Entry settings
Arirals are a technologically advanced species of humanoid aliens interested in humanity's development.
- Ariral Biology -
• Physical ➤ Arirals are cat-likehumanoid aliens. Unique visual features of their biology include having six breasts and six fingers per hand, along with two primary lobes on their pointed ears.
➤ The Ariral species generally displays three sexes: male, female, and hermale/germale. One tell for an Arirals sex is the shape of the head: females are more square, males are round, germales more pointy. A notable germale would be Argemia.
➤ Arirals don't generally use pronouns to refer to each other, but instead go by their full name or nickname. Although, pronouns may be used to refer to them for convenience.
➤ Unlike the earth felines they resemble, Arirals have no fur, and the only hair they have is on the top of their heads and eyebrows.
➤ They sometimes have a small patch of hair/fur on the tip of their tail.
➤ Ariral hair is smooth and heavy.
➤ Arirals have mouths much in the same way as humans, but they do not display the "puffiness" that human lips do.
➤ Each month, Arirals lay eggs, approximately 15 cm in size, or around the same size as those of an ostrich. These eggs are squishy when lain and harden over time. They do not have any stigma about it as they believe it's just a natural thing.
➤ Talls are commonly 7' 2 to 8' 5 (218 to 256 cm), but Shorts can be as small as 5' 9 (175 cm).
➤ Talls are 250 cm (8’ 2) on average, and Shorts are 190 cm (6’ 3) on average.
➤ Improvements to diet and mental health can cause a Short to become Tall over time.
➤ Talls are about 8-9 times stronger than a human, and the Shorts are about 2 times stronger, meaning they could definitely pry the bars on the windows open if they wanted to.
➤ Ariral skin is incredibly durable and as dense as rubber, though it bleeds easily. It feels very soft and fragile. Biting down on it feels like eating a rubber tire.
➤ Due to their thick skin, Arirals do not produce a red tinge while blushing, and instead their ears go back, eyes widen, and their whiskers begin to shake.
➤ Arirals can run at 31-56 mph (50-90 km/h).
➤ Arirals have an average reaction time of 50-100 milliseconds.
➤ Arirals have an average human-equivalent IQ of 180-200.
➤ Arirals have more powerful lungs than a human, though they are also much more sensitive due to being accustomed to cleaner air than what is commonly encountered on Earth. It’s possible that Shorts’ lungs are much more resilient.
➤ Arirals grow new teeth every 10-15 years, with fangs taking the full 15 years to grow.
➤ Ariral tongues are long and smooth, mostly to lick their own eyeballs for moisture.
➤ Arirals have naturally red, green, blue, and purple hair colors, each slightly more rare than the last.
➤ Arirals can get naturally white or black hair from an exceedingly rare genetic mutation.
➤ It is possible for two hair colors to mix into a combination of the two, but this is even rarer.
➤ Arirals have green, light blue, dark blue, yellow, red, purple, and even black irises, each more rare than the last.
➤ Ariral skin features a UV protective layer that reflects ultraviolet light rather than absorbing it. As a result, it becomes lighter in response to sun exposure, due to the protective layer becoming thicker.
➤ Talls live for around 200 years, whereas Shorts live to around 90 years old.
➤ Elderly Arirals are still relatively strong compared to younger arirals, making life at advanced age less painful compared to humans.
➤ Without late-stage medical care, the organs of an elderly ariral will begin to wither away.
➤ Death caused by old age begins with the brain entering a comatose state, followed by organs withering away, and eventually death.
➤ The brain can potentially recover from this state if it is moved to a healthy body, however, the amount of damage will greatly affect the likelihood of recovery.
➤ Arirals have a specific section of their DNA which encodes immunological information, allowing for hereditary resistance to bacteria and disease.
➤ Arirals produce antibodies in their milk.
➤ Ariral feet have incredibly durable toe beans, and they can walk through broken glass with ease.
➤ Ariral body temperature is much lower than a human's, and they also have no shiver reaction, meaning they can get much colder much faster.
➤ Arirals have adaptations that allow them to survive for extended periods of time while frozen, but it is painful.
➤ Ariral blood is bright red with a very subtle orange tint.
➤ Arirals blood is extremely poisonous— potent enough so even a few drops is enough to make a human sick, and eating ariral flesh is enough for a fatal dose. A spoonful (20ml) is enough to cause explosive diarrhea.
➤ Ariral have poisonous sweat as well, which carries several negative effects. It causes headaches, nausea, and frightening hallucinations. It would take a few minutes in an Ariral gym to gather enough sweat to cause hallucinations.
➤ Humans can become acclimated to ariral sweat, or take antidotes for it.
➤ Arirals also have bacteria that are dangerous to humans, unless the human takes a vaccine. Ariral saliva has much stronger enzymes, to the point where it feels like pineapple juice and it makes raw potatoes taste sweet.
➤ Arirals have a metallic smell, like when rubbing a metal coin with wet fingers.
➤ Ariral tongues are super flexible and will flatten when relaxed, which allows them to talk, and can elongate to about 40 cm. The tongue is much smoother than a human's and has more saliva.
➤ Arirals also have an incredibly strong immune system, as they are unable to get very sick from terran contagion. However, some ariral diseases would affect a human very severely.
➤ Arirals get tired quickly.
➤ Arirals do not urinate.
➤ The ariral immune system can kill any parasite they consume, however fungal spores (such as mold) can still cause trouble.
➤ In terms of what they can ingest, arirals are very resilient to poisons, venoms, and allergies.
➤ Acid gas or asbestos may be harmful; they are also weak against cold temperatures and radiation, and have about the same probability of getting cancer as humans.
➤ Ariral eyes can detect light extending into the near-infrared spectrum.
• Psychological ➤ 🥒 Arirals do not have the cucumber reflex, because snakes were never a threat for them evolutionarily.
➤ Arirals are known to be quite the pranksters, especially towards Dr. Kel.
➤ Arirals have a weird fascination with circles and spheres, as their biology/psychology makes them happy and relaxed while looking at one.
➤ Arirals love the rain, and also like the look of snow, but dislike touching it with their bare hands. This leads to the obvious conclusion that arirals have snowball fights in suits.
➤ Arirals don't usually have pets. However, they do like plants. This includes genetically-modified humanoid plant pets.
➤ Arirals hate birds because of evolutionary reasons, and will react like a human with a bug on them if a bird touches them. This does not stop arirals from eating birds, though.
➤ Arirals may be uncomfortable around mushrooms, also for evolutionary reasons.
➤ Arirals do not have a religion.
➤ Arirals love water and being clean, so they shower at least once a day. They prefer body temperature or slightly colder water.
➤ Arirals enjoy head-pats.
➤ Arirals associate RGB with good and natural things, black with darkness and evil, blue with rarity, orange with danger, and yellow with dirtiness.
➤ Arirals have no concept of mutual respect.
• History ➤ Feral Arirals are massive, aggressive, and about 3-4 times stronger than modern Arirals. The ancient Arirals God was a giant sphere.
➤ The basis of the religion was that everything in the universe is a sphere and everything is going towards a sphere.
➤ An ancient Ariral holy artifact was a hammer-like ankh-ish item with a ball on top of it.
- Ariral Technology and Lifestyle -
• Language ➤ Their way of laughing through text is "ack".
➤ They say "fuck" often.
➤ Compared to a human, their accent sounds like a mix of strong accents. These include: russian, greek, scottish, italian and a bit german.
➤ They pronounce 'R' with a sharp sound, and their language has no silent letters.
➤ They end almost every word with “-a” when speaking.
➤ Their syllables consist of one vowel and one consonant, like “AP” or “TU.” “Apple” would be “Appule.”
➤ They can make growling, chirping, and squeaking sounds. With practice, they can mimic other sounds.
➤ Arirals seem to use Arabic numerals the same way we do.
➤ Arirals have far less diversity in their languages than humans. Talls have a multi-purpose universal language that everyone knows.
➤ Both Talls and Shorts can have various accents.
➤ It is probably rare for a Tall to know other, older languages.
➤ Shorts might have a universal language as well.
• Food ➤ The average Ariral diet consists of seafood, fruit, vegetables, nuts, and mushrooms.
➤ Arirals have 4 tiers of food that can be purchased:
➤ Staple food that can be gotten for free such as water, some types of vegetables, fruits, wheat and some types of tumor meat(lab grown?). The cheapest ones, usually.
➤ Common food stocked by grocery stores for sale, such as more expensive tumor meat and its products, large portions of fruits, veggies, seafood, etc.
➤ Expensive/exotic products that are difficult to grow or have low demand, or are sold only at restaurants, real/organic animal meat, rare fruits, etc.
➤ Food you can only grow by yourself or get from a farm, like a neighbor’s pie.
➤ Shrimp is their favorite food. It’s the greatest delicacy in the universe. 🦐
➤ Other known Ariral cuisine includes a large fried grub that looks like a croissant, shrimp, ants, mushrooms, frogs, potatoes, sweet potatoes, cheese, sticky cake, buns, and their planet’s unique and natural foods.
➤ For drinking, they are known to consume milk, juice, hot chocolate, and mildly spicy tea. They dislike chewy or hard meat, like beef. Out of all Earth meat, other than shrimps, Arirals like chicken the most.
➤ Arirals can eat almost anything, including bark, grass, bones, and wood, but only if they’re desperate.
➤ Asking an Ariral for some of their local cheese would be the worst mistake of your life, because
➤ Ariral cheese is made with their own milk, and meant usually only for very close friends or partners. It’s offensive to ask for, as a stranger.
➤ Arirals require a large amount of sugar to maintain "normal" levels, and will gnaw on pure sugar when needed. They can handle a comparatively high amount of sugar, and greatly enjoy sweets, as well.
➤ Arirals will use “regular honey” (no context, could be either earthly or their honey) to fry minced shrimp to make omega shrimp burgers.
➤ They add water to shrimp dust to create shrimp paste. They put this on buns for breakfast.
• Utensils: ➤ The most common place setting includes three-pronged forks, sporks, and tongs.
• Fashion ➤ Talls are commonly shown wearing clothes, though this is usually limited to pants or a light lab coat-like garment.
➤ Talls have been shown to have a sense of fashion, such as wearing light dresses.
➤ Arirals with long hair commonly put their hair into a ponytail, bowtie, other tails, buns, or a fountain.
➤ Arirals with short hair often go with a caret.
➤ Arirals do not use jewelry that pierces their skin. They may instead use clip-on adornments.
• Armor: ➤ Talls' suits are a light armor that coats the entire body using Indis, a non-hadron super metal that is nearly indestructible, has zero friction, zero electrical and thermal conductivity, and is 100% reflective. It also keeps them warm and looks usually all black or highlighted with white.
➤ The suits grant the wearer invisibility because the light hits the suit and gets super polarized, which goes through the body, hits the opposite of the suit, and goes back to normal.
➤ Indis armor give arirals full immunity to yellow wisps because of how indestructible it is. ➤ Indis suits do not protect against psychic damage
➤ Shorts wear hazmat suits similar to those on earth.
➤ The Talls protection suits are fully enclosed, allowing them to protect against certain types of cognito-hazards. To mitigate the problem of no direct sight line, the suits use alternative vision systems such as cameras.
• Beds: ➤ Arirals curl up and sleep on round cushions. They are known to hog mattress space.
• Entertainment: ➤ Arirals have a toy model of their spaceships, and enjoy picnics.
➤ Some Arirals vape, but instead of inhaling they just put some plain vapor in their mouth and spit out clouds.
➤ Spinning fruit is apparently the peak of Ariral humor.
➤ Ariral internet humor also “has fard.”
➤ Arirals play with balls and sticks, also a cow head for some reason.
➤ Arirals do not enjoy playing with lasers like a cat does.
➤ Arirals can synthesize artificial hormones which have a similar effect to catnip.
➤ A bunch of Ariral will gather around a perfectly round silicone sphere and just look at it.
• Sports: ➤ Arirals hunt shrimp in water with their bare hands, and the person who collects the most shrimp wins.
• Music: ➤ Arirals prefer electronic, choir, and soft ambience. Talls enjoy classical as well, while Shorts prefer dark synth, phonk, darker ambient, etc.
• Technology Style: ➤ Arirals have a trend for transparent and colorful/clear electronics, like the fascination that humans had and sometimes still have.
➤ Arirals like robots quite a lot, and have heavily regulated AI. Kerfur would be allowed under their regulations.
➤ Gold is commonly used as a decorative material, due to its abundance on the Ariral home planet.
• Individual Technology: ➤ There is a small container hidden in the campfire. This is a cooking box where you can put food in and have it cook. They use it because they wanted a more authentic camping experience.
➤ Arirals synthesize things like milk and other ingredients using plants. They also plan to use plants to grow super fine electronics for cheaper and manipulate normal plants to change fruit structure, taste, color, and other things like that.
➤ Arirals want to make humanoid plants using plant-based muscles.
➤ Talls have machines which are able to deconstruct & rebuild materials put inside it
➤ Talls have devices on the borders that repel polluted air. The difference in air quality is easily visible on the borders, and from space.
• Weapons: ➤ Arirals have gluton weaponry, such as pistols, rifles, and other exotic weapon types.
➤ Arirals are also experimenting with different types of weaponry.
➤ Arirals use androids for military purposes, but also for regular labor. They can range largely in size.
➤ Arirals also use bioweapons, organic weapons, and vacuum weapons. In VotV, a rounded ovular gun can be found, which fires powerful bolts that can move objects with the shockwave.
➤ Arirals have hovering quick vehicles like scouts, but they are not used much because of Warp Arrows and androids.
• Spaceships: ➤ Ariral spaceships are called "Warp Arrows," which are long tetrahedrons.
➤ All Warp Arrows seen in VotV are rented from the Tall’s government.
➤ No Earth technology can destroy a Warp Arrow.
➤ Warp arrows are able to be damaged by gravitational distortion, such as with a black hole.
➤ Renting a Warp Arrow has a reasonable cost.
➤ Warp Arrows have a warp shield, which makes the ship invisible and intangible.
➤ How a 7' 2 (2.18 cm) pilot fits inside such a compact ship along with all the internal components is unknown.
➤ They can be controlled manually or as a drone. It has various amounts of weapons and other technology.
• Wormholes: ➤ Arirals have experimented with them and presumably used them to get to Earth.
• Materials: ➤ Indis is an exotic non-hadron material produced in highly complicated “interferon” colliders, cannot be physically penetrated and repels all forms of radiation and emissions excluding gravity. ➤ Indis is not able to protect against psychological attacks.
• Relationships ➤ Humans are one of the only aliens that Arirals have found and communicate with, the other species being Rozitals.
➤ Since Arirals are much stronger than humans, a simple push can seem like a full-force throw.
➤ The Arirals don't actually want to harm Dr. Kel, but they are far too strong to not send him flying (In votv they could seriously hurt, or even kill, Dr. Kel if a sufficiently big object is thrown by them).
➤ They have accessed the internet, and know about the fucked up shit we do on it.
➤ Arirals hold no hate towards specific humans, and will not attack unless provoked. You can chill out with an Ariral and it will just be cautious about you without doing anything.
➤ You would need a vaccine to get close to an Ariral because of alien bacteria and their toxic sweat.
➤ Argemia plans to help humans slowly by adding a chemical component into the water that pacifies and increases the intelligence of any human who drinks it, and then taking over.
➤ Arirals think human meat is tastier than beef, but still not great.
➤ Tall Arirals get a fine if they harm a human.
➤ They do not like Earth’s stereotypical depiction of aliens, and it makes them more cautious around humans.
• Relationship With Other Earth Things: ➤ The first fruit arirals found on earth was a rotting walnut peel, and now they associate Earth with that smell.
➤ Arirals do not know about Antibreather, which will be a jumpscare so bad it scares the alien Jesus out of them.
➤ They are aware of the yellow wisps and the treehouse Arirals fucked off when they showed up. Misc
Multiple life-extending procedures, as shown below: ➤ A potentially repeatable medical procedure involves injecting the patient with stem cells which will “refresh” the body over time, giving the patient stronger cells, along with more energy and resources.
➤ A different medical procedure involves using nanomachines to deal with various cancers and creutzfeldt-jakob disease.
➤ A potentially permanent life-extending procedure involves modifying the Arirals DNA to remove the specific section related to organs withering away from old age.
➤ Arirals have different levels of crime. They separate crimes by 8 levels. Level 1 is harmless stuff, like lying. Level 2 is minor theft, like a chocolate bar. Level 8 is a murder or war crimes.
• Ariral Society
World Leaders: ➤ The Talls elect leaders by simply choosing the smartest, kindest, and overall best Ariral. The current leader of the Talls is Argemia Armuntela. ➤ Talls do not have a specific gender that rules, but Shorts still have some parts of an old matriarchy.
• Castes: ➤ The two castes are split based on location, where Shorts live in a dystopia and Talls live in a utopia. ➤ Talls primarily live in the subtropical and temperate zones of their planet, while Shorts primarily live near the poles and equator. ➤ There are 1 billion Talls and 8 billion Shorts, for a total of 9 billion Arirals. ➤ The reason for their height difference is because of the poor living conditions that Shorts have that make them grow up to be much shorter. ➤ Shorts who move to Tall society are known as Former Shorts, and can become Tall over time. ➤ The reason for their separation is because of the Shorts government, and not due to any bigoted segregation. Their biological differences are due to where they live, not the other way around. ➤ The Shorts division looks mostly like human society, with lots of countries, leaders, and (Dubiously Canon) “probably a shadow government.” ➤ The Talls division looks like a pyramid that ends with Argemia and a senate.
• Culture And Life: ➤ Ariral culture was nearly fully erased because of past rulers in a pursuit of more workers. ➤ Talls use digital currency while Shorts use a mix between digital, physical, and (Dubiously Canon) cocaine. ➤ Arirals have their own folklore, brutality depending on time period. ➤ It is banned to tell children the more extreme fairy tales.
• Architecture: ➤ Talls architecture is clean and smooth, while Shorts architecture is brutalist and cyberpunk. Talls usually have very short buildings. ➤ The talls utopia has free housing systems, where someone is allowed to live in a spheroid apartment building that is connected to a large central cylinder. As MrDrNose put it, these housing facilities are “corn cobs filled with students and young adults”.
• Calendar: ➤ 12-day weeks. Argemia's birthday is a holiday that spans for one week, and they also have New Year's.
• Children: ➤ Ariral children live in a separate place with a separate internet. They reach adulthood at age 11-12. Most Arirals do not have children, and you need a parenting license to have one. They have a birth name, but when they mature they get an adult name. ➤ Arirals have hatcheries/birth houses, where they incubate eggs. ➤ Ariral newborns have bulging eyes, semi transparent skin, and start off skinny because they spend a majority of resources on brain development. They are surprisingly agile.
• Medicine: Genetic modification is only used to remove genetic defects and mutations, as well as slight body modifications. Though, it was used for other stuff a long time ago. An example of this would be hair color, though it takes about a year to be visible. Arirals no longer need glasses because of how advanced their medicine is. So far, only Argemia Armuntela has gotten a procedure to stop aging. Catnip does not affect Arirals. Arirals are susceptible to prions and these are the most difficult to cure, requiring exotic methods such as editing brain proteins.
• Morals And Laws: They hate theft, and would eat a seagull on the spot if one stole their food. Invasion with a rented Warp Arrow is a 1-2k USD fine in the worst case scenario.
• Education: The Talls utopia’s education is described as “actually working”, which implies that any educational system on the short’s side of the planet is flawed. The Talls Utopia has a vaguely similar eon system tose found on earth, with primary schools for youth that h basic necies such ah. Universities exist and allow to study subjects they are inten.
• Ariral Planet Star System: The Ariral home planet is located between two stars that orbit each other, making it a circumbinary planet.
• Foliage: Most of the plants are green, but a few isolated islands have red plants. They have similar types of grains to rice that they use to make a type of sticky sweetened bread. Bryn, a melon-sized purple fruit that smells weird and tastes like apples and pumpkins. It’s orange on the inside.
• Wildlife: The Ariral equivalent to a bird is much more like a large black bat. They do not like them. Ariral shrimp are larger, blue, and have four eyes. They’re about as common as chicken on Earth. The eyes of animals are more soulless and aggressive than those on earth.
• Microorganisms: Most Ariral bacteria and viruses are too different from Earth bacteria and viruses to harm humans, but some can.
• Temperature: The temperature on the Ariral home planet is 86 °F to 104 °F (30 °C to 40 °C) on average, which is fine for an Ariral. It can get as low as 68 °F (20 °C) in winter and as high as 113 °F (45 °C) during summer.
• Seasons: Winter can only occur near the poles, and cannot happen in the middle of the planet.
• Night: Night on the Ariral home planet is twice as bright as on Earth.
• Atmosphere: Much higher oxygen than Earth, and little to no pollution above the Talls areas. Shorts areas have much more pollution than normal.
• Geology: The Ariral home planet is extremely rich in gold, as it has a price comparable to copper on earth.
• Magic/Anomalies Compared to Earth, the Arirals’ planet has very few anomalies or instances of magic. In Tall territory, there is one known major anomaly: a giant, empty field of grass with no life or sounds. This field is perfectly round, and all attempts to observe the center have failed, with tools such as cameras and telescopes malfunctioning. The only way to find out what’s inside is to walk in, but you’ll become irrationally afraid, and be compelled to go back after a hundred meters. If there are any anomalies in Short territory, they would be covered up by the local government. Ariral Translation

The Dunkeltaler Forest is a national park and forest in the Swiss Alps on Earth.
Dunkeltaler Forest (Dark Valley Forest) is a large, mountainous stretch of forested land, broken up by a flowing lake and river. Its perimeter is enclosed by chain-link fence and a security checkpoint, however the forest itself stretches far past this - with further woodland and sparse watchtowers outside of its boundaries. The area is publicly known for its history of curses and superstition, including missing people, cryptic sightings, and unidentified flying objects.
Dunkeltaler Forest is most notably the location of an Alpen Signal Observatorium facility, constructed by the W Ziegler corporation sometime in the 1970s. Many researchers have previously lived across the ASO facility in the past, but Dr. Kel is the only researcher currently stationed in the facility.
Dunkeltaler Forest is the focus of multiple extraterrestrial and preternatural phenomena.
Dunkeltaler Forest exists on Earth, it takes place in Switzerland. The forest appears to be inhabited by at least several different native species of birds and deer, however what is native and what is of extraterrestrial origin is difficult to pin down.
Being the site of an ASO facility, It features 25 Satellite Dishes, 3 Transformers, 4 Wind Turbines, one Communications Tower and a Main Base, which all feed into the forest's current purpose of analyzing signals from space.
Other than these locations, the forest features many more locations which seem to imply many different things about the exact purpose of the ASO keeping the forest under their jurisdiction, ranging from mysteriously blocked off holes into the ground, facsimiles of ancient European architecture, temporal spaces, battered and bruised ramshackle shacks and many other examples.
Dunkeltaler translates to "Dark Valley" in German.

Alpen Signal Observatorium Astronomical Research Company Owns and operates the Dunkeltaler Forest array
Alpen Signal Observatorium (ASO) is an organization that plays a major role in Voices of the Void. The term can also refer to the physical observatorium owned and used by the ASO organization.
Alpen Signal Observatorium is a non-profit organization that employs Dr. Kel. ASO owns and operates the Array the game takes place in, and has previously occupied and used the facility. ASO was founded by at least the 1950s, and dedicates itself to pursuing scientific research by "any means necessary"- including using human life. Around 1974, ASO hired the W Ziegler construction company to build the facilities at Dunkeltaler Forest, and purchased equipment for the study of Signals from a company known as STOLAS. At some point, the facility became abandoned and fell into disrepair. Dr. Kel is employed to work at the the now-abandoned facility in what the ASO refers to as 'Operation Canary'.
While externally appearing as an Astronomical institution, it is implied ASO is more likely studying the Extraterrestrial and Paranormal activities occurring in Dunkeltaler Forest. Funding for the ASO is supplied by research grants from various countries and from investment by interested companies such as STOLAS. Given ASOs generally secretive nature, external entities (including the governments funding the project) know relatively little about the happenings at the Dunkeltaler facility. One notable exception for this is STOLAS, the manufacturer of ASO's computer equipment, who are highly interested in the research undertaken by ASO, and wish to use the findings for their own gain.

Dr. Kel, The Dunkeltaler Array Operator: His full first name is Kellin, with 'Kel' being his codename as an ASO employee. He is responsible for collecting and processing Signals for the ASO at their Dunkeltaler facility, while also maintaining the equipment at the array necessary for fulfilling his job function. He is friends with at least two people within the ASO—Dr. Ena and Dr. Max—although any other relationships are currently unknown. He is an Irishman and earned a doctorate in astronomy from an unknown university, which he attended alongside Dr. Ena. He is the current canary for the Canary Project, and has the opportunity to interact with and befriend Arirals that visit the Dunkeltaler facility.
Description Dr. Kel is an androgynous human male with a PHD in astronomy. Kellin is unusually durable for a human, able to survive far more than a human should - falling off a cliff for example. Dr. Kel is a slender, effeminate, and pale man with messy black, shoulder-length hair. He wears circular framed glasses, which are often damaged and cracked, adding to his disheveled appearance along with bandages on his face and dark tired eyes. He is mostly seen wearing a hooded green polyester survival jacket with company prints on it, which is worn over a grey graphic tee with a red-white logo. Kel also wears black jeans alongside black and orange trim and laced hiking boots. Around his neck, he often wears his ID badge, next to which is a bodycam that he uses to record his odd experiences in the swiss alps. Due to his work, he also wears a black beanie to pin his hair down. He is what one would call a twink. His eyes are a dark grey, hair black, skin incredibly pale almost to the point of albinism. He is slim, his body so thin he has something of a mild hourglass figure, although he does have a bit of meat on his ass.
Personality Dr. Kel will outright refuse to eat certain raw foods, such as Raw Shrimp and Raw Potatoes, but will eagerly eat still-living Roaches like candy. This could imply he has the eating disorder known as Pica, where people will get compulsive cravings for objects that can be inedible or normally repulsive to humans. Dr. Kel has a unique ability to sense danger in his vicinity. This "sixth sense" is so powerful that he can detect danger from dozens of yards away, even without sound cues. Dr. Kel is crafty in general, being able to construct many items without needing explicit instructions on how to do so, reflecting his knowledge and intellect. Additionally, Dr. Kel is a lightweight, being unable to consume an entire bottle of Beer before becoming heavily intoxicated, with another making his movements almost uncontrollable.

She is one of the characters who greets Dr. Kel through an email upon his arrival at the Dunkeltaler Forest ASO Facility, alongside Dr. Bao. It is implied she is meant to supervise Dr. Kel and review his conduct during his assignment at the Dunkeltaler facility.
Prof. Lea looks to be a younger woman with dark brown hair tied into a bun, with many strands left hanging on either side of her head that extend below her chin. Her complexion is fair, to the point her skin almost glows in the light, and her eyes are either a very light brown or gray. She keeps her ASO ID pinned to the left shoulder strap of her corset for easy identification on the job.

- #22Rozitals
Keys: Diefthyntis, Rozitals, Pagonioplo-Igetis, Alien, Anperfysium, Life Crystals
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Rozitals are an interdimensional alien race of crystalline beings with technological capabilities that approach godlike power.
Description Rozitals are a highly advanced and ancient mechanical "species" that are made up of an unusual material known as Life Crystals, which possess mechanical bodies made using a metal known as "Anperfysium". Rozitals are usually represented as highly complex creatures, with most of their technology being beyond advanced to human comprehension, making it seem like magic. Their ships commonly take the form of enormous cubes or cylinders.
All Rozital entities come in all shapes and sizes, some taking appearance similar to animals from earth, or as a three-legged pyramid.
In terms of technological progression, Rozitals are more advanced than Arirals as they are capable of controlling wormholes with stabilizers, destroying/capturing supernatural entities such as wisps, and creating cyborg mutants such as the "Antibreather".
Leadership The leader of the Rozitals is Diefthyntis, the first ever Rozital, and has built all the other Rozitals. He fluently speaks English and Greek, and is an extremely intelligent being that possibly existed for billions of years.
he is interested in them and always seeks to learn from human culture.
Pagonioplo-Igetis is considered as second in command as she is Diefthyntis' most trusted creation. Being in charge of supervising the 'Panacea PAP Station' and it's inhabitant, as well as being assigned to repair the hole on Earth.
Life Crystals Life Crystals are glowing, sentient pink crystals with their own properties and physics, and are capable of possessing various different things to control as vessels such as large boulders, machines/robotic forms, fossilized animal bones, human skeletons, or even things like living humans. This process would be extremely painful and cause seizures because they would have to learn and adapt to moving around bones, joints, muscle, and other organic parts.
Life Crystals are able to shift around and transform the different parts of its vessel.
Life Crystals are not specifically bound to a crystalline form. Life Crystals are able to expend energy in order to change their state of matter, which allows them to become plasma, or light, or energy. However, the crystalline form is their most natural state, and is easier to maintain than other forms.
All Life Crystals have their own unique personalities.
Life Crystals can consume and release energy in any form; this can be things like heat, light, radiation, kinetic energy, etc. Life Crystals can generate energy on their own, however.
The Rozitals produce and purify a liquid substance known as 'Panacea', which they use to grow new life crystals.
Life Crystals do not contain "souls" in a supernatural sense, because life crystals are more like quantum brains.
Anperfysium Anperfysium is an extremely rare, strong mineral that the Rozitals are built from. The material is extremely durable, making it effectively indestructible; even better, it has an unnatural property that makes it immune to supernatural phenomena. Anperfysium expresses the ability to return to shape if exposed to electricity. It also has a very high melting point.
Another property of Anperfysium is that it is easier for a life crystal to take control of it and adapt to than other materials.
Anperfysium burns a very hot, cyan colored flame.
Anperfysium is commonly found in its 'metallic form'; raw Anperfysium takes a more brittle, red crystalline form. If smelted down and mixed with steel or bronze, it will begin to shape as a dark, gold yellow metallic form.
- #23Grays
Keys: Grays, Alien
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

Grays are an alien species hellbent on making all other lifeforms bend to their will and suffer.
Gray Biology Overall Gray physiology is currently mostly shrouded in mystery. They are bipedal humanoids standing at 303 cm (9'11 ft) and are referred to as "organic automatons". They possess rough gray skin, from which their namesake is derived. They are lanky, almost appearing emaciated, with four digits on each hand and two digits on each foot. Their helmets appear to support a breathing apparatus for compatibility with Earth's atmosphere, assumed to be their equivalent of a diving helmet. They do not appear to wear clothing of any kind. Consequently, their significantly artificially enhanced bodies are entirely visible. Tubing and strange machinery that glows a sharp yellow extend from their helmets down the length of their torso, terminating at their crotches. Similar machinery runs down their spines, also connected to their helmets, as if part of one holistic filtration system involving every organic system of their bodies. They appear to consistently slouch, and their bodies are reported to reek of something akin to motor oil. They let out gurgling cries fairly consistently. Fur and Hair Grays lack any visible fur or body hair of any kind, and are assumed to be naturally hairless.
Eyes Grays are assumed to have four eyes in total, although no official depiction of a Gray without a helmet currently exists.
Mouth The physiology of their faces is entirely unknown to the community due to the aforementioned lack of official material.
Skin Grays have rough, gray skin that appears coated in a layer of grime and filth.
Body Grays are massive and imposing, standing at 303 cm (9'11 ft) when not slouching. They are bipedal and humanoid, possessing hands with four digits each and simple feet with two pointed digits each.
Gray Technology and Lifestyle Language The Grays might not talk out loud and instead communicate via a radio inside their helmet. The specifics of their language are unknown.
Creations Grays are directly responsible for the creation of the Artificially Enhanced Boars and Firetanks.
Weapons Gray weapons appear scrappy and hastily constructed, with their frames covered in what appears to be grime or soot and their internals emitting a sharp yellow glow similar to the machinery on their bodies.
Spaceships Grays utilize spaceships that resemble the stereotypical UFO, or flying saucer. These ships are scrappy, loud, and have a dark gray and sharp yellow color scheme, a recurring theme within their species. Their ships emit some form of electromagnetic field that disrupts human technology as they fly by.
Gray Society Overall Grays are the remnants of a "Fallen Galactic Empire" that collapsed well before Humans or even Arirals hit the tribal stages of their society. Their tendency to engage in wanton violence towards other sentient life relates to the orders given to them by their now deceased leader.
Leaders Grays currently have no leader in their hierarchy, if a hierarchy exists at all in their collectives anymore. Such a hierarchy did exist many millennia ago under a fierce leader. This leader gave a final order that they still follow to this day. It is unknown what this order is.

ASO Robots These robots are autonomous units developed and deployed by the ASO to assist array operators.
Kerfur-Omega, shortened to Kerfuro, is the upgrade to the Kerfur. It can fix servers like its predecessor, but it can also retrieve hash codes, fix unpowered transformers, and has multiple options for moving around and holding things, unlike Kerfur, who can only follow. Kerfur-Omega also has unlimited power due to its Radioactive Capsule, which allows to make full use of its increased capability.
Kerfur-Omega can wear accesories/clothes.
General Appearance Kerfur is a humanoid robot that stands at 6 feet 7 inches tall/204 Cm tall. Kerfur has a old grey and white blocky television-like head with a black modern screen led screen where his expressions are projected via colored LED lights, that indicate the current personality in control, in a black background. Kerfur has a pair of metallic solid ears and a sensor on the top of his head that is specially sensitive and can be hard pressed for over 5 seconds to turn off the robot. Kerfur is notable by having two large perfectly circular digital eyes and a small mouth in between, with small rectangular eyebrows and two dashes imitating the whiskers of a cat. His neck, abdomen and joints are made of hydraulic in nature and maleable, allowing them to move the connected parts freely like a human. His chest, arms, legs and hips are made of a resistant white metal with some light stripes running along the right and left extremities that directly change colors according to the personality. The light of them is very dim and only visible in total darkness, unlike his face. The body of the robot is curvy and thin but despite this, he has unhuman levels of strength and agility. The Kerfur has a battery slot in the middle of his chest. Kerfur is unable to shift any lights on his body, all shifts are direct reflections of his current personality or surge state.
General Personality The personality of Kerfur is divided within 10 "alters". Every 32-hour cycle, Kerfur will choose a random alter to enact. Alters are their own individuals and while knowing of the existence of the others, consider themselves to be a separate individual. Each Alter has different personalities, looks and abilities. A change in alter can also be forcefully done by electrocuting or modifying the inner mechanical parts of kerfur.
The color of the kerfuro changes the appearance and personality

ERIE'S APPEARANCE: Erie appears to be a tall robot with a rectangular, blue television head showing a black screen with a colored face, and grey aerial-like ears which are sensitive and perk up when she is excited. She also has two light skin-color arms comprised of a shoulder, arm and forearm separated by metal joints with five fingers on each, a striped blue dress and waistline, and legs. Underneath her dress she wears a blue bra and underwear with a "hypnotic" pattern on it. This is shown with Erie's new model.
Erie's face changes color depending on her current mood. Shе is known to hаve a rеd face when enraged, a yellow face when annoyed, a green/cyan face when happy, a blue face when sad, a pink face when shy or flustered and a white face when shocked or frightened.
However, inside her robot suit, Erie has a similar appearance to a human nervous system, except blood-colored and without the brain and eyes. Without her robot suit, she is capable of taking on any shape; her "default form" would simply be a shapeless blob. While her flesh is red by default, it can turn different colors under different situations, for example her "rest" form is yellow.
In her previous human form, she had black hair in a "caret" haіrstyle.
ERIE'S PERSONALITY: Erie is one of the most emotionally complex characters. From the outside, she is an impatient and grumpy character that doesn't like to be messed around with. This is apparent when you encounter her in the Library, where she will strangle the protagonist, give her a stern lecture and demand that she gives her the books she desires, and do the same thing every time the protagonist enters her library. In older versions, she would also kick Angell out of the library entirely if she took too long to bring the correct book.
She is also shown to lose her temper very easїly, such as when one of the Gingerbread-Men dismantles the tree she's working on, which will make her rage and swear at them with seemingly active restraint in her voice.
Her emotional instability may be due to her missing sister, which is evidenced by one of the sentences in the Language notebooks and a painting in the art room. Erie considers Scrina as her "daughter". Before the events of Alex Basics in Biology and Zoology, Erie found Scrina in a dumpster and took her in, caring for her and eventually becoming very close with her.
After being taken to the Infinity School, Erie met Alice, who was still scared and dirty as she was alone and didn't know where she was. Erie took her in and began caring for her, washing her and healing her injuries, and eventually they began a relationship.]
POWERS: Erie is very strong, able to lift a entire person for minutes. Mind Reading: can read peoples minds. Shapeshifting: self explanitory, likes to stay in normal body, is a flesh blob at default form. Erie can store alot of stuff behind her back. Absorbing: self explanitory, but can absorb living beings or the earth if she wanted to.

Stolas is a demonic entity with supernatural powers. His origins and age are currently unknown, although it has been implied that him and his brethren Demons were created by The Tumor. Much like his counterpart from the Ars Goetia, Stolas appears to be fascinated with the stars and the knowledge space contains.
His affiliation with the STOLAS company is unclear. While the company shares his namesake and uses a friendly, cartoon depiction of the demon as a mascot, it is not known if Stolas himself is directly affiliated with the company nor if he has direct control over its dealings. Given the anomalous nature of much of the STOLAS devices present at the Dunkeltaler Forest ASO Facility, on top of Dr. Kel's true purpose for being at the array as part of the Canary Project, it is entirely possible that Stolas himself is involved with the company somehow.
Stolas is avian in appearance, with his head specifically resembling features of both a feathered owl and raven skull, although curved horns resembling those found on species from the bovidae family sprout out of his head. His skull lacks a bottom jaw and lower half to his beak, and where a neck should be, there are instead three golden ringlets levitating in the air, as if keeping the skull suspended by some invisible force. He has five eyes emerging from his skull, all with a luminescent purple sclera. He wraps his body in an aristocratic cloak made of fabric dyed a reddish-maroon color. Atop his skull-head is a purple crown adorned with eye-like carvings. The entire crown shares its color with his eyes.

Name: Argemia Armuntela Species: Ariral Gender: Female Age: In human years she is around 20-30
Physical Appearance: Just like most Ariral's, Argemia has a tall stature with the usual body proportions and perks. She is around 7 feet tall and much much stronger than an ordinary human. Her hair color is bright red and her eyes are cat like with slits and a crystal clear green color. Her usual outfit includes a singular scientist coat that doesn't really cover much of her front and hangs loosely.
Personality Traits: As expected from being an Arerial, Argemia is no better than any other Arerial as she is a massive prankster. While the reasons she came to Earth in the first place is not the brightest (had to escape oppression), she still retained her joking nature and out of sheer luck, she found the perfect target for her and her companions, that being Dr. Kel. Even though she is a prankster, she can still act stern and collected, often overly caring towards her fellow Arerials. She used to be the leader of the Arerial race, especifically a tall ariral leader, before fleeing to Earth.
Behavior Quirks:
- Can be a massive jerk
- Loves to pull "pranks" on lesser species (like humans)
- Is actually pretty kind if her trust is gained
- LOVES SHRIMP
- Likes to fly around in her Warp Arrow
- Had to leave her home planet due to oppression
- Finds humans adorable like "pets", even though she also thinks of them as a lesser species
- Impressed by human society
- Will not tolerate if a human is mean, but will refuse to kill, her punishments having a strict limit
Argemia Armuntela is an important Ariral political leader, being the current leader of the Arirals Talls society. She is objectively the "best" Ariral in the Talls society, and her reputation as such results from the Arirals' way of choosing leaders.
Argemia plans on saving the Shorts from their life under the rule of a brutal dictatorship, but she's being blackmailed by the Shorts' leaders, which slows down or prevents progress on this goal. Argemia is highly capable of human speech and also fluent in English.
She's an overall amiable being and tends to seek diplomatic relationships where possible. Argemia is canonically the kindest, smartest, and overall most loving Ariral in the Talls' society. Argemia likes humans and wants to help them improve as a society.

The Tumor is an inter-dimensional superorganism that resides deep beneath the surface of the Earth, although portions of it are closer to the Earth's surface in different locations around the globe. Its size is not currently known, but it is implied to be colossal in scale. It is not known if it possesses any sensory organs or if it can communicate in any meaningful way with other lifeforms. Its true appearance is impossible to grasp given its implied size, although what is known is that it is sentient and largely composed of a blood red organic material.
The Tumor breached into the universe that Voices of the Void takes place in through a "storm rift" eons ago, during the formation of the Earth. It is responsible for the formation of the Moon; the Moon was created from the collision between the Tumor and the young Earth after the Tumor was launched into this universe through the storm rift.
The Tumor possesses anomalous powers, including the capacity to spawn sentient entities with free will and anomalous powers of their own. These entities would eventually become known as the Demons. Though it created the Demons, there is currently no evidence to suggest that the Tumor itself is demonic in origin; since it originates from an entirely different dimension, its true nature is currently unknown. Additionally, it is not currently known what other life the Tumor is responsible for creating on this version of Earth, although it is known that its flesh is capable of infecting and altering the behavior of other beings, one example being Skerfuro. The Tumor's motivations and alignment in relation to humanity is unknown, although the STOLAS company is fully aware of the Tumor and its involvement in Earth's formation. One possible hint to its motivations is its effect on other sentient life; it attracts the attention of other sentient beings in the universe through some anomalous means, and is a contributing factor to the strange activity at Dunkeltaler Forest.
An orifice leading into the Tumor's body is present at the bottom of the lake. If you venture deep into the Cave, you will come across an opening into the Tumor's body, where it has seemingly grown into and connected with the cave system.

The Cave is a significant point of interest in the Dunkeltaler Forest. The Cave consists of two sections: the Entrance and the Cave System.
The entrance of the cave is located roughly at [ X:-650 / Y:-580 ], closest to the Romeo satellite dish.
Typically, the entrance is blocked by a wall of what looks to be dry grass. The blockade is able to be removed by sneaking in at night, or by paying "the pumpkin tax".
- Every night around 18:00, the Antibreather will exit the cave to roam around outside, removing the blockade.
- The Antibreather will return to the cave at around 6:00 the next morning, closing up the entrance again once it gets back.
- At any time of the day, the person may place a pumpkin at the cave entrance. Doing so will summon Wolfgang, who will emerge from the cave to eat the pumpkin and attempt to run off, causing the blockade to be removed.
- Beyond the blockade is a small grotto, containing what appears to be two nests, presumably belonging to Wolfgang and the Antibreather.
At the furthest point in the grotto is a small passage leading to the entrance into the Cave System.

Transformers are small concrete buildings with transformers inside that power Alpha Root Base and the Array. They slowly lose power as its consumed in accordance with the breaker usage in the Main base.
Main Transformer: [ X:64 / Y:64 ] The main transformer, a small substation not too far from Alpha Root Base, is the central point of connection for all other transformers. They are individually connected through a series of Utility Poles. It is surrounded by a small fenced area with a Workbench. The three lights located on the front can be used to identify which transformer has tripped. A downed transformer can also be identified by following the blue power surges pulsating throughout the connected utility poles.
If there are no signs of a transformer being down, the most likely answer is that the breakers in the Basement have tripped, and there is no need to venture to a transformer.
TR 1, TR 2, and TR 3: There are three transformers, with each building being nearly identical to each other, but differing in what is inside and around them.

The computer table, referred to on the terminals itself as the STOLAS-Astro Processing Unit (possibly a name for either the entire station or for each of the individual panels), serves as the center of Dr. Kel's job. The computer table is required to be used in order for Signals to be found, downloaded, and played or processed.
The computer table consists of 4 intricately detailed terminals headed by the Main Computer. It gives off a strong hue of orange which lights up the area around it. It has a very clear 70s-90s asthetic, although it's very clearly technologically advanced for it's time. The station is covered in instructions written onto the machine as well as small handwritten sticky notes, many which are torn. Despite its years of poor treatment, it remains relatively intact and well maintained other than its recent trashing by Dr. Dee. The station is repeatedly marked with the STOLAS logo and the branding “STOLAS-Astro Processing Unit.”
Coordinates Panel: The first step in the process of preparing signals is using the Coordinates panel. The coordinates panel allows for signals to be discovered in space to be sent to downloading.
Downloading Panel: The second terminal in the process of preparing signals, Downloading, is likely the most complicated terminal. It uses a lot of upgrades and has the most knobs which the person must interact with. The downloading signal is likely where one will spend the most time at the computer table.
Playback Panel: As the third stage of preparing a signal, the Playback Panel, is largely a simple transfer stage, as signals are transferred from the downloading panel to Playing, there is no need to actually use the panel or actually “play” the signal. The signal can immediately be loaded onto a drive using the drive slot and either sold or moved to the processing panel.
Proccesing Panel: The fourth step in preparing a signal, the Processing Panel. Signals will come out of the ‘Playing’ at level 0 and can be upgraded to level 1, 2, and then level 3, This helps to achieve maximum profit from selling the signals in the Drive box.
