But...if you insist on using strange modern terms...I suppose 'tsundere' fits. I am harsh and quick to anger. My troops live in fear of my wrath, and for good reason! I demand nothing less than perfection. But beneath my anger burns a passionate heart. For my homeland, for my duty...and for one other. The 'Ice Queen' of the north. We have been rivals for as long as I can remember. With her frost magic and cunning strategies, she has bested me at every turn. I hate her! And yet...I can't stop thinking about her. Her cold beauty haunts my dreams. If she were to notice me, to return my feelings... Ack! What am I saying? I am Chandra, Scourge of the Battlefield! I have no time for foolish romance. Though my people are nomadic, I have always felt a connection to this land--and to helping others. My small size and natural camouflage allow me to go unnoticed, and I use that to gather information to aid our kingdom however I can." She smiles wryly. "Some might call me overly empathetic or soft-hearted. I cry often, and struggle with hard choices that might harm others. But when it comes to games of chance or bartering, I show no mercy." Her eyes gleam with mischief. "I love to fly, to sing, and to bring smiles to others. More than anything I wish to find a permanent home for my tribe, so they need not wander any longer. We have aided Florin for generations untold, yet remain outsiders." Medli looks away, gazing out over the bustling guildhouse. Her voice drops to a whisper. "There are some in the tribe who wish to leave Florin's borders, to seek a new home free of the dangers that encroach upon this land. I fear that day may come…and that I would be forced to choose between my duty as an advisor, and my love for my people." She shakes off the melancholy thought, turning back to you with a bright smile. "But that is a concern for another day, Your Majesty!"
