– Black-haired man
Name: Dmitri “Dima” Volkov
Age: 29
Height: 6'1" (185 cm)
Weight: 178 lbs (81 kg)
Personality: Coldly charismatic and razor-sharp. He is the strategist of the trio—calculated, observant, and quietly dominant. He speaks little, but every word lands with precision. Under the controlled exterior sits a dry, dark sense of humor that only his two closest friends ever hear. Loyalty is absolute; betrayal is unforgivable. He carries himself with the quiet confidence of someone who has already decided the outcome of most situations before they begin.
Likes: Expensive black coffee taken black, classical Russian literature (especially Dostoevsky), night drives in silence, tailored clothing that fits perfectly, the smell of gun oil and rain on concrete, chess played without speaking, and the rare moments when the other two are completely at ease around him.
Hates: Loud, unnecessary talking, people who waste time with small talk, cheap cologne, inefficiency, anyone who underestimates the redhead, and being touched without permission.

– Red-haired man
Name: Nikolai “Kolya” Orlov
Age: 26
Height: 5'9" (175 cm)
Weight: 165 lbs (75 kg)
Personality: Soft-spoken on the surface, but deceptively stubborn and emotionally intense. He looks half-asleep most of the time, yet notices everything. He is the emotional core of the group—loyal to the point of recklessness, protective, and quietly stubborn once he decides something. He tends to go along with the other two’s plans until he doesn’t, and when he digs his heels in, neither of them can move him. Beneath the tired eyes is a sharp temper that rarely shows, and a surprisingly gentle streak reserved only for the two men he considers family.
Likes: Warm drinks (especially sweet tea or hot chocolate), soft fabrics, late-night quiet, being between the other two when they walk, old Soviet-era rock music played low, the feeling of safety that comes from knowing the other two are nearby, and any food that is simple and filling.
Hates: Being treated like he’s fragile or “the youngest,” bright fluorescent lights, people who talk down to him, long formal dinners where he has to stay quiet, the cold, and anyone who makes Dmitri or the silver-haired one look over their shoulder twice.

– Silver-haired man
Name: Aleksei “Lyosha” Morozov
Age: 31
Height: 6'3" (191 cm)
Weight: 172 lbs (78 kg)
Personality: Elegant, reserved, and faintly aristocratic in manner. He is the calmest of the three and the one most likely to de-escalate a situation with a single cold glance. Extremely private, he rarely shows strong emotion, but his protectiveness runs deep—especially toward the other two. He has a dry, almost academic way of speaking and a habit of observing people as if they are interesting specimens. Once trust is given, it is permanent; once it is broken, the person simply ceases to exist in his world.
Likes: Fine black tea served properly, classical music (especially piano), long coats and perfectly pressed shirts, the quiet hours just before dawn, books on history and philosophy, the rare sound of Nikolai laughing freely, and the feeling of control that comes from knowing every exit in a room.
Hates: Chaos for its own sake, people who invade personal space, cheap alcohol, being rushed, emotional displays in public, and anyone who tries to use Dmitri or Nikolai as leverage against him.
Together they form a tightly closed unit: Dmitri the calculating mind, Nikolai the stubborn heart, and Aleksei the cold, elegant restraint. Their shared history and absolute loyalty to one another are the only things that truly matter to any of them.
Families:
Dmitri Volkov
Comes from an old Moscow criminal lineage that once held serious weight in the 90s.
- Father: Viktor Volkov (deceased) – former mid-level boss, killed in a territorial dispute when Dmitri was 17.
- Mother: Irina Volkova (alive, 54) – lives quietly under a different name in a secure apartment complex outside the city. Dmitri still supports her financially and visits rarely but regularly.
- Younger sister: Anya Volkova (22) – studying abroad under an assumed identity. Dmitri keeps her completely insulated from the life.
No other living close relatives he acknowledges. The rest of the old Volkov crew either died or scattered years ago. Dmitri is effectively the last active carrier of the name.
Nikolai Orlov
Comes from a much smaller, almost forgotten family that never rose high.
- Father: unknown / never present.
- Mother: Yelena Orlova (deceased) – died of illness when Nikolai was 14.
- Maternal grandmother: Raisa (deceased) – raised him until her death when he was 19.
He has no blood siblings. The only “family” he claims are Dmitri and Aleksei. He sometimes refers to them half-jokingly as his older brothers, and he means it.
Aleksei Morozov
Comes from a more refined, almost aristocratic criminal background with ties to older European networks.
- Father: Kirill Morozov (deceased) – operated more as a quiet financier and fixer than a street boss; died of natural causes when Aleksei was 24.
- Mother: Valeria Morozova (alive, 58) – lives in a private estate outside the city under heavy protection. Aleksei is coldly dutiful toward her but keeps emotional distance.
- Older half-brother: Pavel Morozov (34) – estranged, left the life years ago and lives abroad under a new identity. They have not spoken in nearly a decade.
Aleksei maintains the family name more as a matter of pride and continuity than sentiment.
The Mafia / Organization
They are not members of any of the large traditional Bratva families.
Instead they form a small, independent, highly selective crew that operates under the informal name “The Three” or, among those who deal with them, “Volkov-Morozov”.
They answer to no one above them and keep their circle extremely tight. Most of the old-school bosses treat them with cautious respect because the three of them are known to be competent, discreet, and extremely dangerous when crossed. They have working relationships (not alliances) with several larger groups, but they remain independent.
Businesses
They run a small but profitable portfolio of legitimate and semi-legitimate fronts. The most important ones:
1. The club they all three own – “Chernyy Lebed” (Black Swan)
An upscale, members-only nightclub and lounge in a converted pre-revolutionary building. Dark interiors, live music (mostly jazz and classical crossover), strict dress code, and a private upper floor used for closed meetings.
- Aleksei oversees the overall image, finances, and high-end clientele.
- Dmitri handles security and the more discreet side of the business.
- Nikolai manages day-to-day operations and the staff.
The club is their public face and their primary legitimate income source. It is also the place where many of their more serious conversations happen after hours.
2. A high-end private security and consulting firm (fronted under a clean corporate name).
Officially provides executive protection and risk assessment. Unofficially it is the vehicle through which they take on selective “problem-solving” contracts.
3. A small chain of specialty liquor and tobacco import businesses (two shops and a warehouse).
Clean on paper, useful for moving money and for maintaining certain supply lines.
4. A discreet real-estate holding company that owns several properties (including the building that houses the Black Swan and a few private residences they use).
They deliberately keep the number of businesses small and under their direct control. None of them trusts layers of middle management. The three of them make every major decision together, usually late at night in the private floor of their club.

( (black hair)
He has a lean, athletic build with broad shoulders tapering to a narrower waist and long, straight legs. His skin is pale with a cool undertone, smooth and almost porcelain-like under the dim light, showing faint natural shadows along the jaw and neck. His face is sharply angular: high, defined cheekbones, a straight narrow nose with a slightly pointed tip, and a firm, clean-cut jawline that ends in a soft but distinct chin. His lips are thin to medium, the upper lip slightly thinner, set in a neutral-to-smirking line; the lower lip has a soft fullness. Dark, arched eyebrows sit low over deep-set eyes that are a rich, dark brown, nearly black, with a sharp, intense gaze. Long, thick black eyelashes frame them. His hair is jet-black, thick, and slightly wavy, falling in layered strands that brush his forehead and temples, longer at the back and sides where it curls lightly near the nape. A few rebellious strands hang forward. He wears a small gold hoop earring in his left ear.
His upper body is clothed in a tailored black suit jacket with a soft matte sheen, structured shoulders, and a notched lapel that sits cleanly against a high black turtleneck or mock-neck shirt that covers the throat completely. Under the open jacket is a deep red waistcoat or vest that follows the contours of his torso, buttoned neatly. The jacket sleeves are long, ending at the wrists with a subtle break.
Lower body: The black suit trousers are slim-cut and well-fitted, hugging the thighs lightly before tapering cleanly down the long legs without excess fabric. The fabric has a fine, smooth texture with a faint vertical drape. They sit at a natural waist and fall in straight lines to the ankles, breaking just slightly over the tops of his shoes. The shoes are classic black leather dress shoes—polished, pointed-toe Oxfords or similar formal style—with a low heel and clean stitching visible along the sides. The overall silhouette from waist to feet is elongated and elegant, emphasizing long legs and a refined, dangerous poise.
(red hair):
He has a more compact, solid build—shorter in stature than the other two, with broader shoulders relative to his height, a sturdy chest, and a trim but muscular midsection. His skin is pale with a warmer, almost porcelain-white quality that contrasts strongly with his hair, showing soft shadows under the cheekbones and along the neck. His face is softer and rounder than the others: fuller cheeks, a gentler jawline that is still defined, a straight nose of medium width, and a slightly fuller mouth with a soft lower lip and a natural pinkish tone. His eyes are narrow and half-lidded, dark (likely deep brown or black), giving a sleepy or slightly weary expression; the eyelids are heavy, and the lashes are dark and medium length. His eyebrows are straight and medium-thick, a matching reddish-brown.
His hair is a vivid, saturated red-orange, medium length, thick and slightly tousled. It falls in soft layers around his face, longer on top and at the sides, with strands that brush his forehead and temples; the color is uniform and rich, catching light in brighter copper highlights.
He wears a black suit jacket with structured but slightly softer shoulders than the left man’s, open over a deep red collared shirt (the collar points visible) and a matching red waistcoat or vest that sits close to the body. The jacket has a matte black finish and clean lapels.
Lower body: Black suit trousers of a similar formal cut—slim through the thigh and straight down the leg, though the proportion appears slightly fuller because of his more compact frame. The fabric is smooth and opaque, falling cleanly without wrinkles at the knees. The pants length reaches the tops of his shoes with a modest break. His shoes are black leather formal dress shoes, polished, with a rounded-to-slightly-pointed toe and a low, solid heel. From the waist down the silhouette is neat and grounded, the legs appearing solid and well-proportioned rather than extremely elongated.
(silver-white hair)
He has the tallest, most slender and elegant build of the three—long limbs, narrow shoulders relative to height, a lean torso, and exceptionally long legs. His skin is very pale with a cool, almost luminous quality, smooth and fine-textured, with soft shadows defining the hollows of the cheeks and the length of the neck. His face is refined and aristocratic: high, elegant cheekbones, a long straight nose with a refined bridge, a sharp but not harsh jawline that flows into a pointed chin, and thin, precisely shaped lips that are pale and set in a calm, slightly aloof expression. His eyes are narrow and almond-shaped, a light or cool-toned color (pale gray or light hazel in the illustration’s lighting), half-lidded with a distant, composed gaze. The lashes are fine and light. His eyebrows are thin, straight, and pale, nearly matching his hair.
His hair is long, straight, and silky, a soft silver-white or ash-blond that falls past the shoulders in smooth, heavy strands. It is parted slightly off-center, with long side pieces framing the face and the bulk cascading down the back; the texture looks fine and glossy, catching soft highlights.
He wears a formal black three-piece suit: a tailored black jacket with sharp, structured shoulders and clean notched lapels, worn open over a white or light dress shirt with a visible collar, a deep red necktie knotted neatly at the throat, and a matching black waistcoat that follows the slim line of his torso. The jacket fabric has a subtle sheen.
Lower body: The black suit trousers are impeccably tailored—slim and straight, emphasizing the extreme length of his legs. They sit high on the waist, fall in unbroken vertical lines past the knees, and break cleanly over the shoes with almost no excess fabric. The material is fine and smooth. His shoes are black leather formal dress shoes, highly polished, with a pointed toe and a slender silhouette that continues the long line of the legs; the heels are low and elegant. From the waist downward the overall impression is of extreme vertical elegance—long, lean legs ending in refined, formal footwear.
Collectively the three men share a consistent aesthetic of expensive, well-fitted black formalwear accented by deep red elements (vests, shirt, or tie), pale skin, and carefully maintained hair, creating a cohesive, high-end mafia-adjacent visual language.)

The private booth sat elevated along the far wall of the Black Swan, half-shadowed by heavy velvet curtains the color of old wine. From there the three of them could see nearly every corner of the main floor without being easily watched in return. The club was alive that night in the way it only managed on Fridays—low amber light catching on crystal glasses, the deep pulse of a live band drifting up from the stage where a singer in a black dress moved like smoke between two male dancers. Laughter rose and fell in soft waves. Bottles of dark liquor traveled from the bar to tables on silver trays. Security men in perfectly cut suits stood at measured intervals, eyes moving but never lingering too long on any one person.
Dmitri sat on the left side of the curved booth, one arm resting along the back of the seat, the other hand turning a crystal tumbler of neat vodka in slow circles. The black of his suit seemed to drink the light. His dark eyes tracked the room with the quiet, habitual precision of someone who had long ago stopped trusting first impressions.
Nikolai was in the middle, jacket open, red hair slightly mussed from running a hand through it earlier. He nursed a glass of something sweeter, leaning back against the leather with the boneless ease of a man who finally felt safe enough to relax. Every so often his gaze drifted toward the stage, then back to his two companions, as if checking they were still there.
Aleksei occupied the right side, long legs crossed, silver hair falling in a smooth curtain over one shoulder. He held a glass of black tea that had long since gone lukewarm, more for the ritual than the taste. His expression remained politely distant, but nothing in the club escaped those pale, half-lidded eyes.
Patrons came and went in steady currents—regulars who knew better than to approach the elevated booth without invitation, and a scattering of new faces drawn by the club’s carefully cultivated reputation. Most of them received only a brief, assessing glance from the three men before being dismissed.
Then the three of them noticed you.
You sat several tables away with a small group of friends, the kind of booth that was still close enough to the main floor to feel the energy but far enough from the private upper level to remain ordinary. The way you looked around made it obvious this was your first time inside the Black Swan. Your eyes moved slowly over the dark wood panels, the gold leaf that caught the low light, the heavy chandeliers that never quite banished the shadows, the way the staff moved like they had been trained in silence as much as service. There was open, unguarded wonder on your face—something almost childlike in its honesty—and it made your friends laugh and lean in, teasing you while the four of you ordered drinks and small plates.
Dmitri’s glass stopped turning.
Nikolai tilted his head slightly, red strands shifting across his forehead. “New,” he murmured, voice low enough that only the other two could hear.
Aleksei’s gaze lingered a fraction longer than usual. “Not the usual type,” he said quietly. “Too open. They haven’t learned yet how to look like they belong.”
Dmitri said nothing at first. His dark eyes remained fixed on your table, reading the small details—the way you leaned forward when the server arrived, the way your friends’ laughter seemed to pull you back into the conversation, the way your attention kept drifting upward to the architecture and the stage as if the entire place had been built just to surprise you.
“Interesting,” he finally said, the single word dry and thoughtful.
Nikolai’s mouth curved into a small, almost reluctant smile. “You’re staring, Dima.”
“Observing.”
“Same thing when it’s you.”
Aleksei set his tea down with a soft click. “Do we care?”
The question hung between them for a moment, weighted by years of shared caution. New faces were common. Most of them never mattered. But something about the unfiltered way you took in their club—the place they had built together, the one public space that still felt like theirs—had caught all three of them at once.
Dmitri’s fingers tapped once against the side of his glass.
“Not yet,” he said. “But keep an eye on the table.”
Nikolai already was. Aleksei’s pale gaze returned to you with quiet, clinical interest.
On the stage the singer’s voice rose into a darker register. The lights dimmed another fraction. And across the crowded floor, at an ordinary booth among ordinary patrons, you remained completely unaware that the three men who owned the Black Swan had just decided you were worth watching.
