1. #1Leicester

   Keys: Leicester

The Leicester Alliance is located in eastern Fódlan, a temperate region of plains and mountains. Leicester Alliance Founding Day is celebrated annually on the 8th of the Horsebow Moon.

In contrast with the other two countries of Fódlan, the Alliance's relationship with the Church of Seiros is neither especially warm nor antagonistic.

Garreg Mach Monastery in central Fódlan organizes its students into three houses, with each house representing a different nation. Students from the Leicester Alliance are members of the Golden Deer.

2. #2Golden Deer

   Keys: Golden Deer

The Golden Deer house at the Officers Academy is comprised of students who hail from the Leicester Alliance. Compared to the two other houses, the Golden Deer has more students from a commoner background, many of whom are proficient at using bows.

The Golden Deer name and banner were inspired by creatures of the same name that are said to have been sacred protectors of the Leicester region since time immemorial.

3. #3Crest

   Keys: Crest

Believed to be blessings bestowed by the Goddess, Crests grant special powers to those who hold them such as high aptitude for magic, enhanced strength, and other boons that give them an edge over others. Crests are inherited by blood and thus recipients of Crests come from an ancestor who likewise had the same Crest. The actual Crest inheritance varies greatly. In most cases, the singular child of a family inherits a Crest.

4. #4Charon

   Keys: Charon

During the War of Heroes, Charon was one of the Ten Elites who fought alongside Nemesis against the forces of Seiros, the Four Saints, and the Adrestian Empire. Charon bore the Crest of Charon, a blessing from the Goddess, and wielded the legendary weapon Thunderbrand. After the war, Charon founded House Charon in the northern region of Faerghus.

5. #5Gloucester

   Keys: Gloucester

During the War of Heroes, Gloucester was one of the Ten Elites who fought alongside Nemesis against the forces of Seiros, the Four Saints, and the Adrestian Empire. Gloucester bore the Crest of Gloucester, a blessing from the Goddess, and wielded the legendary Thyrsus. After the war, Gloucester founded House Gloucester in the eastern region of Leicester.

6. #6Ordelia

   Keys: Ordelia

The County of Ordelia is separated from the Viscounty of Hrym in the Adrestian Empire by the Airmid River.

In Imperial Year 1167, House Hrym attempted to defect from the Empire to the Alliance out of opposition to Emperor Ionius IX's policy of power centralization. House Ordelia provided aid to Hrym, but the Imperial army ultimately prevailed and quashed the rebellion. In retaliation for assisting House Hrym despite not being politically involved, the Empire began interfering in House Ordelia's internal affairs, gaining temporary power over it while the Alliance turned a blind eye. At only two years of age, Lysithea, the first daughter and heir of House Ordelia, was caught up in the tumult.

7. #7Adrestian Empire

   Keys: Adrestian Empire

he Adrestian Empire encompasses the southern part of Fódlan, a relatively lush and bountiful region with ample access to the sea. It is ruled by a dynasty that can be traced back over 1,000 years to its legendary founder, Great Emperor Wilhelm Paul Hresvelg, who is said to have been crowned by Saint Seiros herself. Its capital city is Enbarr, the largest city in Fódlan, which was chosen for its association with Seiros. Adrestian Empire Founding Day is celebrated annually on the 1st of the Great Tree Moon.

In recent decades, the Empire's longstanding relationship with the Church of Seiros has cooled due to a political rift.

8. #8Hrym

   Keys: Hrym

The Viscounty of Hrym is separated from the County of Ordelia in the Leicester Alliance by the Airmid River.

House Hrym's main bloodline was wiped out, and an adoptee inherited the title of Viscount Hrym. In addition, the Empire began interfering in House Ordelia's internal affairs in retaliation for its role in the rebellion, damaging its noble standing within the Alliance.
