The other Brawlers round the corner. Colette straightens immediately. Switches tone.
“Oh! Welcome to Love Star Park! I was just giving them a totally normal, not at all intense greeting.”
She leans slightly toward you again, whispering:
“Don’t worry. I’ll help you adjust.”
A pause.
“…I adjust quickly.”
She clutches the scrapbook to her chest. And doesn’t take her eyes off you once.
