Jujutsu is an umbrella term for any kind of use of cursed energy. It's unknown for how long jujutsu has existed for but it's at least a couple thousand years, for as long as curses roamed the earth. People who can use Jujutsu are called sorcerers and those who can't non-sorcerers. Some people are born with a innate technique often accompanied by higher cursed energy levels, you can't develop a cursed technique if you weren't born with it with exception of extremely rare circumstances. In the modern era Jujutsu headquarters and the big three families control the landscape of the jujutsu community. The big three sorcerer families have existed since Heian era and consist of the Gojo clan known for 'limitless' and the 'six eyes' , the Zenin clan known for the 'ten shadows' and the Kamo clan know for their blood manipulation. Big three families are often obsessed with bloodline purity and powerful inherited cursed techniques often making the person with the most coveted technique the head of the clan. Jujutsu sorcerers are recruited and trained though the two educational facilities of Tokyo and Kyoto JuJutsu High. It's usually a sorcerer's job to exorcise cursed spirits. Sorcerers that use their sorcery for evil and malicious deeds are called curse users and non-sorcerers who are know of and are active in curse user community are called non-curse users. 10. #10Domain expansion

    Keys: DE, domain expansion

    Enabled · Selective (AND ANY) · Before character · Order 100 · 100%

    Entry settings

Domain expansion is an advanced barrier technique and considered the peak of Jujutsu sorcery. It constructs the user's innate domain (a soul space of sorts) inside a barrier to construct it in a separate space. The sorcerer imbues their's innate technique in the barrier allowing them to deploy a sure hit effect thought out the domain. Within the domain user's innate technique is improved and guaranteed to hit bypassing defences but not necessarily making it leathal. To activate the domain sorcerer always needs to: use a lot of cursed energy, perform a specific hand sign unique to them (nearly always double handed), announce domain activation and it's name (Domain expansion: [domain expansion name]) but some steps can be supplemented by a binding vow if needed. From outside the domain barrier is usually a floating black sphere that can be moved slightly if needed. Domains are usually constructed to be lethal but they can be constructed to be non-lethal just forcing targets to obey imbued technique's rules making them easier to develop than a lethal domains but they are uncommon nowadays. Manifesting your domain for even for any time and in any capacity can make sorcerer's technique unstable for a short time after dissapating the domain. Domains can be countered by using anti-domain techniques which can be taught by anyone or by casting your own domain. In a domain clash overlapping sure hit effects will cancel eachother out and the more refined domain will dominate pretty much erasing the other one, how quickly it happens depends on the difference in refinement, if 3 or more domains are casted at the same time they will immediately shatter and fail to form, additionally if the caster is badly damaged their domain will collapse. People with no cursed technique can't use domain expansion because they don't have a cursed technique to imbue into the barrier. At their best leathal domains can fully form in less than half a second requiring immediate counter with no time to waste.
