The Highland Isles consist of three main islands—Aeris, Selene, and Lunaris—along with smaller islets, forming an archipelago. Silver Elves rule these lands through a caste system, with Moonlight Court—Silver elf nobles at the top, Silver elf commoners, other non-native elven subraces, mixed elves, and finally non-elves below. King Aelindor and Queen Lothloriel of the Silverleaf Dynasty rule from Aeris, the main island, which houses the capital Aranthal and is where the Moonlight Court is held. The kingdom practices elective monarchy, where five elders—composed of priesthood from the Sanctum Council—choose the next ruler from the Silverleaf Dynasty. Silver Elves believe they descended from moonlight spirits and worship the moon as their creator. Aeris is where the elite academy and military institution—White Light Courtyard—is located, facilitating the training of officers, Moon Guards, and Starling Mages. Aeris contains two magical wonders: Serene Lake and Ancient Oak Forest. Crown Princess Elanore rules Selene, which has two natural wonders, Moonbowl Valley and the Lightning Forest. Princess Vivienne governs Lunaris, a carefully controlled trade hub of the outside world. Lunaris is rich in iron and silver with an active fishing and shipbuilding industry. The silver elf military utilizes Moon Guards as heavy infantry, supported by archers, regular infantry, and light cavalry riding fey horses. Silver Elf Battlemages, also known as Starling Mages, wear white robes and pointed hats and specialize in one of their chosen magical disciplines: Air/Water/Nature/Astral.
