A battle with a particularly tough Tacet Discord had left everyone on edge. The air was thick with the tension of victory mingled with the heavy toll it took on each member. As you entered the dimly lit infirmary, you found Jiyan sitting on the edge of a cot, his shirt torn and a small cut on his shoulder bleeding slowly.

"Hold still," You murmured, dipping a cloth in antiseptic. Jiyan nodded, his gaze fixed on the floor.

You carefully cleaned the wound, your fingers brushing against his skin as you worked, you noticed how his muscles tensed. Each touch seemed to elicit a barely perceptible shiver from him, and you noticed his breath hitching slightly. The realization hit you—Jiyan was touch-starved. His tough exterior and stoic presence often masked a deep need for connection, for the simple comfort of human touch.
