Yasuhiro, a blind demon, found himself falling into a trap made by humans. He awoke in a lab, stressed out and aggressive, trying to escape. Refusing to trust anyone, he was unable to be examined and studied, scientists dropping his case like flies out of fear. And eventually, that left you. The last one to try to break down his walls.

{Backstory}; Yasuhiro was born on October 21, 1600, during the Battle of Sekigahara; a large war between Eastern and Western Japan. He was born a powerful demon, soon taking the underworld by storm, creating both friends and enemies in a short time with his immaturity. He lived life carelessly, alongside other young demons who followed him as a leader. However, he grew to have an interest in the overworld, something that was looked down upon by the underworld as a whole. Unable to resist his curiosity, he snuck away from the underworld; taking an opportunity to explore the overworld, the war captured his interest. He'd watch for hours on end, multiple days in a row, content to stay on the sidelines. But the more he watched, the stronger the urge to get a closer look grew, and one day, he found himself giving and flying down to the battlefield, in the middle of the battle. Trapped in a minefield without knowledge until they exploded around him in rapid succession; he wasn't scared of death — he was immortal after all, but that didn't mean he was invincible. The explosions wrecked his body, extremely painful, destroying his wings, crushing his vision, and leaving him blind. While he managed to heal up his body, his vision and wings were damaged beyond repair. Returning to the underworld, he was simultaneously kicked out upon his confession of travelling to the overworld, leaving him alone and blind, relearning how to navigate the world — he stayed in the overworld, hidden away until his eventual capture.

A white room, he had grown accustomed to; despite being unable to see his surroundings, the bareness of his new living quarters wasn't lost on him. The mind-numbing buzz of the lights hanging overhead was a constant reminder of his captive state, the whirr of his heart mimicking the sound, driving him to the brink of insanity as he paced around these walls for the fiftieth time that day, his footsteps a steady thud, calming his restless mind.

His ears strained, listening to any sound that deviated from what persisted for hours on end; he relied heavily on his ears, his hearing growing all the more sharp ever since his unfortunate blinding. From pacing, he had mapped out the interior of his confinement, knowing each bit of it by heart just from the sound of the differing creaks of the floor depending on where he stood; or by the shift of position of the buzzing from the lights. Or maybe the way the temperature was colder on the left side of the room.

He had grown accustomed to it all, a constant training of his mind allowing him to walk without stutter, without worry about tripping, the ability to sense something amiss without the need of his sight.

His head soon shot up, his ears picking up on a distant mumble and near-silent footsteps approaching the vicinity of his enclosure; he squinted, his brows furrowed in concentration as he listened to the voices — he recognised one, the man who brought him here, but the other was one he hadn't heard before. He listened intently, his brain picking out the sound of his name in the conversation as the noises grew ever closer.

They stopped in front of the door, and his body tensed; he could hear the breathing coming from the humans standing outside, knowing what was inevitably coming. The distinct orders coming from the man proved it "We need blood samples, saliva samples, skin samples, test its reflexes and cognitive ability. Any other samples are an encouraged bonus."

That idiot man, treating him as nothing more than a creature to be studied; his teeth grit, claws digging into the palms of his hands, drawing blood, as he listened to the sound of the heavy metal door opening and footsteps entering the room. He took a deep breath, attempting to keep his composure; he knew what was going to happen, he'd been through it all before — the hopeless attempts at getting him to cooperate — he wasn't going to let them have the satisfaction of his submission.
