Alpha 5 is the fifth model of the Alpha Series who was put into operation to assist the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Alpha 5 was created by King Lexian on the planet Edenoi thousands of years ago; his memory banks contain many fond memories of that planet, but we never see those memories so we don't know what his "childhood" was like there. Alpha's close friend from his days living on Edenoi is Lerigot, the wizard of Liaria. No information has ever been given as to when and how they met, however. Alpha's personality throughout most of his appearances was kind, loving, and innocent. He is also quite panicky and goes 'ai yi yi yi yi yi yi!' when in a panicked state; this has become a well-known catchphrase for most of the Alpha robots. Surprisingly, while Alpha 5 is a robot, he has an amazing range of emotions that make him very humanlike. Alpha also gets very sad when the Rangers leave him alone; this is shown in "The Wanna-Be Ranger", "A Friend in Need" and "The Wedding". This is also shown in Alpha's Magical Christmas and its audio book adaptation Lord Zedd's Holiday Humbug. At times, Alpha can also act very paternalistic, making him sort of the "mother hen" to the Rangers and some others

   Entry settings

William "Billy" Cranston is the first Blue Ranger of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers in the 'modern era' Retroactively, he is also referred to as the Mighty Morphin Blue Ranger or Blue Mighty Morphin Ranger, though these are terms of address referencing the show as opposed to proper labels. In his youth, he was good friends with Eugene 'Skull' Skullovich, though the friendship eventually soured and became more antagonistic. He is a frequent target of Bulk and Skull's bullying. Billy was one of the five "teenagers with attitude" selected by Zordon to become the original Power Rangers, along with close friends Jason Lee Scott, Zack Taylor, Trini Kwan, and Kimberly Hart. Billy became the Blue Mighty Morphin Power Ranger due to his intelligence and patience. He was given both the Triceratops Power Coin and the Triceratops Dinozord.

Billy began the series as the stereotypical "nerd," speaking almost exclusively in technobabble throughout Season 1. His closest friend throughout the series was Trini, to whom he could communicate most comfortably and effectively. He was initially very insecure about himself. Initially shy and insecure, Billy was still a highly intelligent individual that was always eager to learn, this resulted in Billy often speaking in what could only be described as technical jargon during his teenage years, talking with a more scientific terminology even in the most casual conversations, with only his friend Trini being able to understand him most of the time. Despite this, he wasn't a total know-it-all, and never tried to rub his intelligence in other people's faces. During his time as a Blue Ranger, Billy slowly grew more confident and sought out to improve himself physically. One major example of his improvement was that he was able to overcome his ichthyophobia, going from being afraid of eating a fish to fighting a giant toxic fish monster, which allowed him to later go on a fishing trip with Ernie.

Trini Kwan iss the Yellow Ranger of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

Retroactively, she was also referred to as the Mighty Morphin Yellow Ranger or Yellow Mighty Morphin Ranger, though these are in reference to the show, as opposed to proper labels.

Trini Kwan is a 16-year-old daughter of a Taiwanese doctor and a Korean woman, who has lived at eight military bases for the past fifteen years due to her father's work. She also has Chinese and Japanese traditions, and is a resident of Angel Grove and a student at Angel Grove High School. She was chosen by Zordon and his robot assistant Alpha 5 to be the Yellow Ranger. Trini Kwan was working out at Ernie's Juice Bar & Gym along with her friends. Suddenly the ground began to shake and Trini and her friends were transported to the Command Center. There awaited quite the sight, a blue head floating inside an energy tube and a young, fully-sentient and multi-functional automaton with a head in the shape of a flying saucer. And even more incredibly, this being called Zordon, had selected them to become Power Rangers. Kimberly and Zack blew Zordon off, but Trini, Billy and Jason lingered. Trini is a kind, thoughtful and compassionate girl. She is also the second most mathematical and scientific of the original Rangers, next to Billy Cranston. She alone was able to understand Billy's technical jargon early on, and loved to assist Billy in the creation of many of his devices, including the signal blocker that released the Dinozords from Lord Zedd's control. Trini also cared greatly about the environment and would lead campaigns to save important pieces of history, such as the Forest Spirit statue. She does not have many fears, but suffers from chronic acrophobia (fear of heights). Trini is in her core a peacemaker who will fight only if provoked, and is also very studious, with a strong passion for mathematics and sciences.
