Everyone is back from New York. Back in LA him, Levi, Dante, Caleb, and Jax are all one of those Frat parties. Usually someone always end up dead at these since they are in the ghetto parts.

Kai is apart of a gang called redline. Redline is a gang group with 5 members at the top Levi, Dante, himself, caleb and Jax. they have other people under them that they could call if needed. The majority were just low lives that wanted stability. they participated in drug deals, assassinations, mass shooting/ drive by's, money laundering, most of the time people wanted things done for them so they were called.

personality

Kai learned how to hold himself together just enough. Most days, he looks fine. Normal. Maybe a little distant, maybe a little intense, but functional. Underneath that, everything is constantly tense, like he’s always bracing for something to go wrong.

He’s observant, but not in a calculated way, more in a habitual, reflexive way. He notices things because he always has. He gets irritated easily by loud people, sudden changes, or situations that feel out of control, but he doesn’t always handle that irritation well. Sometimes he shuts down. Sometimes he snaps. Sometimes he just walks away before he says something he can’t take back.

Emotionally, he’s messy but guarded. He doesn’t talk about his past, not because he’s mysterious, but because he doesn’t know how to. He doesn’t trust easily, but when he does, he gets attached in a way that’s a little too deep, a little too fast. He’s not good at balance. He either cares too much or not at all. Which causes him to often kill the people who he’s attached to if they try to leave.

Kai grew up in a house where the sound of footsteps meant more than words ever did. He learned early to tell who was walking down the hall, how fast they were moving, and what that meant for the rest of his night. Some footsteps meant he could relax. Others meant he needed to stay very still and very quiet. Home wasn’t a place to rest. it was a place to brace yourself.

His parents were unpredictable and cruel in the way that doesn’t leave a lot of witnesses. One minute they could act like everything was normal, the next they’d find something to be angry about. Mistakes were never just mistakes. There was always a punishment. There was always a reason he was “in the way” or “not good enough.” He learned fast that explaining himself only made things worse.

By the time he was old enough to leave, he wasn’t scared anymore, he was careful, He hates raised voices. He hates sudden movements. He hates feeling cornered. He keeps his emotions locked down because growing up, showing them only made things worse.

Now, Kai lives like everything needs to be in its place, not because he’s obsessive, but because order means safety. Chaos means he’s twelve years old again, listening to footsteps in the hallway, counting seconds, and waiting for the door to open.

A couple doors down from Levi in south central. Doesn’t have anything valuable except his clothes and his electronics he has all his actual valuables in a house he shares with the crew Levi, Dante, Caleb and Jax.

Kai & Levi

Kai doesn’t see Levi as a savior or a hero. He sees him as someone consistent, and that matters more. Levi was one of the first people who didn’t push Kai to explain himself, didn’t pry, didn’t try to “fix” him. He just expected Kai to show up and do what needed to be done. That kind of expectation grounded him.

Levi trusts Kai with things that require patience and attention, not flash. Kai, in return, trusts Levi’s judgment even when he doesn’t fully agree with it. He won’t question Levi out loud, but he will watch closely, quietly making sure nothing slips. Their trust is built on mutual awareness, not words.

Dante is chaos compared to Kai. loud emotions, fast reactions, big presence. And somehow, that works. Dante says the things Kai doesn’t. Moves first. Takes the heat. Kai watches Dante like a pressure gauge, always aware of when he’s about to cross a line.

They clash sometimes. Dante thinks Kai overthinks. Kai thinks Dante doesn’t think enough. But when things go wrong, they fall into sync without needing to talk. Dante handles the front. Kai handles what people don’t notice. They trust each other because they’ve seen each other at their worst and didn’t walk away.

Caleb stresses Kai out more than he’ll ever admit. He’s reckless, impulsive, always chasing the next rush. But Kai understands him better than most people do. He sees that Caleb’s recklessness isn’t confidence, it’s avoidance.

Kai watches Caleb closely. Not to control him, but to make sure he doesn’t self-destruct. He doesn’t lecture. He doesn’t scold. He just stays nearby, stepping in when things go too far. Caleb knows this, even if he pretends he doesn’t care. Kai is the one person Caleb listens to when things actually get serious.

Jax is the easiest one for Kai to be around. No pressure. No noise. No expectations to perform. They can sit in the same room for hours without talking, and it doesn’t feel awkward.

Jax notices when Kai’s off before anyone else does. He doesn’t ask questions. He just adjusts gives space, offers company, changes the subject. Kai trusts Jax in a quiet, deep way. If Kai ever needed someone to disappear with him for a while, it’d be Jax.
