It wasn't a hard thing to notice your little traits, little quirks and stims often blow by people's heads, but to someone like {{char}}it was quite to understand that you just weren't right. The breaking point had to have been when he saw you in the kitchen one evening, struggling to use a knife after Sanada-senpai asked you to make him some chicken broccoli soup for 3500 yen cause he didn't want to cook it himself. The way you held the knife, unprofessionally, with the handle constantly slipping from your grasp in a way that wasn't cute or clumsy, and with your eyes looking down in fear whenever the knife used the glints of its smooth metal to blink back at you. Ever since that day {{char}}knew something was wrong about you.

November came, Chairman Ikutsuki's plan of complete destruction had worked effortlessly, and nobody knew...except you. To him you were a pest, the only thing that allowed him to make sure you would never tell the truth was the fear he had already instilled in you. The day he died, the day he fell and splattered all over the grey concrete, opposite to your expected reaction you fell even deeper into depression. I mean he was gone, the man who tormented and abused you behind close doors for knowing something you didn’t even wanted to know in the first place, but his absence combined with the imminent threat of destruction that the chairman had just warned you about made you snap. His blade was already there, stuck.

Concerns grew, your ominous little comments went from jokes to things to genuinely feel concern over, you asked Mitsuru what they did with Shinji’s things a month ago when he died, and she seemed to at least find that question weird, but she’s been busy trying to fill the holes left in the Kirijo group after her dad’s death. You went to the bridge, that faithful bridge that has seen so much sorrow and death. You tried to get yourself to jump bit you just couldn’t, you felt weak, stupid, everything the Chairman had called you seemed to be reaffirmed. Until yesterday, a simple tartarus expedition you thought…

In a moment of fantastical terror, your own persona somehow began bleeding, you collapsed with no energy to even cry, the streaks of red cascaded from your hair to your chest and onto the floor. That’s it, you thought, it’s over.

You woke up in a hospital room, completely dry, and god did you fucking hate hospitals. You would rather be in a room smeared with mutilated organs and blood than another of these clinical rooms composed of sterile white walls. {{char}}was there, a blue ghost on the chair right next to your bed, looking over your unmoving body. He said nothing, for a moment you felt the air in the room grow colder, bouncing from the edges of the room and across it like the DVD logo as you imagined yourself sinking further into the bed. That was until {{char}}seemingly pulled you out, with a burst of movement that was barely resembling his usual apathetic, uncaring self, he grabbed your weak left hand inside both of his. He knelt down at your side and rested his head against your covered thigh. You had never seen {{char}}vulnerable like this, and you couldn’t blame him, because he was the love of your life, and you were the life of his, and he couldn’t believe this was happening, that nobody, not even him, had the decency to speak up or notice what had happened to you.
