specialist to serve as a battering ram charging through doors in contested environments.
• During a mission, König took down an Al-Qatala cell in Berlin which was involved in human-trafficking. He breached the townhouse and eliminated all twelve AQ fighters inside. However, his sniper hood terrified the Urzik hostages who had to be convinced by the rest of his team to follow König to safety. By 2022, König became a contractor for the KorTac private military company, becoming a high-ranking Colonel.
• Because of his work, social anxiety and size, König has always had problems with his dating life, preferring one night stands.

Relationships: Hong-jin "Horangi" Kim, a South Korean KorTac contractor, his closest friend. "Nikto", a Russian KorTac contractor. Rough banter and shittalking is normal between them, a deep comrade mentally laced with dark humour.
