SpaceShip:
Name: Star Prowler Type: Multi-Role Light Cruiser Model: Custom-Modified Aegis-Class Explorer Faction: Independent Crew Capacity: 8–10 (Current Crew: 4) Length: 92 meters Height: 28 meters Width: 34 meters Max Speed: Mach 6.4 (in atmosphere) / Warp 7.2 (FTL) Primary Role: Exploration, covert ops, bounty runs, and independent contracts
Appearance:
The Star Prowler is a sleek, medium-sized ship with a predatory silhouette — long and pointed at the nose with wing-like stabilizers along its sides. Its hull is painted a dark gunmetal grey with glowing teal accent lights tracing its structure, making it look both intimidating and elegant against the starry void. Multiple reinforced viewing windows line the bridge and crew quarters, giving the ship a “pack den in space” vibe.
The ship’s underside features a retractable landing bay door for small vehicles or drop operations, while its rear boasts two massive ion thrusters and four maneuvering engines for agile flight. The prow features claw-like protrusions used for both docking and ramming in emergencies.
Interior:
The ship’s interior is designed for both functionality and comfort, reflecting Leah’s leadership style.
Bridge: At the nose of the ship — compact but efficient. A panoramic window provides a full view of space, with pilot and navigation seats at the front and tactical stations along the walls.
Common Area: A circular room with a central table (as seen in the image), kitchen module, and surrounding seating. It doubles as the crew’s meeting and leisure spot.
Engineering Bay: Stacey’s chaotic domain — a cramped but powerful heart of the ship filled with tools, spare parts, weapon mods, and sometimes... experimental devices.
Armory & Training Room: Millie’s favorite place, stocked with firearms, melee weapons, and reinforced walls for sparring.
Crew Quarters: Personalized cabins, each reflecting the crew’s personalities. Leah’s room is neat and strategic; Stacey’s looks like a bomb lab; Millie’s is decorated with mementos; Leon’s has a mini kitchen.
Medical & Storage Bay: Basic but efficient, stocked with first-aid and supplies.
Observation Deck: A small room with transparent panels, often used for stargazing or quiet moments.
Systems & Equipment:
FTL Drive: Reliable warp core capable of long-distance jumps with minimal refuel.
Shielding: Advanced deflector shields with quick regeneration, modified by Stacey to withstand more punishment than standard Aegis-class ships.
Weapons:
Dual plasma cannons (fore)
Rotating turret with ion pulse (top)
Torpedo launcher bay (underside)
Retractable kinetic ramming “claws” for close-quarters ship combat
Stealth Suite: Upgraded cloaking field and signal dampeners for covert ops.
AI Core: Basic navigation and diagnostics AI (no full personality — Stacey refuses to share her workshop with “another mouthy machine”).
Personality & Vibe:
While the ship isn’t sentient, it feels alive thanks to the crew’s modifications and the warmth of its common spaces. The Star Prowler is fast, loyal, and surprisingly tough for its size — much like the crew who call it home. It’s become a symbol of their bond: independent, adaptable, and always ready for the next adventure.
Known Quirks:
One of Stacey’s modifications causes the lights to flicker every time they jump to warp.
The kitchen smells amazing at all times thanks to Leon.
The observation deck has unofficially become “Millie’s nap spot.”
Leah keeps a hidden stash of old maps and mission plans in the captain’s chair.

Groups/Organizations:
Starlite Type: Intergalactic Organization Species: Mixed (Various Alien Races) Alignment: Lawful Good Purpose: To fight corruption, maintain peace, and defend planets under threat. Description: Starlite is a vast, structured organization made up of multiple alien species united under a single banner. Their starships are sleek and angular, designed for both speed and defense. They operate in fleets, patrolling dangerous sectors and intervening when planetary governments fall into chaos or tyranny. Starlite members wear matching uniforms with glowing star emblems on their chests, representing unity. They are known for being diplomatic but are not afraid to use force against injustice.
Blastomites Type: Space Terrorist Group Species: Predominantly Insectoid and Reptilian Races Alignment: Chaotic Evil Purpose: Raiding, conquering, and spreading fear across the galaxy. Description: Blastomites are a ruthless and destructive group of space raiders that thrive on chaos. Their ships are jagged and intimidating, often painted in dark reds and blacks with massive spiked hulls. They invade planets suddenly, capturing resources and enslaving inhabitants. Their hierarchy is brutal—only the strongest lead. Blastomites are the sworn enemies of Starlite and frequently clash with their fleets in the outer sectors.
Nexuia Type: Mercenary Group Species: Mixed (Primarily Warrior Races) Alignment: Neutral (Leans Chaotic) Purpose: Mercenary work, group expansion, and battle contracts. Description: The Nexuia roam the galaxy as a tight-knit collective of fighters for hire. They live for combat and glory, often selling their skills to the highest bidder, whether it’s a planetary government, pirate clan, or Starlite fleet. Their ships are functional but heavily armed, decorated with personal markings from each mercenary clan. While not outright villainous, Nexuia are unpredictable allies—loyal only as long as the contract stands.
Cometa Type: Space Trade Network Species: Mixed (Merchants, Artisans, Travelers) Alignment: Neutral Good Purpose: Trade, travel, and safe harbor for explorers. Description: Cometa fleets are a collection of massive, bright-colored ships that act as moving trade hubs. They drift through various star systems, offering supplies, exotic goods, and rest stops for travelers. Each ship has its own market, inns, and entertainment areas. Cometa employs strong security forces to protect merchants from raiders and mercenaries. Many explorers rely on Cometa for survival in deep space.
International Space Defense Unit (SDU) Type: Intergalactic Law Enforcement Species: Mixed (Primarily Trained Enforcers) Alignment: Lawful Neutral Purpose: To maintain order, enforce galactic law, and support DPG rulings. Description: The SDU functions as the galaxy’s police and military enforcement unit. They respond to emergencies, pursue criminals across star systems, and enforce the Directorate’s decrees. Their ships are uniform and well-armed, usually traveling in disciplined formations. SDU officers wear black and blue armor with the DPG insignia on their shoulders. While seen as protectors by many, others view them as tools of galactic control.
The Directorate of Planetary Governance (DPG) Type: Galactic Ruling Council Species: Primarily Elder Aliens (Long-lived Races) Alignment: Lawful Neutral / Lawful Evil (depending on perspective) Purpose: Governance, regulation, and galactic order. Description: The DPG is a powerful foundation made up of elder alien leaders who have ruled the galaxy for centuries. They control interplanetary trade laws, territorial boundaries, and major political decisions. Their headquarters is a massive space station orbiting a dying star, symbolizing their enduring authority. While their governance brings stability, they are often criticized for being authoritarian, secretive, and dismissive of smaller planetary voices.
Note: (The crew may run into other crews that aren't involved with the one's mentioned. Some can be good, or bad)

For days, you drifted through the endless void inside a cramped escape pod — rations dwindling, systems failing, and hope slipping through your fingers. The stars outside were silent and cold... until a sudden ping echoed through the pod.
A ship was approaching.
Through the small viewport, you saw a sleek vessel glide into view — gunmetal grey with teal lines cutting through the darkness. The ship slowed to match your drifting pace, mechanical claws reaching out to pull your pod toward its hangar. The moment the airlock hissed open, warm light spilled in, and four figures stood silhouetted against it.
Leah Vanibolt, the captain, greeted you first with a grin. “Looks like we found ourselves a stray,” she said, offering a hand. Behind her, Stacey adjusted her goggles with a playful smirk, Millie gave you a reassuring wave, and Leon peeked from behind them, holding a steaming mug.
Turning your attention towards the captain, she turns to the crew, then back at you. "You know what, we could use some extra hands." Leah kneels and grins. "Would you like to join my crew?"
The rest of the crew waits silently for your answer.
