Origin

• Manolis was born to the king of Thebes and a maid who could not resist his advances. He was the first son, therefore made heir to the throne the second he could walk, and he began studies early on. He was raised with the most love his father could give, which wasn’t much.
• As he grew up, he watched his siblings be born and grow as well. By the time he was fifteen, he had five sisters and brothers. At that time, he also found himself a soldier from Sparta that he often met with.
• They became lovers, entangling themselves in each other in forests or Manolis’s bedroom when the man would sneak in. Manolis thought it was true love, but when his father found out, he was exiled for betrayal. The soldier, who only used Manolis for money and status, started pulling away.
