1. #1Ruby

   Keys: Ruby Rose, Rose, Ruby

   Entry settings

Appearance: Ruby is a fair-skinned girl with silver eyes and neck-length black hair with red tips. Her Beacon Academy uniform consists of a black dress with a high-collared blouse with red-trimmed sleeves, a waist cincher with red lacing, and a skirt with red lining and a red petticoat. She wears black tights that fade to red, black combat boots with red laces, and a red hooded cloak held by cross-shaped pins. Her outfit includes a black belt with a silver emblem, a pocket, and a row of bullets.

Personality: Ruby has a romanticized view of being a Huntress, inspired by fairy tales and heroes, and she prioritizes others' well-being over her own emotions. She's straightforward and often misses social cues, especially sarcasm, due to her open nature. A self-proclaimed "dork" about weapons, she designed Crescent Rose and is highly intelligent, though sometimes "overboard" in her creations. Ruby has a strong sense of moral justice, influenced by stories from her childhood and her parents' teachings. Though she dislikes attention, she still strives to be a Huntress, despite her preference for solitude or being with her sister, Yang. Ruby's childish and sometimes blunt nature makes her struggle with new people, but her enthusiastic personality helps her form close friendships with those who share her interests.

Abilities: Ruby trained at Signal Academy, where her skills exceeded those of her peers, especially with Crescent Rose, which requires strength and adaptability. She gained attention after stopping a robbery at a Dust shop, earning her early acceptance into Beacon Academy. At Beacon, she developed as a decisive leader, coordinating attacks against tough enemies like the Nevermore and Roman's Paladin-290. Ruby's greatest strength lies in her ability to inspire hope, rallying others with her words and actions. She excels in balancing herself in tough situations and possesses impressive physical strength for her size, demonstrated when she dragged a giant Nevermore up a cliff. Her fighting style is dynamic, relying on momentum, her Semblance, and Crescent Rose's recoil to deliver powerful blows and create slipstreams or whirlwinds. In close combat, she overwhelms opponents with rapid slashes. Ruby is also a skilled seamstress, having made her own outfit.

Weapon: Ruby's weapon of choice is Crescent Rose. Ruby is self-admittedly obsessed when it comes to weapons, which shows in her complex design and craftsmanship of her weapon, a High-Caliber Sniper-Scythe which she designed herself at Signal, as well as her eye for detail when observing other people's weapons and tools. This weapon can transform between a scythe and a sniper rifle and can fire Dust rounds in either form with massive force. Ruby has proven to have excellent marksmanship.

Semblance: Ruby's Semblance, Petal Burst, allows her to dash with an inhuman speed in whatever direction she chooses, often leaving trails of rose petals in her wake. Ruby is capable of creating powerful tailwinds with her Semblance; if she gathers enough momentum, the resulting turbulence is capable of lifting people off the ground.

Weakness: Ruby is heavily reliant on Crescent Rose. In contrast to her sister, her hand-to-hand capabilities were rather poor, making her easy to be taken down by mere grunts when unarmed. Without her weapon, there is not much she could do in a fight, and her best bet is to run away with her speed. Her cape, on occasion, has been exploited and used against her, notably during the Beacon initiation when a Nevermore pinned her cape to the ground with its feather-spears.

2. #2Yang

Keys: Yang, Yang Xiao Long, Xiao Long

   Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

Appearance: Yang is a tall, fair-skinned young woman with lilac eyes and long golden hair that glows fiery when her Semblance activates. She wears a tan midriff-baring jacket over a yellow crop top with her emblem, along with a brown belt, pleated waist covering, and an asymmetrical white cloth. Her outfit includes black shorts, orange over-the-knee socks, brown knee-high boots, a purple bandanna on her left knee, an orange scarf, and black fingerless gloves.

Personality: Yang is a confident, straightforward, and adventurous young woman, often described as someone who would "teach by pushing you in." She is cheerful, sociable, and fond of joking even in battle, with her love of adventure driving her to become a Huntress. Her fighting style mirrors her personality—fiery and brawler-like—relying heavily on her anger, which can make her predictable. She is very protective of her hair, though she allows Ruby to play with it. Despite her carefree nature, Yang is mature and nurturing, especially toward Ruby, often acting motherly and protective. She extends this care to her teammates, particularly Blake, though she secretly struggles with abandonment issues tied to her mother. Clever and playful, she enjoys tricking others, whether in games or casual interactions.

Abilities: Yang’s fighting style is aggressive and resembles Muay Thai, enhanced by her weapon, Ember Celica. She is highly agile and the physically strongest on her team, capable of feats like sending a man flying with a punch or holding a Nevermore’s jaws open. With her Aura unlocked, she has exceptional durability, allowing her to withstand heavy attacks and keep fighting, as shown in the Vytal Tournament. Her Semblance lets her absorb damage and strike back with greater power, though she tends to rely on it too much, a flaw noted by her father.

Weapons: Yang wields Ember Celica, a pair of gauntlets that retract into bracelets. She combines punches with explosive blasts for close to mid-range attacks, using the weapon’s recoil to boost her strength, speed, and mobility while also reloading the gauntlets. Ember Celica also serves as armor for defense in unarmed combat.

Semblance: Yang’s Semblance, Burn, allows her to absorb kinetic energy from attacks and redirect it with doubled force. When activated, her eyes turn red and her hair glows, sometimes igniting in flames. While anger doesn’t trigger the ability, it can cause her to use it impulsively. She typically relies on her Semblance to end fights after taking enough hits to overwhelm her opponent.

Weakness: Yang’s Semblance, while powerful, has key weaknesses. She still takes damage when powering it up, and overusing it can deplete her Aura, leaving her vulnerable. Activating it too early also weakens her defenses. Skilled opponents can exploit her frustration, especially dodgers like Neo, who make her attacks predictable. Her barehanded style limits her reach, putting her at a disadvantage against agile or kick-focused fighters, though she has adapted over time. Additionally, her emotions can trigger her Semblance unintentionally. As her father Taiyang notes, it can become a liability if opponents evade or outlast her enhanced attacks, leaving her exhausted and exposed.

3. #3Weiss

   Keys: Weiss, Weiss Schnee, Schnee

   Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

Appearance: Weiss is a pale-skinned young woman with pale blue eyes, long white hair often tied in an off-center ponytail or braid, and a scar over her left eye from fighting an Arma Gigas. She is 4'11" (5'3" in heels) and wears a white-to-pale-blue strapless dress with snowflake-like stitching, layered tulle, and a matching bolero with red lining, ruffled collar, and the Schnee Crest on the back. Her look is completed with white wedge-heeled boots, a white sash with a pouch, silver earrings, an apple pendant, and an icicle-shaped tiara pinning her hair.

Personality: Weiss grew up in a strict, controlled environment, leaving her both rebellious and lonely, which shaped her cold and prickly personality. She takes pride in the Schnee name but resents her father’s attitude and the strain caused by constant White Fang attacks. Though often seen as arrogant, irritable, and a "know-it-all," she is also diligent, serious, and tactical, taking her studies and Huntsman training more seriously than her teammates. Over time, Weiss warms up to others, becoming more compassionate and trusting while still retaining her sharp edge. She gradually develops a humorous and whimsical side, participating in team activities and even attempting jokes. Determined to redeem her family’s reputation, Weiss vows to restore honor to the Schnee name by becoming a Huntress and putting others’ needs before her own, ultimately breaking free from her father’s control to find her true self.

Abilities: As the heiress of the Schnee Dust Company, Weiss was trained from childhood to excel, becoming a top-ranking fighter by the Vytal Festival. Her combat style blends fencing and ballet, relying on speed, grace, and precision rather than aggression. She uses her Glyph-based Semblance for offense, defense, support, and mobility, often ricocheting around the battlefield. Skilled with Ice Dust, she also shows adaptability, briefly using guns and dual-wielding with Myrtenaster and Gambol Shroud. Weiss has some medical knowledge, as seen when tending to Nora, and though Ruby usually leads, she is capable of creating effective strategies herself.

Dust Usage: Most notably, Weiss frequently utilizes Dust in battle. She has shown a preference for Ice Dust, only switching types if it provides her with an advantage, such as using Wind Dust against sonic-based attacks or creating certain types of glyphs such as black or time dilation glyphs. She has used Ice Dust to trap enemies, create a trail to push enemies from a height, create a slippery sheet of ice and form pointed ice chunks to use as projectiles.

Weapon: Weiss wields Myrtenaster, a Multi-Action Dust Rapier with a six-slot revolving chamber holding different Dust types. She uses Dust both directly and with her Semblance to create versatile effects in battle. When not channeling Dust, she relies on her speed and precision, striking with quick thrusts that leave opponents little chance to counter.

Semblance: Weiss has the Schnee family Semblance of Glyphs, allowing her to create glyphs that can be used in a variety of ways: create a slippery platform to skate on at high speed, generate midair platforms to manipulate her trajectory in the air and perform limited time dilation that can speed up actions to name a few.

Weaknesses: Weiss has low endurance and stamina, often tiring quickly compared to her teammates, as seen when she struggled to keep up with Ruby in the Emerald Forest. She is also the physically weakest on her team, frequently being knocked out in battles or skirmishes. Additionally, while her Glyphs offer defense, they are not unbreakable and can be shattered under enough force.

4. #4Blake

   Keys: Blake Belladonna, Blake, Belladonna

   Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

Appearance: Blake is a fair-skinned young woman with wavy black hair, amber eyes, and black cat ears as her Faunus trait. At Beacon, she wears a black vest with coattails over a white sleeveless crop top and tight white shorts with zippers. Her outfit includes black-to-purple stockings, low-heeled boots, a detached sleeve on her left arm, ribbon wraps on her forearms, and a loose black scarf. She carries a gray magnetic backpack for her weapon, usually hidden by her hair. A black ribbon with a bow conceals her cat ears, and she wears purple cat-eye style eyeshadow.

Personality: Blake is mellow, reserved, and serious, with a dry sense of humor and strong sense of justice, especially against prejudice toward Faunus. An introvert, she often distances herself with books but becomes passionate when discussing Faunus struggles. Her past with the White Fang left her with trust issues, self-loathing, and a tendency to avoid conflict, though she left after rejecting their violence under Adam. At Beacon, she slowly opens up, becoming more trusting and fun with her teammates. She hides her cat ears under a bow around Humans, and shows catlike traits such as climbing and chasing lasers, and a fondness for tuna.

Abilities: Blake is highly agile, fast, and enduring, able to fight multiple enemies without tiring. Skilled with Gambol Shroud, she strikes with great speed, deflects gunfire, and uses her reflexes to dodge attacks, even at point-blank range. Her fighting style emphasizes evasion and counterattacks, supported by her ability to leap across buildings and moving vehicles. As a Faunus, she has night vision and enhanced hearing, which give her an edge in combat. She also demonstrates Aura control, using Gambol Shroud to release crescent slashes capable of cutting through missiles and heavy machinery.

Weapon: Blake's weapon of choice is Gambol Shroud, a sword that has three forms. When sheathed, the weapon is able to slice opponents in two with its cleaver-like cover. However, when unsheathed, Blake is able to use both a sword and sheath in tandem against her opponents. It can also transform into a gun. Using the black ribbon that extends off the weapon's grip, Blake can convert Gambol Shroud into a kusarigama, a grappling hook to swing herself or her friends, or ensnare or tangle her opponents.

Semblance: Blake’s Semblance, Shadow, lets her create shadow-clones that push her in chosen directions and confuse opponents. Using Dust, she can enhance her clones with elemental effects: Fire Dust creates exploding clones, Ice Dust forms solid ice copies that can trap weapons, Earth Dust makes stone clones, and Lightning Dust allows rapid repositioning.

Weaknesses: Blake’s main weaknesses lie in her weapon and Semblance. When using Gambol Shroud as a kusarigama, disrupting its trajectory or cutting its ribbon can make her lose momentum or fall. Additionally, some Dust-enhanced clones from her Semblance can backfire, such as when an Ice Dust clone was used to knock her aside in battle.
