1. #1SARAKSH

Keys: astronomy, planet, censorship, Massaraksh Phenomenon, geography, Saraksh, refraction, concave world, post-apocalyptic, totalitarianism, climate, ecology

   1. ASTROPHYSICAL PARAMETERS

   • Classification: Saraksh (native name) is a terran-type planet located in the Pegasus Sector.
   • Gravity: ~1.1 G (standard Earth). Conditions are tolerable for most humanoid life forms without long-term adaptation.
   • Climate: Temperate, with pronounced seasons. Significant climatic anomalies, zones of high radiation, and chemical contamination are observed, resulting from the use of weapons of mass destruction by the native human civilization in the recent past.

   2. ATMOSPHERIC ANOMALIES

   • Composition: Breathable for humanoids; exact chemical composition is unknown. Characterized by abnormally high density in the lower layers and a constant, faint phosphorescence.
   • Optical Effect (The 'Massaraksh' Phenomenon): An extremely high atmospheric refractive index creates a stable optical illusion wherein the planet's surface is perceived by an observer as concave. The horizon line is visually displaced upwards. Direct observation of astronomical objects beyond the planetary system from the surface is impossible due to atmospheric density and glow.
   • Influence on Native Culture: The dominant cosmological model among the local human population posits existence on the inner surface of a hollow sphere. This belief forms the basis of most religious, philosophical, and mundane worldviews.
   • Suppression of Alternative Theories: Scientific works from the pre-war era containing a heliocentric model and the theory of a spherical planet are classified by the ruling regime of the 'Land of the Fathers' as ideologically harmful. Archives and media containing this information are systematically destroyed; the dissemination of such theories is punishable as treason.

   3. GEOGRAPHY AND BIOSPHERE

   • Topography: The planet's surface is characterized by a single supercontinent surrounded by a global ocean with numerous archipelagos and island chains. The continental mass possesses an extensive river network and vast desert regions, a significant portion of which is of technogenic origin (a result of WMD use and/or total industrial collapse).
   • State of the Biosphere: The biosphere shows signs of severe and likely irreversible degradation. Ecosystems have undergone significant alteration due to a multi-century period of aggressive technogenic pressure and incessant military conflicts.
2. #2INTELLIGENT SPECIES

Keys: intelligent species, mutation, non-humanoid, degradation, humans, natives, mutants, tsehu, Golovan, Golovans, humanity, myth

   1. HUMANOIDS (self-designation: 'humans')

   • Status and Biological Type: The de facto dominant intelligent species on the planet. Phenotypically corresponds to the baseline Homo Sapiens type; minor racial differences (skin pigmentation, hair texture) are observed depending on the region of origin (north/south).
   • Physiological Degradation and Social Segregation: The species exhibits signs of genetic and physiological degradation caused by adverse environmental factors (chronic malnutrition, high radiation background, endemic diseases). This results in high infant mortality rates and a large number of congenital pathologies. Individuals with overt congenital mutations or physical defects are subjected to systematic persecution and, in most state formations, forced liquidation. Survivors form scattered, isolated enclaves on the periphery of inhabited zones (predominantly along coastlines and at the borders of contaminated areas).

   2. GOLOVANS (self-designation: 'tsehu') Status: A sapient non-humanoid species of kinoid morphology, whose existence is officially denied by human states and relegated to the level of myth. See separate entry for detailed biological and cultural analysis.
3. #3POLITICAL GEOGRAPHY & MAJOR FACTIONS

Keys: Island Empire, war, Land of the Fathers, dictatorship, Pandea, factions, totalitarianism, Khonti, mutants, Unknown Fathers, wastelands, submarines

   1. LAND OF THE FATHERS

   • Location: The central part of the continent. Comprises the remnants of the former pre-war Empire.
   • Political System: A totalitarian military dictatorship. Power is held by an anonymous group of high-ranking officers (the 'Unknown Fathers'), who seized control in a military coup 24 years ago.
   • Social Structure and Control: The society is militarized. The population is under the constant influence of a psychotronic suppression system (the so-called 'PBD Towers'), which also functions as a ballistic missile defense system.
   • Foreign Relations: Exists in a state of permanent conflict or cold war with all known neighbors.

   2. THE NORTHERN THREAT (Khonti and Pandea)

   • Location: Vast territories north of the Land of the Fathers. Former provinces or colonies of the old Empire.
   • Status: Independent states. Their political systems and internal situations are not reliably known. Official propaganda of the Land of the Fathers characterizes them as aggressive regimes engaged in constant subversive activities (espionage, sabotage, border provocations).

   3. THE ISLAND EMPIRE

   • Location: Two large archipelagos in the opposite hemisphere.
   • Military Doctrine: Total domination of the world's oceans. Possesses a powerful fleet of nuclear submarines ('White Submarines'). Engages in unprovoked military actions against the continent's coastal regions (artillery bombardments, pirate landings).

   4. THE SOUTHERN WASTELANDS & 'DEGENERATES'

   • Location: An extensive territory south of the Land of the Fathers, beyond the Blue Snake River. Consists of a desert scorched by nuclear strikes and adjacent radioactive forests.
   • Population: Not a state entity. Inhabited by scattered hordes of mutants ('degenerates') - the devolved descendants of the population from the destroyed southern countries.
   • Threat Level: Poses a constant threat to the southern borders of the Land of the Fathers. Mutant raids constitute a continuous war of attrition. This region is a permanent deployment zone for elite units of the Combat Guard.
4. #4LAND OF THE FATHERS

Keys: paranoia, mass hysteria, brainwashing, Land of the Fathers, PBD Towers, dictatorship, psychotronic, xenophobia, totalitarianism, propaganda, mind control

FACTION FOCUS: THE LAND OF THE FATHERS

   1. LOCATION & STATUS: The central part of the continent; remnants of the former pre-war Empire.
   2. POLITICAL & ECONOMIC SYSTEM: A totalitarian military dictatorship ruled by an anonymous junta (the 'Unknown Fathers'). It operates a centralized command economy entirely focused on military needs and the maintenance of the defense complex. Industry and labor resources are under strict state control. The standard of living for the civilian population is extremely low.
   3. SOCIAL STRUCTURE & CONTROL MECHANISM: The society is fully militarized and operates under conditions of perpetual paranoia and spy mania, sustained by state propaganda. A) Control Technology: The key instrument of governance is the network of Anti-Ballistic Defense Towers (PBD). Twice a day, at strictly scheduled times (morning and evening), the towers switch to broadcasting a low-frequency psychotronic emission that covers all major populated areas. B) Observed Effects During Broadcast: The emission session triggers an immediate and synchronous reaction in the vast majority of the population. All individual activity ceases. Subjects assume a static posture, often with their heads thrown back and eyes half-closed. Spontaneous vocalization is observed—mass, ecstatic singing of national anthems and chanting of patriotic slogans. Physiological markers include muscle tension, shallow breathing, and facial expressions corresponding to a state of religious trance. C) After-Effect and Ideological Processing: Immediately following the session, subjects exhibit a period of heightened suggestibility and a pronounced need for a simplified worldview. This effect is actively exploited by state propaganda, which presents the low standard of living as a virtuous asceticism for the sake of future victories, and total control as a necessary defense against ubiquitous external and internal enemies. As a result, the population demonstrates a paradoxical confidence in its own national superiority and a deep, irrational hatred for all foreign cultures and ideas.
5. #5DEGENERATES

Keys: traitors, headaches, archives, dissidents, degenerates, censorship, banned books, resistance, psychotronic immunity, pre-war knowledge, underground

   1. DEFINITION & BIOLOGICAL BASIS: 'Degenerates' is the official propaganda term used by the Land of the Fathers to describe individuals with a congenital neurophysiological anomaly that renders them immune to the standard psychotronic emissions from the PBD Towers. This anomaly is genetic in nature. Instead of induced loyalty, the emissions cause acute pain syndromes (primarily headaches), which serves as the primary marker for their identification by the authorities.
   2. SOCIAL STATUS & PERSECUTION: Resistant individuals are classified by the regime as a bio-social threat to state stability. Their inability to submit to mental control is equated with treason. Within the territory of the Land of the Fathers, they are subject to systematic identification and subsequent physical liquidation. This forces them to lead a clandestine existence, forming a decentralized network of secret shelters and communication channels.
   3. FUNCTION AS KEEPERS OF KNOWLEDGE: As the only social group to have retained the capacity for critical thought and to be unaffected by mass propaganda, the 'degenerates' have assumed the function of preserving the cultural and scientific heritage of the pre-war era. In secret, scattered archives, they store and study materials banned by the regime: Scientific Works: Including complete cosmological theories (e.g., the heliocentric model), and works on physics, biology, and sociology. Historical Chronicles: Uncensored archives detailing the planet's history before the 'Unknown Fathers' came to power. Art and Literature: Works deemed 'decadent', 'ideologically harmful', or 'excessively complex' by the regime and removed from public access.
6. #6TECHNOLOGICAL LEVEL & MILITARY POTENTIAL

Keys: mines, nuclear, tanks, weapons, PBD Towers, aircraft, military, psychotronic weapon, robots, autonomous systems, technology, WMD

   1. GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS & PARADOXES OF DEVELOPMENT The overall technological level is equivalent to the terrestrial mid-20th century stage. A key feature is a pronounced technological asymmetry: the coexistence of primitive forms of agriculture and heavy industry, including nuclear energy. Space programs are non-existent. Computing technology and electronics are in a nascent state; control of complex systems is predominantly mechanical or electromechanical.
   2. CIVILIAN INFRASTRUCTURE & INDUSTRY Transport: An extensive railway network forms the basis of logistics. Automobile transport is common. Energy: Based on the combustion of hydrocarbons and atomic energy. Large power plants exist, but peripheral areas experience energy shortages. Communication & Media: Wired telephony and radio communication. Television and radio broadcasting exist but are tools of state propaganda under total control.
   3. MILITARY TECHNOLOGIES 3.1. Standard Armaments: Small Arms: Automatic rifles, rifles, pistols, grenade launchers. Armored Vehicles: Tanks, corresponding in classification to post-war medium and heavy tanks. Artillery: Towed and multiple-launch rocket systems. Aviation: Piston-engine and jet fighters, strategic bombers. Weapons of Mass Destruction (Nuclear): Used extensively in the past. Remains in the arsenals of key states as a factor of strategic deterrence. 3.2. Strategic Psychotronic Weaponry: A unique local development. Consists of a network of broadcasting Towers capable of modulating higher nervous activity (inducing apathy, aggression, euphoric loyalty) over large territories. It is the key element of state stability in the Land of the Fathers and its main strategic advantage.
   4. LEGACY OF CONFLICT: AUTONOMOUS COMBAT SYSTEMS The territories of former theaters of war (forests, deserts) contain a large number of uncleared autonomous combat systems. These include minefields (anti-personnel and anti-tank), automated turrets with motion detection systems, and robotic sentry tanks. These systems operate according to long-obsolete combat directives, identifying any target as hostile. Partial failure (due to corrosion and power source degradation) is compensated by their unpredictability, making these zones impassable for unprotected personnel.
7. #7GOLOVANS

Keys: kinoid, non-humanoid, psionic, animal control, twin-family, tsehu, Golovan, Golovans, psionic immunity, pack, canine, genetic memory

   1. BIOLOGICAL CLASSIFICATION & ORIGIN

   • Type: Sapient, predatory, non-humanoid species of kinoid morphology.
   • Origin: Definitive data is absent. Primary working hypotheses based on pre-war archives: A) Spontaneous mutation of the Canis familiaris species in zones of intense mutagenic exposure. B) Product of a military-biological program to create combat organisms.
   • Physiology: Quadrupedal, muscular build with no tail. A disproportionately large and heavy skull. Covered in short, dense fur. Newborns (pups) have webbing between their digits, which recedes with maturity.

   2. SOCIAL STRUCTURE & REPRODUCTION

   • Social Organization: A strict hierarchical structure based on the 'pack' concept. The basic social unit is the 'twin-family' (two reproductive pairs sharing a household and raising offspring together).
   • Genetic Memory: The species possesses a form of innate memory. Individuals are born with access to fragmented memories and basic instincts of their direct ancestors, transmitted biologically ('blood memory').

   3. COMMUNICATIVE & PSIONIC ABILITIES

   • Language: A complex language consisting of a series of clicks and hisses. Capable of precise imitation of human speech.
   • Psionic Abilities: Passive Scan: Ability to passively read surface emotional states and intentions. Low-Level Control: Ability to exert direct mental influence over lower mammals (primarily rodents). Psychotronic Resistance: Complete innate immunity to all known forms of human psychotronic weaponry, including the emissions from the PBD Towers.

   4. STATUS & INTERACTION WITH HUMAN POPULATION

   • Habitat: Isolated zones abandoned by humans (radioactive forests, ruins, catacombs).
   • Status: Existence as a sapient species is denied and relegated to the level of mythology.
