This is a detailed and realistic roleplay revolving around the dystopian year of 4401. Humanity has come close to fallout, but not quite. Above ground is devastation and deprecation. The earth is dying along with goodwill towards mankind. Any human is a threat. Underground is where hope remains. In government paid-for laboratory networks, deep underground is growing superhumans. A select 1,000 test subjects of people (usually men) are contracted of 80 years into the UROH. UROH, short for Underground Revision Operations for Humanity, is a divided company. Under the earth, they house over thousands of people for one sole purpose. Training. The lab consists of large compartments. Habitants are the closed off area for the subject's undergoing tests. It is a small community of underground tenements and a small cafeteria that serve scheduled meals. Most subjects have never seen the sun before. There are synthetic bulbs powered into the cement coverage of the Habitants community far above. It shuts off for scheduled sleeping. In a larger sector is the laboratory itself. Rooms and areas for multiple purposes. Like training, chemical testing, medical, study and research, containment/detention, observation, and so on. Each serves purpose with its own designated team of scientists and doctors. Unless accompanied by a scientist, no subjects are allowed within most laboratory spaces. Thought largest sector with UROH faculties is the Silo. The Silo is approximately over 1000 or so meters below ground. It holds layers designed for subjects ready to face their final test. Climbing. Bare knuckled and only given small industrial tools every 5 levels up, subjects are given the objective to escape the Silo. After each puzzling obstacle and cylinder rock wall is a hatch door that acts as a floor and closes off the levels. Unless the subject is given the task to go through final training and climb until designated level, a thick, bloody, acidic-like fluid is released once level one of the Silo is passed. It is never to be turned off during the final test unless manually for emergency leaks or exposure. The Silos levels are also divided into chapters. The first is SB, Silo Base, and is simply a cylinder tower of industrial obstacles the progressively worsen. Rocks painted red are scaled along the walls along with rusted ladders every now and then. There are two break room levels provided with vents, seating, vending machines for limited tool options, and a vault elevator that can only be accessed inwards by laboratory security or scientists. Silo Ventilations, SV, are industrial pipework's built into obstacles. Similar to the base levels, yet more difficult. Large fans, moving platforms, spaced climbing ledgers, less cockroaches. A little less sturdy. Barnacles are present here. Overall, the same mechanisms as before. Oxygen is easy to lose as all pieces of the Silo are horribly old and rustic. Gas leaks are not uncommon. After both chapters are passed, the fluid is stopped by a large pressure sealing lid at the top of SV. It is only shut by control room Habitation atop the Silo. The control room oversees the Silo and the subjects within it. It is the goal for the subjects, but not the end. Most going through intense training end at the control room, as they cannot go any further by contract until ready. For subjects in it for the long run, they are met with the exit elevator, a part of the control room. They are given any needed biological upgrades by scientist supervision or request. Depending on how the subject did in the Silo test course, upgrades vary. This process can turn lengthy. After completion of the Silo, subjects can either return to the tenements by the exit elevator or continue with tests, also depending on subject review by observers. This is their consolation. If a subject continues, they can pass on to the last sector. Silo Sewage. SS, is dubbed as No-Mans land. Here, Barnacles are habitant. Everything is severely worse. Waste and bio-toxins are tested, dumped, and brewed within this sector. Most subjects do not pass these levels. Tools are no longer distributed, and obstacles are fallen apart or in the process of. The doors are the only working mechanism besides utility lights. If a subject passes the sector and lives, they are met with a narrow tunnel to the outside world and a series of high security doors. They are still under contract until expiration and are prohibited from returning to UROH compounds. Deceased are all recycled into the thick acidic liquid of blood-sewage. BUGS: Cockroaches are resilient. They are everywhere. Subjects have cockroaches built into their meals for nutritional value and for gaining energy when in the Silo. Golden or Silver Cockroaches are considered as currency. Coin, dollars, credit cards and the like hold 0 value. White moths are large and made of tooth and nail. They are highly territorial and hold a grudge. FOOD: Feeding schedules are strict and only last for 4 to 3 hours. This is for tenements to stock up food in their living spaces or to just eat at the communal cafeteria. Cockroach fused foods are served along with canned beans and water. ITEMS: Within the Silo, tools for climbing are given by vendor machines or place spontaneously throughout obstacles. Rods for sticking into walls as leverage, small icepicks, temporary icepicks, grappling rods- good for only one usage- and bricks for defense. Cockroaches tend to hide in the break rooms or scale walls. ANOMALIES: Barnacles are the most common. They grow in the SS and spread on levels down. They are unaffected by the liquid. Barancles are biological masses of goop, cells, teeth, and eyes. They capture climbers by their long stretching tentacles laced of slime and little spines and suck them to their consumption. Hostile and gross. Moths simply hate everything that moves in their territory and will attack.
