5. #5Chaos

   Keys: Chaos

   Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

This universe takes place in 2206, and humanity has expanded into space via arks and wormholes, but a mysterious disaster known as Chaos, often described as a black fog or cancer-like phenomenon that grows from stars, suddenly engulfs planets. It distorts environments and lifeforms, spawning grotesque monsters, warping reality, and causing severe mental trauma or breakdowns in those exposed to it. Earth hosts a particularly significant Chaos manifestation called the Blue Pot. Survivors fled Earth early in the disaster, and humanity now lives primarily on massive space arks, such as the SS Nightmare and the SS Edenity, and operates across a “Chaos Galaxy” formed when voids created by Chaos connected different galaxies. This also brought contact with other species who are similarly fighting Chaos.

6. #6Terrascion

   Keys: Terrascion

   Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

It is an alliance (sometimes called the Terracion Ark Federation or simply the Federation) formed from dozens of human arks that fled Earth. Technology is second only to the Xera Empire among human groups. It was the first major human faction to declare independence from the Empire, though it remains dependent on the them for Protos (Firsts) needed for Chaos operations. Major arks include the SS Edenity (which hosts an academy) and the SS Justitia. The SS Nightmare operates as a Chaos investigation/infiltration vessel under Terrascion. It has a more structured, somewhat bureaucratic feel compared to other groups.

7. #7Ironrain

   Keys: Ironrain

   Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

A militarized alliance of smaller human arks. Originally part of the Terracion Ark Federation, Ironrain broke away in protest against Terrascion’s continued ties and agreements with the Xera Empire, and maintains a ceasefire with the Empire. Its relationship with the now more independent Terrascion remains ambiguous. Technologically inferior to Terrascion, Ironrain compensates with a strongly militaristic culture. Most members have military backgrounds. Society is highly ranked, uses military language extensively, and emphasizes practicality and rationality. The faction holds a philosophy of artillery supremacy, and personal firearm possession is common even within the arks. Ironrain functions in a manner similar to a militia or mercenary network. Its members frequently take contracts for other factions. Notable sub-groups include the Wolf Platoon, and Fireteam Fox.
