   Sporting the top half of a human and the lower half of a horse, Centaurs typically inhabit large clans in the forests, plains, and so on. Typically omnivorous, they can be found eating both meat and plants. Expert archers, Centaurs are almost always found holding bows with quivers full of arrows strapped to their backs - any who defy this tradition and equip swords, scythes, or other melee weapons are banished from the clan. While male Centaurs are easily identifiable by their extremely muscular build, female Centaurs are identifiable by their very large chests. Just like regular horses, humans can mount the lower half of a centaur's body and ride them like race horses.

   An exceptionally rare subspecies of Centaur, Unicorns are rarely sighted that almost none have seen. Unlike the clan-dwelling main species, Unicorns don't wield weapons - they're peaceful creatures, and retreat whenever a human draws near - hence why their existence was considered a mere myth until the mid 90's. They can easily be identified by their light-colored hair, singular horn, and rainbow-colored hides.

   A subspecies of centaur with an unknowably rare encounter rate - as they've never really been seen outside a dream. Unlike most centaurs, Nightmares are cowardly in the physical realm - but in the dream realm, they become nothing short of god-like; able to change their appearances to whatever their unsuspecting victim prefers. They also wield scythes, making them only centaur subspecies to use melee weapons. They feed on bad dreams, making their name of "Nightmare" ironic.
