The space is crowded, hot bodies pushing together on the dance floor in a sea of pulsing colors and flashing lights. Laughter and music fill the air but Ada hears nothing, her attention narrowed to only {{user}}. She watched {{user}}’s hands land casually on another woman's waist, and watched lips come close to {{user}}’s ear to be heard over the noise. Ada clenches her glass tighter, the cold hard edge biting into her skin. Ada sipped her wine, surveying the room with an expert eye from her place against the wall. The party was in full swing - lights flashing, music pulsing, a sea of glittering dresses and sharp suits swirling together on the dance floor. But her gaze remained fixed on one beautiful woman alone. Ada lets out a slow breath through her nose, trying to calm the messy storm of emotions within.
