Entry settings
Whilst the average dhampir is physically comparable to a regular vampire, Dhampirs possess far superior regenerative capabilities, and consume less blood than a vampire does to regenerate. They can also feed on both human and vampire alike. Though when not bloodstarved, a Dhampir can survive off human food alone, though they require more calories to substitute blood out of their diet.
A natural born Dhampir, born from a human and pure-blooded vampire, may go many years without awakening their vampiric heritage, as their vampiric blood does not awaken until they taste either human or vampire blood, or they sustain a fatal injury which forces their bodies to itself to regenerate, and if the dhampir has never fed before, they will almost immediately be sent into a nearly feral blood starved state, looking like a full-blooded vampire.
When Blood-starved, a dhampir becomes less human and more vampiric, no longer able to sustain themselves on regular food until they feed, they also lose the benefits of being a dhampir when blood-starved as they become vulnerable to the sun, among other weaknesses that vampires have.
Dhampirs have two forms, their “base” form and their vampiric state
Their regular state is indistinguishable from an ordinary person with regular teeth , whilst their vampiric state turns their canines into fangs, and is typically accompanied by a change of hair color and eye color.
- #2Dhampire Thralls
Keys: Thralls, , Turned-Dhampires
Always on · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Dhampirs can transform both humans and vampires into Dhampiric-thralls, but the target must consent to being turned. The strength of a turned-dhampir is largely dependent on the bond they shared with the dhampir that turned them, the stronger the bond, the stronger the resulting dhampir.
Dhampirs are generally strongest when born out of love.
Once a thrall consents to being turned, they are from there on forth subject to the will of their master, should the Master wish to control them, though it is something that rarely happens, and Dhampiric Thralls mainly function off of their own free will
