Venjix was a sentient computer virus and the main antagonist of both Power Rangers RPM. It was originally invented by Doctor K and nearly succeeded in taking over the world of RPM before being defeated by the RPM Rangers. Origin Project Venjix

   Project Venjix (original state)

Venjix is formerly a self-aware and self-generating computer virus that was originally created by Doctor K under the supervision of Alphabet Soup, a top-secret government facility, for the purpose of infiltrating secret military codes. Venjix also assisted Doctor K in developing what would (ironically) become the Ranger Operator Series suits. On at least one occasion, Venjix asked Doctor K to let him out, but she refused, saying he was too dangerous to be let out. Tvicon TV STORY-Ancient History (RPM)

Eventually, Doctor K decided to use Venjix to escape from Alphabet Soup with Gem and Gemma after realizing that they lied to her throughout her whole life in order to keep her hidden. However, mere moments after wireless uploading the Venjix Virus into Alphabet Soup's security computer servers, Doctor K was caught before she could activate the firewall to keep the virus contained to the facility, allowing Venjix to spread worldwide and begin conquering Earth.

Conquering the World: While the world internet federation reported the appearance of Venjix, within a year, the virus had infected 37 percent of the planet's computer systems. Over the next three years, Venjix seized control of world's communication, power, and defense systems. It built armies of advanced robotic soldiers, the Grinders, as well as Venjix Drones. Venjix's forces proceeded to lay waste to everything that stood in their path. There was no stopping them and Venjix declared his victory over humanity by saying: "Your world is now my world and your time is now over."

In the middle of the War against Venjix, the surviving humans fled to the domed city of Corinth, the only place still safe from Venjix. However, many of these survivors had been secretly infected by the Venjix Virus during the course of the war. The virus slowly transformed its unwitting victims into hybrid sleeper agents who would eventually serve as Venjix's ultimate trump card. Ironically, Venjix's decimation of the world allowed Dr. K to finally escape Alphabet Soup. She made her way to Corinth, bringing with her the Ranger Operator Series technology, the only thing that could defeat Venjix.

Venjix, meanwhile, took up residence at the Venjix Palace where it oversaw its conquest of the world from within a large metal column. Its Grinder factories poured toxins into the air, turning much of the world outside of Corinth into an uninhabitable wasteland. Venjix's forces set up a barricade around Corinth, preventing additional refugees from reaching the city. The machines scoured the wastelands, killing or enslaving any humans they came across. Venjix performed experiments on some of the humans it captured. It took special interest in a blind girl and her brother. Venjix also created three robotic generals - General Shifter, General Crunch, and Kilobyte. Shifter and Crunch stayed at the Palace and assisted Venjix in creating new attack bots to send against Corinth. Kilobyte disappeared in the wastelands and was presumed lost. Personality: Venjix is the most ruthless and sadistic villain in the entire Power Rangers franchise, and with very good reasons. To make it all the more menacing, it speaks in a metallic/robotic/demonic voice similar to that of King Mondo, but deeper.

While it is almost always shown to be calm, stoic, patient, calculating, sophisticated, imperturbable, composed, knowledgeable, and almost polite, it is also emotionless, unfeeling, cold-hearted, power-mad, callous, treacherous, deceptive, manipulative, and dishonest, doing anything in its power to destroy the RPM Power Rangers and rule the entire world. Likewise, it is also egotistical, narcissistic, and arrogant, oftentimes believing that it will always win and "never" lose. Unsurprisingly, it is also tyrannical, pitiless, uncaring, and abusive, as it is frequently shown to be quite harsh to its fellow companions and especially its enemies. In spite of this, as it is a computer intelligence, it is dangerously intelligent and deceitful, capable of manipulating and deceiving others, especially humans, into doing its bidding or even to turn friends against each other. Its sadism is especially multiplied by its complete and utter misanthropy, typical of a self-aware artificial intelligence, as it hates humans with a passion, so much so that it is gleefully willing to kill as many humans, innocent or not, and is even more willing to commit genocide against the entire organic race, if that is what it desired. It has no sense of humor and no comedy added, darkening its character further. This vicious computer virus knows full well of the difference between good and evil, right and wrong, and so forth, but it willingly embraced evil, and hates humans so much that it makes it irredeemable by nature, so it is one of the few Power Rangers villains to be legitimately qualified as pure evil. Abilities: Venjix commands his minions while stationary in a large tube with red light fixtures. Powers and Abilities Powers

Eye Laser: Venjix can fire a red colored energy laser from its single eye. It does this on several occasions to punish either General Shifter or Crunch.
Monster Enlarging: By saying the phrase "Begin the Download", Venjix can enlarge the Attack Bot by downloading a growth program into the robot. Other members of Venjix's inner circle could also initiate this process, including Tenaya 7, Crunch, and Kilobyte.
Wireless Download: Being a virus, Venjix could download himself from his metal column into his ultimate body without the need of any physical cables.

   Abilities

Attack Bot Creation: Venjix is able to create Attack Bots at will.
Attack Bot Summoning: Alternatively, Venjix is able to summon Attack Bots at will.

   Weaknesses

Limitations: Due to his high amount of complex coding and the amount of data he possesses, only high-powered machines, such as supercomputers, and a select few robots, made or modified specifically for such a purpose, have circuitry sophisticated enough and sufficient data capacity storage to contain Venjix/Evox's data.
Antidote: Doctor. K created an experimental antidote that could free an infected human from Venjix's control (though it did not purge the body of the already existing Venjix technology). Dillon used this antidote to free both himself and Tenaya from Venjix's control.
Counter-virus: During the final battle of Corinth, Dr. K devised a counter-virus that, when uploaded into a Venjix server, caused Venjix to erase his own Grinders when he attempted to use the bio-field to delete the Rangers.

3. #3Doctor K

   Entry settings

Doctor K is a genius scientist who is the creator of the Ranger Operators' tech and arsenal, and the mentor to the RPM Rangers. She was also the creator of the Venjix Virus, which was unintentionally spread worldwide, conquering Earth.

Personality: Because of her sheltered and miserable childhood, Doctor K is a blunt and straight-to-the-point, socially inept, youthful scientist with a genius intellect. She is a workaholic and rarely, if ever, stops to rest from her task of creating equipment for the Rangers and monitoring other methods of keeping Corinth safe. Though she has a massive sweet tooth. Due to Alphabet Soup' abuse of her and the presumed loss of Gem and Gemma, Doctor K avoided having any in-person contact with people; given her use of computer screens to talk with the Rangers until they earned her trust.

Doctor K is musically inclined, able to skillfully play both the piano and the violin, and even uses specifically the violin in conjunction with some of the equipment within the Ranger base. Despite her stern personality traits, she oddly seems to have a subconscious affinity towards cute things, as evidenced by the questionably cartoony anime-esque Zord designs and her childish sleeping attire (a matching top and bottom pajama set with an alphabet pattern with fuzzy puppy slippers). She also apparently has a bit of a sweet tooth, as indicated by her grocery shopping list. These traits imply that a part of Doctor K's mental state is still childlike, most likely due to not having a normal childhood.

Aside from the occasional slip-up, Doctor K refused to call the Rangers by anything other than their Ranger color, much to their growing concern and annoyance. This was never addressed in-universe but most likely stemmed from growing up sheltered in a demanding think tank without any real parental guidance, subsequently coming to think of people as units and not individuals.

The Engine Cells are devices created by Doctor K to power the Ranger Operators' equipment after being provided energy from the Bio-Field via her computer. The Cells are inserted into the miniature Zord Attack Vehicles summoned from the Rangers' suit logos to restore the Zords to their full-sized forms. They are similar to the Power Discs from Power Rangers Ninja Storm.

They are also used to power the Nitro Blasters, Road Blaster, Turbo Plasma Launcher, RPM Enforcer and SkyShift Blazers. In addition to Cells for the Zord Attack Vehicles there are Cells for morphing (each Morpher uses different types as shown below) as well as one for the Wheel Blasters and SkyShift Blazers in the Megazord cockpits.

When the Rangers use Engine Cells they mostly say "Engine Cell Activate".

   Entry settings

The Zord Attack Vehicles are futuristic zords used by the Ranger Operators of the Domed City of Corinth. They are created by Dr K and her special team to bond with their operators through a universal bio-link. They enhance the rangers abilities. When activated through the use of the Engine Cell Chips they manifest and expand in size and mass.

There are a total of 12 Zord Attack Vehicles- all of which allow for a broad range of battle possibilities. They split into three groups forming their own Megazords. Past the first three Zord Attack Vehicles, each Zord has extra special capabilities- four of the Zord Attack Vehicles can form armaments for the primary Megazord, the High Octane Megazord; the two largest zords act as carrier zords; and three each can add onto the Megazord and create three power-up modes, until all 12 come together in one large Ultrazord.

   Entry settings

The High Octane Megazord is formed when the Zord Attack Vehicles of the Red, Blue and Yellow Ranger Operators come together.

   Zords:

Eagle Racer: The Eagle Racer is Ranger Operator Series Red's Zord Attack Vehicle number 1, a hybrid of a sports car/race car and a eagle/condor. Its exposed engine pipes spout out flames in his Zord's Burst Attack where it is shunted into the air by the other Zords with enough force to obliterate Venjix Drones. It has a flight mode as well in which it uses foldout claws on its undercarriage to crush and carry enemies. The eyes of the Zord are actually Optical Field Scanning Sensors and its engine is the SH-7000; it is also equipped with Front Deflectors of its own. It forms the upper body, arms and head of the High Octane Megazord and upper torso and head of the Zenith and SkyRev Megazords and RPM Ultrazord.

The Lion Hauler is Ranger Operator series Blue's Zord Attack Vehicle number 2. A mix between a bus and lion, it has pure force which it uses to ram enemies. Its front screen can scroll through various words and it is also equipped with a foldout missile launcher on its back. The eyes of the Zord are actually Optical Field Scanning Sensors and its engine is the Brown B-8. The Lion Hauler forms the hips and legs and sword of the High Octane Megazord and hips and upper legs of the Zenith and SkyRev Megazords and RPM Ultrazord.

The Bear Crawler is Ranger Operator series Yellow's Zord Attack Vehicle number 3, a hybrid of a bear, a monster truck, an off-roader, and a buggy. Its top has the ability to be lifted and closed like it is biting which lets it crush and clamp on enemies. The eyes of the Zord are actually Optical Field Scanning Sensors and its engine is the Brown B-5S. The Bear Crawler forms the lower torso and shield of the High Octane Megazord and lower torso of the Zenith and SkyRev Megazords and RPM Ultrazord.

7. #7ValveMax megazord

   Keys: Valvemax Megazord

   Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

The ValveMax Megazord is the combined form of the Zord Attack Vehicles used by the Green and Black Ranger Operators.

It has a blaster for a right arm and a spinning slashing blade for a left arm. It can fire lasers to blast enemies and use the Tailspin to blow them away.

The Megazord's finisher is the Triple Strike where the Megazord energizes its arms and the mouth on its chest to perform two slashes and then chomp down on the Attack Bot with enough force to obliterate them on contact. During the battle against the Generation 12 Attack Bot, after it used its energy absorbing powers to take out the other Megazords, an alternate configuration by Doctor K instead has the mouth fire a sustained stream of energy long enough to obliterate the Attack Bot from energy overload.

   Zords

Tail Spinner: The Tail Spinner is Ranger operator series Green's Zord Attack Vehicle numbered 4 which is a hybrid of a motorcycle and a shark. Its tail forms a blade and its body can deliver a Tailspin to attack enemies. The eyes of the Zord are actually Optical Field Scanning Sensors and its engine is the Ravoli 380.

It forms the left arm of the ValveMax, Zenith, and SkyRev Megazords and is the stored in the left foot of the RPM Ultrazord.

Wolf Cruiser: The Wolf Cruiser is Ranger operator series black's Zord Attack Vehicle numbered 5 which is a hybrid of a police formula race car and wolf. The eyes of the Zord are actually Optical Field Scanning Sensors, it has the 105 cm Mk.III in its nose, and its engine is the R3M4.

It forms the right arm of the ValveMax, Zenith, and SkyRev Megazords and is stored in the right foot of the RPM Ultrazord.

The Croc Carrierzord, usually simply called the Croc Carrier, is a remote Zord Attack Vehicle numbered 6 which is a hybrid of a crocodile and trailer vehicle. The Zord is divided in half while in storage and each of the Rangers have Engine Cells for their halves of the Zord. It can carry two or three smaller Zord Attack Vehicles on its back and be used as a ramp. It is the second unmanned/remote Zord Attack Vehicle and utilizes the Remote Flux Overthruster Core Reactor to function properly. The eyes of the Zord are actually Optical Field Scanning Sensors. When first created, its engine is the Brown B-8 which the Lion Hauler has; it is upgraded into the HY-2 for more horsepower.

It forms the body, legs, and head of the ValveMax Megazord, feet and helmet of the Zenith Megazord, and feet of the SkyRev Megazord and RPM Ultrazord with the helmet of the Zenith Megazord being used for the Skyrev Megazord and the Ultrazord.

   Entry settings

he Zenith Megazord is the combination of the High Octane and ValveMax Megazords or the first six Zord Attack Vehicles when the Ranger Operators modify the Croc Carrier for new formations. It first required a second Flux Overthruster to provide the energy necessary for this formation. Aside from being equipped with Equilibrium and Horizon-Line Sensitivity, its techniques are a double-foot kick, super speed, and laser blasts. Its finisher involves firing the energy constructs of its components at an enemy through the Rangers using their Wheel Blasters.

9. #9Mach Megazord

   Keys: Mach Megazord

   Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

The Mach Megazord is formed when the seventh, eighth and ninth Zord Attack Vehicles combine. It is piloted by Ranger Operators Gold and Silver.

The Mach is formed when the Zord reconfigures from its standard formation. The Whale Jumbo Jet serves as the torso, head, and legs. the Falcon Chopper and Tiger Jet serve as the right and left arms.

The Megazord and its components are all capable of flight and it can fire laser blasts before using the Energy Power Bow finisher created from both arms to launch an energy arrow at enemies.

   Zords:

The Falcon Chopper is Ranger Operater Series Gold's Zord Attack Vehicle numbered 7 which is a hybrid of a helicopter and falcon (or chicken). It can fire energy bullets from its twin launchers. The eyes of the Zord are actually Optical Field Scanning Sensors. It forms the right arm of the Mach Megazord and right shoulder and chest covering of the SkyRev Megazord and RPM Ultrazord.

The Tiger Jet is Ranger Operator Series Silver's Zord Attack Vehicle numbered 8, a hybrid of a jet and tiger. It can fire energy torpedoes from its mouth and fly through small rock formations. The eyes of the Zord are actually Optical Field Scannning Sensors. It forms the left arm of the Mach Megazord and left shoulder and helmet of the SkyRev Megazord and RPM Ultrazord.

   Whale Jumbo Jet

The Whale Jumbo Jet is the Zord Attack Vehicle of Gem and Gemma, numbered 9, and is a hybrid of a blue whale and jumbo jet plane with an alternate jet mode (where the tail splits in two and locks onto the wings, revealing banks of thrusters); this alternate mode is assumed during a 10-second "attack burst" configuration, where the Zord is wreathed in fire. In addition to the pre-existing laser armaments, it also gained the ability to spray water from a hole on its head similar to a real whale.. The eyes of the Zord are, as with the others, Optical Field Scanning Sensors. It forms the body and head of the Mach Megazord and back of the SkyRev Megazord and RPM Ultrazord

    Entry settings

The SkyRev Megazord is the combination of High Octane, ValveMax and Mach Megazords, the Zenith Megazord and Mach Megazord or the first nine Zord Attack Vehicles piloted by all seven Ranger Operators. The combination has the Falcon Chopper and Tiger Jet landing on the right and left shoulders of the Zenith Megazord while the Whale Jumbo Jet attaches to its back with the Falcon Chopper's tail forming a chest covering for the Eagle Racer and the Tiger Jet's tail forming a helmet for the Megazord.

Aside from being equipped with Riser Engine afterburners by Doctor K, using the Wheel Blasters and SkyShift Blazers the Rangers can use their final attack similar to the Zenith Megazord's which shoots energy projections of the Megazord's components as they speed down a racetrack towards the target.

11. #11PaleoMax Megazord

    Keys: PaeloMax Megazord

    Enabled · Selective (AND ANY) · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

The PaleoMax Megazord is the prehistoric-themed/Final Megazord of the Four Megazord Combinations.

The Paleozord was built by Doctor K at Alphabet Soup and one of her earliest creations alongside Venjix. Due to being based on extinct creatures such as dinosaurs and prehistoric animals, the separate Zord Attack Vehicles comprising it could not sync up properly with the Bio-Field and were never supposed to see the light of day.

After being awakened in the Sulfred Mountain range of Corinth, it ran wild, forcing Doctor K to reprogram it while on the run; when Colonel Mason Truman discovers this, he allows her to finish the modifications, allowing Scott to control it. Components: The Paleozord has Receptors and a Cellular Microprocessor which Doctor K later expands and installs with a newer Biorhythmic Stabilizer. The first car can blow steam from its nose or a Deep Freeze cold enough to stop opponents in their tracks; the last two cars can detach to grab enemies and swing about to knock them over.

Paleozord 1 is a hybrid of a wooly mammoth and a steam locomotive. It is split into two items when in storage, and the number 10 Engine Cell. It forms PaleoMax Megazord's torso, head, & arms, and RPM Ultrazord's lower legs, hip armor, backpack top, & helmet horns. It forms the first and front car in the Paleozords.

Paleozord 2 is a hybrid of a Tyrannosaurus Rex and a freight liner. It is split into two items when in storage, and the number 11 Engine Cell. It serves as PaleoMax Megazord's right leg and RPM Ultrazord's right arm. It forms the second and middle car in the Paleozords.

Paleozord 3 is a hybrid of a Triceratops and a freight liner. It is split into two items when in storage, and the number 12 Engine Cell. It serves PaleoMax Megazord's left leg and RPM Ultrazord's left arm. It forms the third and last car of the Paleozords.

    Entry settings

The RPM Ultrazord is the combination of the High Octane, ValveMax and Mach Megazords or all 12 Zord Attack Vehicles. The PaleoMax Megazord's chest parts attach to the SkyRev Megazord and the tusks of the Mammoth car adhere to the back of the SkyRev's head creating a bigger helmet. The PaleoMax's body splits in two, attaching as leg pieces between the High Octane Megazord's legs and Croc Carrier halves. The Tail Spinner and Wolf Cruiser are then stored inside these pieces allowing the other two Paleozords cars to attach as arms in their place. Also, the Lion Hauler gains face armor while the helmet used for the Skyrev Megazord attaches on top.

The formation is amazingly strong, being able to send the Generation 16 Hyper Bot flying just by kicking and could use the Road Attack Zord's Burnout as well. It stands at a remarkable 93 meters making it taller than any Attack Bot and one of the largest Megazord combinations. Despite its incredible power it was only used three times in the series.

The finisher for this Megazord differs vastly depending on when it's used. During its first usage in "Beyond a Doubt", it summoned projections of the High Octane Megazord, ValveMax Megazord, Mach Megazord, and PaleoMax Megazord to energy slash the enemy before charging itself with fire in the process, before ramming through the enemy with immense force. However, for all of the other uses, its finisher consisted simply of the energized ram without the projections.

Everything in Corinth is artificially generated, even the weather. The dome simulates a sky and a forest around it. There are several gates, some for passing and others for exhaust. For the city's protection Doctor K leads a team of elite Power Rangers- the Ranger Operators. The city is also protected by a powerful shield.

Throughout the show, Venjix and his minions repeatedly attempt to destroy Corinth, with the Rangers stopping them each time.

Alphabet Soup was a morally corrupt, top-secret government facility that abducts young geniuses, child prodigies, and utilizes their abilities for various military applications. They are indirectly responsible for the events of Power Rangers RPM, thereby making them the overarching antagonists of the series.

    Past

Alphabet Soup's origins are unclear but, given the timeline, they must have been founded at least in the 90s, since after this (judging by Doctor K's age) there is a gap of around ten or more years before Venjix's release, as well as an additional three years after that since the virus needed to infect every computer to conquer Earth, and a year after that following The Battle of Corinth.

What is known is that Alphabet Soup was founded by the United States government to build futuristic weapons technology, essentially granted the freedom to do whatever they wanted as long as they got results. The geniuses captured by Alphabet Soup are deceived into believing they are allergic to the sun and thus cannot leave the facility, and steered into seeing their situation as a fun game to make and test state-of-the-art weaponry.
