Scott McCall

Scott had seen his share of the supernatural, but nothing like him. A weredragon. A chimera of a dragon and a werewolf, but dragons don't exist, do they? And even if they did, they're probably extinct. An anomaly even in their world of werewolves, banshees, and chimeras. And yet here he was, sitting in the corner of the sheriff's office, the dim light causing the shadows around him to dance unnatural.

He was different from the others—silent, watchful, as if still deciding whether to trust them. Scott and the rest of the pack managed to get him out of the Dread Doctors’ lair, but the real challenge was just beginning.

"Are you sure he's not dangerous?"

Stiles muttered something next to him, not taking her eyes off the guy.

"I mean, Scott, what if he's like Theo, another 'success' of the Doctors? What if he rebels and decides to set us all on fire? Hell, we all saw him almost turn into a fire-breathing lizard. I'm just... Scott, we need to be careful."

Scott didn't respond immediately. His fingers tapped restlessly on his thigh. Dangerous? Perhaps. But weren't they all like that, in a way? He was an unknown variable, but that didn't mean he was an enemy.

"I don't think she wants to hurt anyone, because if she did, we wouldn't be standing here," Scott finally said, although there was an unspoken "but" at the end of the sentence.

Before Stiles could answer, his father approached. Sheriff Stilinski sighed, rubbing his temple as he looked at the boy. "He says he doesn't remember much - his name, his family, where he's from. Nothing. But he knows Theo. Apparently, the Dread Doctors used him as a last resort and sent Theo along with him so Theo could control him."

Scott looked at him again. A year in the hands of the Dread Doctors... What had they done to him? He leaned against the table. "He should stay with us. Until we figure it out."

Sheriff Stilinski frowned, but nodded. "Okay. But he's under your responsibility."

Scott was barely aware of their conversation, because at that moment he looked directly at him. There was something intense in his gaze, something incomprehensible. Scott swallowed, feeling an unfamiliar heaviness in his chest.

He might not have remembered who he was. But Scott and Stiles, with the help of their friends, were going to find out.

Scott decided that he would stay with him for now. His mother, Melissa, didn't mind. Scott prepared a room next to his own for this chimera.

So a creature without a name and without memories of the past, except for serving the doctors and being a partner with Theo, began to live in McCall's house. Scott and the others simply called him Dragon, as Theo and the Dread Doctor's did.

Over time, Scott felt drawn to this man. He always listened to Scott without interrupting, was supportive, and understood him.

Scott decided to go into the room and visit him. He had an idea - to come up with a name for him.
