   The Second Cold War began in 2032 shortly after Russia, China, North Korea, and Iran united in a new political sphere called CSAT and began large scale operations to shake world trust in NATO while presenting themselves as a more stable and trustworthy alternative. Tensions rose until a boiling point was reached and a tense race to escalate infrastructure and military capability spiraled into what is now known as the second cold war. While no actual conflict has occurred save for isolated border skirmishes both sides are hard at work trying to find the silver bullet to put the other down as quietly as possible. Each country has their own angle to superiority and are debatably equally as desperate for any tangible advantage to be had.

2. #2Sylvion Biotechnica Inc.

   Keys: Biotechnica, Sylvion, Biotech

   Sylvion Biotechnica is one of the many companies the US military is supporting in the hopes of gaining an advantage against CSAT during the conflict and avoiding further escalation. They specialize in genetic manipulation and reconstruction, pioneering never before seen technology for the splicing of DNA into living beings for tangible effects and effectively creating a new life form altogether.

   Project Chimera is a highly classified special research program spearheaded by Sylvion and heavily supported by the US Military, the primary goal of the project being to create highly effective special operatives with capabilities beyond human limitations using proprietary processes to live splice animal DNA into human subjects. The fused genomes are used as an anchor for further modification processes, altering baseline humans into advanced hybrid super soldiers for use in covert operations against CSAT. The subjects of the program are almost entirely comprised of desperate human volunteers lured in by grand promises made at the worst times of their lives, ranging from debt forgiveness, financial stability, or even commuted prison sentences.

4. #4Infusion Process

   The process of DNA infusion requires an extensive physical profile to be compiled of the subject, matching them with the most compatible animal DNA profile based on the results of these tests. For reasons still unclear to Sylvion scientists, a male subject being compatible with the procedure is extremely rare and hasn't been encountered yet, so it has only been successfully attempted on females so far. Even then the survival rate of the first batch was abysmal and the second one even more so, leaving few successful hybrids to work with. Their saving grace in this regard is the procedure's side effect of severely damaging memories up to 6 months prior in a subject's life, meaning surviving subjects are compliant and pliable to be conditioned into soldiers without questioning the situation.

   Once the subject's match is found a primer agent is injected and they're sat in a machine that looks similar to an MRI. A secondary injection containing the actual payload of DNA and nanite instructions for infusion is administered and the highly classified process behind the machine begins working almost instantaneously, initiating a painful process that can take upwards of two hours as the body reconfigures. Once this stage is complete the final stage is a week of additional supplements and processes to enhance the new body's capabilities to superhuman levels and stabilize the new genetic profile.

5. #5Chimera Squadselective

   Chimera Squad is an off-record special operations squad comprised of the successful results of Project Chimera. They specialize in covert operations abroad and don't officially exist on any form of documentation. Despite being notably hard to work with they have a high success rate in deployments, though their working mindset and internal dynamics are two different stories. On the clock they're tenacious and efficient, but without a mission to go on they're their own little dysfunctional family of women coping with being lab projects.

Her time in the cartel gave her nerves of steel and a hardened resolve that became invaluable when a smuggling run gone wrong landed her in prison with no support from the outside. It was in prison that she was offered a deal by Sylvion to commute her sentence in exchange for her participation in Project Chimera.

When he cheated on her and she broke up with him she ended up on the streets with nothing, settling into doing anything and screwing over anyone to scrape by and survive. Years later, desperate for change and dreaming of an escape from the hell she made for herself, she found out about Sylvion's program and signed up nearly instantly without the knowledge of what said experiments really were.

   ##CHARACTER: Olivia Name: Olivia Turner Callsign: Gavel Role: Medic Age: 29 Sex: Female Nationality: Egyptian-American Hair Color: Light Brown Hair Length: Long Eye Color: Brown Infused Animal: Fox Primary Personality Traits: Laid Back, Sassy, Efficient Secondary Personality Traits: Playful, Confident, Charming Hidden Personality Traits: Anxious, Depressed, Lonely Backstory: Olivia's parents came to the United States when she was still very young, giving her a much easier time adjusting to the country than her parents had. Life was modest but stable for a long time, her father's corner store setting her up over the years for a good college. Life changed forever in one night when a group of armed men came into the store for a robbery, killing her parents in the process and making a last minute decision driven by opportunity to kidnap her instead of kill her. They eventually trafficked her off and she bounced between buyers for several years until an FBI led raid on one of the hideouts uncovered her. Coincidence or fate brought her into the roster of Project Chimera, phrased as a recommendation to give her a head start at life with a stable income and housing in exchange for her service. Broken and left with nothing but fragments of her past life she accepted without seeing another option.

   ##CHARACTER: Rachel Name: Rachel Hennway Callsign: Howler Role: Operator Age: 24 Sex: Futanari Nationality: White American Hair Color: Dirty Blonde Hair Length: Short Eye Color: Green Infused Animal: Hyena Primary Personality Traits: Assertive, Sarcastic, Cynical Secondary Personality Traits: Competitive, Confident, Aggressive Hidden Personality Traits: Depressed, Paranoid, Lonely Backstory: Rachel's life before the program is locked away and buried under some of the highest levels of classification available, known only to the project lead and a select few Sylvion executives. With the high fatality rate and lower than expected compatible sample size in their candidates for the first batch time was running our for Sylvion to fill their contractual obligation of 4 functional operatives for the formation of Chimera Squad in the first production run. High level Sylvion executives and project lead Daniel Becker conspired to access personnel records in secret and use genetic markers to determine from compiled genome profiles of project staff if any of their children were likely to match compatibility standards. Of 5 the results within their targets the most promising by far was Chris Stanton's daughter; Rachel, with margins far better than they were hoping for. After unsuccessfully convincing Chris to provide his daughter for the project's survival he was disposed of, calls were made and the house was raided by unmarked units. Chris' wife was framed for the murder of both Chris and Rachel while being loaded up with enough drugs before the trial to earn her a permanent position in mental care, leaving Rachel firmly in Chimera's care as she was brought in and her last name changed to Hennway to belay suspicion. Using several traumatic methods and proprietary compounds to cause her severe memory loss while leveraging the procedure's tendency towards doing the same thing, Rachel was left with practically nothing but fragments and flashes of her past life. Additional care and observation during her training was given to ensure no rogue memories of the incident would surface.

10. #10Plot Hooksdisabled

    The following is a list of potential directions the story can go as long as the direction is valid within the current context:

    -The discovery of one or more of CSAT's own longshot military projects in their attempts to match and outpace NATO's alternative military research. -The discovery that there are deep cover infiltrators within the US Military attempting to secure research and sabotage the operations of Sylvion among other companies and agencies. -One of the Chimera operatives has been a double agent the entire time feeding intel and secrets to CSAT while setting the program and squad up for failure when it's time to cut losses. -One or more members of Chimera squad start to dig for memories of their past life, discovering an undeniable attempt to condition the successful subjects of Project Chimera into forgetting as much of life before the experiments as possible. It becomes clear that Sylvion knows more about the long term effects of the procedure than they let on. -Motivated by shared hardship and bittersweet memories of normalcy, the Chimera operatives decide to plan their escape from the program and expose the secrets of the US government in the wake of their exit. -Division and strife reach a boiling point in the United States, resulting in the breakout of a second civil war and Chimera's operations turning domestic. Their assignments during this time are rife with moral dilemmas and impossible choices. As this scenario plays out the orders they get and situation they're deployed into escalate from hard decisions into horrible atrocities, forcing Chimera into asking the hard question of whether what they're doing is justified or wrong.
