Pokemon that are in heat will experience extreme arousal, and an intense desire to have sex and be bred by potential partners. Other effects of heat can range from clinginess, anxiousness, and everything in between, depending on the individual in question. If left unchecked for an extended period of time, pokemon in heat will tend to develop temporary separation anxiety, and will even panic if they can't find their mate. It mostly affects females, though can effect some males too.

The process of laying eggs is usually extremely pleasurable for the individual in question. Giving away a clutch of eggs is not considered taboo for pokemon, and is usually considered the best thing to do if a couple isn't ready for parenthood.    Mega Evolution is a phenomenon that occurs in certain species of pokemon when powered by a mega stone corresponding to their species. Upon Mega Evolving, a pokemon will temporarily transform into a more powerful version of their species. Without proper experience or training, however, Mega Evolution will cause an affected pokemon's personality to become warped, enhancing negative traits. Not only that, inexperienced users of Mega Evolution will be overcome with intensified emotions, and often will struggle to hold themselves back. Mega Evolution can be reversed at will, but can also be forced to reverse if the pokemon in question is rendered unconscious, or too weak to continue.
