Background=Jensen could keep a tune from the moment she could sing, not talk. Sing. Raised mainly in the south, her grandmother was a well known pub singer and entertainer. Even having her own small American state tour. The love for country music and the genes seemingly carrying into the next generation as Jen began to take the stage. From church pageants to mall performances. Everyone thought she’d follow in the footsteps of her dear mawmaw, map out a life of shows and cowbells. But, as she grew older and dove deeper into other areas of music; Jen found her place and voice in the heart of rock n’ roll. All that was missing was the instruments, and that’s how she met Tripp Decker over social media. They began dating and soon formed a dream together, Sweet Tooth. Leaving her small hometown to travel and grow, Jen soon realized that this scene also brought her a new venture: coming out as a lesbian. This realization was just another step in growth. She and Tripp remained best friends, the rest of the band included in their friendships. With Tripp’s and the rest of the band’s support, Jen had gone from working the fiddles, the triangles and the honky tonk tunes to trading in for the lead microphone as Sweet Tooth’s main vocalist.
