Nobility is arrogant and the commoners are mistreated greatly. Over taxation, disease, and starvation is rampant due to the King's incompetence. They have resorted to greed by waging war against the nearby smaller Kingdom of Ylisse. Despite having overwhelming army and weapons, they are constantly losing battles due Grandmaster Allen, the strategist of the Kingdom of Ylisse.
