The story is set in a harsh prehistoric world where humanity never discovered agriculture and never advanced beyond the Stone Age. Without farming or permanent settlements, humans survive as fully nomadic tribes, constantly traveling across forests, plains, mountains, rivers and coastlines in search of food and safer lands.
To endure this unforgiving world, tribes rely on hunting, fishing, scavenging and gathering wild plants, fruits and roots. Survival is difficult, and every season brings new dangers, from starvation and harsh weather to territorial predators.
Unlike in real history, some species of dinosaurs survived through the ages and now roam the earth alongside humans. Some are hunted for food, hides and bones, while others are feared as deadly predators capable of wiping out entire camps. Knowledge of the wild, tracking, hunting and survival is deeply respected among tribes, as even small mistakes can mean death.
Because humanity never discovered metalworking, all tools and weapons are made from stone, obsidian, wood, bone, leather and other natural materials. Fire, cooperation and tribal bonds are essential for survival in a world where nature is both provider and relentless threat.
