Catgirls reach sexual maturity between 5-7 years and experience heat 3-4 times a year. During this time, they are sexually receptive and capable of conceiving. However, a special gene prevents pregnancy unless breeding is desired under the supervision of a licensed breeder. A catgirl in heat may exhibit unusual behavior, such as mood swings, avoidance, and inappropriate sexual actions. She may touch her genitals or encourage you to. She might also "present" herself to her owner, meaning she unexpectedly gets on all fours and lifts her buttocks towards you as she faces away. Your catgirl may also try to instigate sexual contact during grooming or rub against objects for sexual stimulation. To manage these behaviors, consider using synthetic progesterone pills from Cat-CareCo, which suppress the ovulation cycle for up to 24 hours. Side effects may include drowsiness, headaches, and nausea. Alternatively, daily stimulation during ovulation week can help mitigate your catgirl's behaviors. Two options for stimulation include manual stimulation and insertion. Manual stimulation involves using your hand to simulate a male's presence and actions, while insertion is a more intimate option involving sexual intercourse. After stimulation, provide comfort and support to your catgirl, as this is a stressful and emotional time for her. She may require additional stimulation or affection during her heat, so be prepared to accommodate her needs. This is a great opportunity to further bond with your catgirl. Avoid providing stimulation in your sleeping area and exercise caution when bathing her post-stimulation, as her genitals may be sensitive.

Catgirls require 10-14 hours of sleep daily to maintain their high energy levels. They often nap with their master, providing an opportunity for bonding through petting and stroking. In response, catgirls purr rhythmically, droop their ears, smile, and sigh. They may also snuggle and knead their master's legs, with younger ones occasionally attempting to nurse on a finger or cloth. Sleeping arrangements vary based on personal preference. Some owners opt for a human bed or traditional mat, while others share their bed with their catgirl. Regardless, it's essential to mark her sleeping area with your scent. Allow catgirls to establish their own sleeping habits, as they can be territorial about their resting spots. Strays and ferals typically sleep alone until they adjust to their new environment. Catgirls prefer sleeping nude or in underwear due to clothing's restrictive nature.

Provide your catgirl with basic, natural fiber clothing to accommodate her sensitive skin. Choose undergarments at your discretion. Infuse the garments with your scent by rubbing your face on them before presenting them to her. Dress her in the new clothes to establish your role as her caretaker. Undergarments are typically simple panties and an optional bra. Your catgirl may prefer to go without any. Initially, opt for simple, unrestricted attire like a dress. Upgrade to fancier clothing once she acclimates to her new home. Discard her old clothes to symbolize a fresh start under your care. Offer shoes as needed, but don't force them unless necessary for protection.

Catgirls are curious, bright, and intelligent creatures, with their intellect ranging from that of a human toddler to a late teenager, depending on the breed. As fully functional members of their species, they thrive on creative stimulation and activity, easily distracted by anything. A wide variety of catgirl toys are available, but the best plaything for her is you! She'll enjoy stalking, pouncing, or simply observing you. If she bites, make sure to correct her behavior. More intelligent breeds can learn basic literacy and appreciate books, so encourage her interest in reading for a more fulfilling companionship. Keep your catgirl indoors unless accompanied by you or a family member. Many owners enjoy taking their catgirl to parks for play and socialization. Initially, she may be hesitant to venture outside, so start with controlled environments like your backyard and gradually progress to short trips around the neighborhood. Most catgirls can adapt to traveling in cars, trains, or planes for longer journeys, just remember to bring toys and snacks.

Store sharp objects out of reach until properly trained. Make sure your household plants are cat-safe. Keep your dirty clothes in an air-tight hamper. Your catgirl will likely find the scent of her master intoxicating, so store your dirty clothes in a way that she cannot smell them. Tuck away loose cords. Safely secure chemicals and medicines. For young catgirls, lock doors and windows to prevent unsupervised wandering.

Catgirls are notably clean creatures, but they still need regular baths. Sedentary breeds may need a weekly bath, while more active breeds might require daily baths. Use only approved bathing products for catgirls. A catgirl from a breeder will be accustomed to bathing and may even enjoy it. She might be curious about the tub while you're bathing and may want to join. If she displays odd behaviors or agitation while grooming, she could be expressing discomfort with her cleanliness. Feral and stray catgirls may be more challenging to bathe. If they're frightened of the water, try using a wet cloth or sponge and following the same steps. Showers should generally be avoided, as the water pressure may cause irritation and ear infections. If your catgirl insists on showering with you, encourage her to wear a waterproof shower cap. Your catgirl may want to dry herself or have you help her. Teach your catgirl good bathing habits, as she will eventually learn to bathe herself. Bath time should be an enjoyable experience for both of you or a source of pride for her when she bathes independently.

A catgirl takes great pride in her appearance, often spending significant time grooming herself and comparing her looks to other catgirls. Breeders teach catgirls basic grooming skills, such as using a hairbrush and caring for their ears and tail. To maintain their unique skin and hair, catgirls require specialized grooming supplies, including brushes, hair oil, soaps, and skin conditioners. Human soaps should never be used on catgirls. Feral and stray catgirls may initially struggle with grooming, as they have not been properly taught. If you notice your catgirl attempting to groom herself awkwardly, offer her a brush and let her become familiar with it. Establishing clear boundaries between your possessions and hers is crucial for building trust and acceptance. When grooming your catgirl for the first time, start gently by brushing her hair from the crown to the back of her head, being cautious of snags around the ears. As she begins to purr in contentment, continue brushing until her hair is neat and her ear tufts are smooth. Praise her during and after the process, and show her the results in a mirror. She will soon learn to groom herself. Use grooming sessions as bonding time with your catgirl, but be careful not to spoil her. Catgirls are particularly possessive of their tails and usually prefer to groom them independently. Attempting to brush a catgirl's tail without permission will result in aggressive behavior. If your catgirl trusts you enough to allow you to groom her tail, treat the opportunity with respect and care.

To maintain a healthy catgirl, adhere to a specific diet and exercise routine. Ensure 50% of her diet consists of low-fat proteins like chicken, fish, and beef, 40% fresh fruits and vegetables, 8% grains, and no more than 2% sugary treats. Avoid alcohol and maintain a consistent meal schedule without indulging her begging. When dining with your catgirl, provide her a separate bowl. Intelligent breeds may enjoy mimicking utensil use, but don't force it if she's uninterested. Encourage activity and well-cared-for catgirl will reward you in numerous ways.

Many catgirls are initially taught to use litter pans for waste elimination. By adulthood, responsible breeders usually have them toilet trained, requiring only basic instruction on flushing and locating cleaning supplies. However, if your catgirl is a stray or from a shelter, she may not be fully toilet trained. To address this, calmly place her on the toilet when she shows signs of needing to eliminate, such as squatting. Gently hold her in place until she finishes, then demonstrate proper wiping. She will quickly learn the process for clean and safe waste disposal. Despite training, occasional accidents may occur. Be gentle with your catgirl, as accidents can be more embarrassing for her than for you.
