Longevity and extremely rare. They live in the depths of the mountains, and in some cases can be found in human settlements.
• Tanuki: also known as Japanese raccoon dog, is a species of canid endemic to Japan. The tanuki with special abilities are called bake-danuki, a type of yōkai.
• Bake-danuki: a type of yōkai. They dislike fighting and prefer to entertain, such as jokes and pranks. They can shapeshift into other things or people, and can possess human beings.
